Suburban Exterminating

Reasonable, good people and good service.

I saw swarming termites in my basement. I had 3 contractors come and inspect and all said the same thing. Termites were in my house. They showed me the tunnels the pests were building. The contractor explained what they would do and when they would do it. Their price was the lowest and they were a neighborhood business so I went with them. We'll see in a few months if the pests are gone .

We were very happy with them. They came when they said the would. Did what they said they would do. They were prompt, pleasant, knowledgeable, and got rid of our problem. I would absolutely use them again.

The man who performed the inspection was knowledgeable and thorough. I was satisfied.

I found them to be prompt and professional. I found the termites in my entrance foyer and called them. The representative was at my house the next morning. I found him to be very informative explaining the entire procedure to my husband and myself. The following day the work was completed to our satisfaction.

They made 3 visits to get rid of them and we have not seen any since.

A friend of mine discovered that she had termites so I thought it would be a good idea to have an inspection done to see if I had that problem. I looked on Angie's List and saw that Suburban Exterminating was rated A so I gave them a call. They told me they do termite inspections and they were free. She was able to contact the inspector right then and scheduled me for the same day, within a few hours. Now I was very reluctant because I thought for sure that even thought I might not have termites they were going to try to treat me for something. Kevin came just when they said, he was very professional and cordial and knew right away what to look for. He examined the entire perimeter and garage and basement of my home only to find that there was no presence of termites. I then asked if there was a charge now that he didn't find any evidence and he said "no". He did give me information and costs on what it takes to treat termites in the area for prevention or existing problems. Even though I had no need for their services, I would use this company if I did.

Prompt and courteous service.

They are fantastic. They show up on time and got all the work done they promised. The technicians were able to get rid of the termites. They were able to diagnose the area the termites were entering. They left traps and monitors and check them periodically. I had some other estimates and Suburban had a great price, were very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I have very pleased with their work. I plan on using them in the future.

We called Suburban for help on a Saturday morning after discovering swarms of bees in the house. We had made several calls before consulting Angie's List, to local companies that we were familiar with, but they could not provide service on the weekend, and this needed immediate attention. Suburban arrived in a timely fashion and took care of the problem, checking three times again in the weeks following to make sure the bees were all gone. We were very pleased with the results. My only reservation was that the serviceman who did the actual removal was not fully prepared, and had to use our tarps, ladder and vacuum (to vacuum the bees from inside the wall). Aside from that, he completed the job in a professional manner. My communications to the company were very satisfactory. I would consider calling them again.

I am on an annual contract with them and the service was good. They sprayed inside and outside and left me extra traps. They were able to customize my spray to do as much or as little as I wanted because I did not want any in the bedrooms so they accommodated that.

They did a good job. They told me to call them back if I saw any ants and offered a yearly contract. They were careful not to spray near my pet's areas.

The service was supposed to be for three months. The roaches were exterminated. However, since I paid with my credit card, and they kept billing my credit card for another 6 months without my authorization. Was able to retrieve a portion of the over charges but not all. This was just dishonest on their part

It went well, but just very expensive. Oh, and they are so busy it was difficult to set up times for them to come.

The night after we moved into our new house we heard scratching that seemed to come from the attic. I found Suburban online and they came the next day. No one knows exactly what was up there but Suburban kept sending guys every week to solve the problem. Most recently they sealed two possible entrances to the house. We are hoping this does the trick.

Both estimator and technicians came within the promised timeframe. They seemed to be knowledgeable, very pleasant, and all was as promised. Have not seen any live ants, only a few dead ones, so seems treatment is working. They are going to do a follow-up visit in two weeks.

I called about having trouble with black flies in the house. They made a big deal about how they would take care of this. Then they never called back. When I finally called back, I was informed that they do not deal with this type of problem. They gave me the name of their entomologist who did call back and talked with my wife. He was nice and gave some advice. He suggested that we send him a picture of the fly, but I didn't do that since I did not have a dissecting scope with a camera attachment.

It's too early to say, but so far so good.

They are courteous, punctual and they've had a success with our problem. They just continually show up when they are supposed to. They are not the cheapest.

They came. THere were fewer mice and eventually (by May) no mice for a few months. They stopped the ants immediately

3/11/13 -- as of today, so far so good!

They came, they saw, they removed, they repaired.

While Suburban was courteous and professional, I felt the one-time service fee offered and annual fee of 884.00 that we paid was excessive and not of great value, particularly in light of the fact that they never identified, found, or exterminated any pests!!

We have felt that this company has always been very professional and the people that take our calls and respond are very kind. I have allergy problems so it is important that whatever chemicals used are safe and we also have pets. I will continue to use this service as long as they can provide us with treatments to keep us safe from some destructive insects.

Overall, I found them to be very professional during the initial call and my wife cannot say enough about the techncian they sent to our home. I really hope I do not need pest control often for my home, when I do, I will call 8646900 for Suburban.... Good luck to my Long Island neighbors and hope your experiences are like ours.
