As soon as I finished my request on HomeAdvisor and pressed Enter, the phone rang and it was Kevin from Smithtown House of Vacuums. I explained what I needed and arranged to meet him at my house, which is in the process of being elevated as a result of Hurricane Sandy. The internal vacuum piping and venting of the central vacuum system had to be moved and rerouted to allow the ceiling in the new utility room to be closed. Kevin did this in a more efficient configuration and lowered the receptacle drum in the garage because the elevation made it unreachable. Everything was lined up and hooked up and ready to go after just one visit. The level of workmanship was excellent, and on a personal level, dealing with Kevin was very clean and easy. He's punctual, does what he says and is a man of his word. I strongly recommend Kevin for anybody needing the services of an excellent central vacuum cleaning system specialist.

Diagnosed and corrected the problem immediately. Very knowledgeable. I thought there was a clog when in fact there was an open pipe above the ceiling. He knew immediately by the sound of the vacuum. Great job!!!
