This was a computer my son built himself and he took the time to talk to him and answer all of his questions. In my opinion he went above and beyond what was asked of him. I would definitely use him again.
Description of Work: The provider analyzed the computer and graphics card. it was determined the graphics card was defective. At that time he game me phone number for manufacturer because the part was still under warranty. he also got the computer working at optimal speed and reorganized all wires inside machine. he also recommended several malware, adware and antivirus programs.

No matter what it takes if we bring the power to them. It wasn't bad at all. We were very pleased with the service. He did what he promised. When he said it would be ready, it was ready.  + -1 moreOverall, this was an excellent experience. Despire his stated price policy of $50 for the diagnostic and $100 for labor, he only charged me $100 for the whole thing. My PC has been running just fine since getting it home three days ago, so Mr. Vitebski seems to have fixed the problem. I would not hesitate to recommend NY PC Clinic to anyone.
Description of Work: My PC suddenly crashed on me and then wouldn't boot up. While I can tinker with minor stuff in my PC, I knew I had a problem that required a professional. With that in mind, I took a ride over to NY PC Clinic and met with its proprietor, Boris Vitebski. After describing the problem, and the fact that the PC was going on 6 years old, he thought the problem might be the result of a failed motherboard, something I suspected as well. If that was the case, I could be looking at a big bill. He said he would take a look at it and get back to me. He also informed me up front that his rate was $50 for the diagnostic, $100 for labor and $x for parts (depending on the problem). A week later (he is very busy, plus this all happened during Christmas week!), he called to tell me that my PC was fixed! Turns out that after performing a full system diagnostic, plus an overnight memory diagnostic, the problem seemed to have been that the BIOS just had a fatal glitch that required a hard reset. He also found out that my BIOS software needed a critical update, which probably caused the problem in the first place. Seeing how he could have just done the easy thing and replaced the entire motherboard, I realized that I was dealing with an honest PC technician.
