SCUMBAG! TOTAL SCUMBAG! Along with other past customers of his, I am suing this sly dirtbag. He MUST be stripped of his license. He is THE reason it is so difficult to trust contractors. He endangered my wife and son’s lives with his illegal, shoddy, careless, out-of-code, irresponsible, dangerous work. He promised to do a number of jobs for us - wrote up, detailed, and signed a contract. Brought in other licensed friends to give quotes and lie about prices and what is needed (whom I am also writing about on Angie’s List). Ultimately, he is a conniving sack of doodoo. He did a terrible job, got his pay, and disappeared. He did not respond to one text, wa, or email after I kept sending him so many for two weeks after he disappeared. Of course, he keeps his voicemail box full so we can't leave a message; twice we caught him on the phone. His curt words before quickly hanging up: “I’m talking to my account, call you right back.” Liar: he never even bothered to call again. This, despite that my wife is disabled, my son only 3 years old, and I am bedridden being just off a hip surgery. He smelled of alcohol in the afternoon on second day of the job. He was all over the place, running around the neighborhood, disappearing for hours during the job, lying about when he would arrive to work. He's a real mess. He was actually referred by our neighbor, whom we learned got a cut from Larry. All of the online and government agency reports and licensing on him check out, for Suffolk County, anyway, but I promise you, not for long. He’s not worthy to be allowed to touch Long Island, let alone live and work here. Scumbag. I am suing him for the full price I paid him plus the thousands I had to pay legit contractor (find my positive review of him here on Angie’s List) to fix his sloppy, careless, out-of-code work that endangered my family. I am reporting him to the Better Business Bureau (as did a police officer who is also suing him). I am suing and reporting him the the NYS Attorney General, Suffolk County where he lists his business address, and reporting him to Nassau County where I live. Keep this wacked out maniac away from your family. And, I just found out that he lied and is not licensed in Nassau County. Therefore, he brought in an inspector (who would've mocked his job) and he never even filed the job. Want more details: defective and even used equipment, careless work; used cheaper items than listed on receipt; numerous dangerous violations throughout his work of installing new circuit board and wiring; never brought inspector as promised; left cleanup to me being bedridden from surgery; I had to hire a professional electrician to undo his garbage and completely redo the entire job to ensure my family is safe.
Description of Work: a lot - which he promised to do only to scam us. We primarily looked for cooling and heating the whole house with ductless hvac's, but we needed to upgrade our electric system first, He did this, but used second-grade products after he promised us first rate: e.g., he wrote on the contract and told us he'd use only copper wiring - he even showed us the wiring. After he left and never responded to our calls again, we checked and only the easily visible wires are copper, the rest something else. HE'S NOT EVEN LICENSED IN NASSAU COUNTY AND HE TOLD US HE WAS!!! DO NOT GO NEAR THIS GUY! HE'S WACKO!
