A Unclog U

They were professional, did the job well, and thier price was more than fair. We'd use them again without hesitation. My only complaint, and it's minor, is they came later than they said they would. We would have appreciated a call letting us know, that's all. But overall, they are definitely worthy of an "A".

Everything went great. They offered to come in on Sunday, even though it was not an emergency, which was very convenient. Leo showed up in the time slot promised, cleaned the main drain and checked for any plumbing issues.

I called A Unclogged U the first time on 10/21. They diagnosed the problem to originate from the sewage. They unclogged the sewage two ways. One week later, there is another clog in my drain system from the kitchen (kitchen was just renovated). Called A Unclogged U back. He sent over an hour to try to unclogged my pipes. He ended up having to run the snake into the sewage again. This time, he was more thorough than the last time. He ended up running almost 75feet toward the street and pulled out some roots. Overall, I appreciate his work. But I would preferred he runs the snake more thoroughly the first time he came. He did ended up giving me ~$50 dollars discount at the end (but if he had did the work more thoroughly last time, I would not be charge ~$50 anyway). However, I do understand there is no guarantee when there is roots issue. Overall, I appreciate his work and solved my problem. On a side note, he took down some of the piping when he tried to run the snake through my kitchen sink. When he put it back on, there was water leaking from the sink. He said that it was because my contractor did not put it on correctly. My contractor said he did it correctly. Regardless, that was a minor issue compare to the my drainage issue. My contractor fixed it for me at a later time.

it was above what they do. So didn't have any service performed. But everyone was really nice that I spoke to and they guy that came.

It turned out fine. It was a simple matter and he took care of it quickly. They came on time and took care of the job right away.

Called in the morning, appt set between 2 and 4pm. Leo showed up at 145pm. Examined the problem and used an electric snake through the house trap into the house. cleared the clog and was out with in 20 minutes. Excellent work!

Arrived with in time frame provided. Service person was respectful, explained what needed to be done ,provided service and cleaned up when finished.

I called them late on Saturday morning, told them what the problem was and they were there by mid afternoon. Serviceman was professional and worked diligently at clearing out a badly clogged disposal system. What impressed me most about this company is the passion with which Patty the owner, approached her business and her customer care. She is not just talking the talk but applies her promise of satisfaction to every aspect of her business. It may not be the least expensive rate in town but it's the most professional and the most dedicated. I have been a busy owner for a long time. I am a maniac about customer care. I will not do business with anyone who doesn't share that dedication. I highly recommend this company.

When you have a clogged drain that is backing sewage up into your home.. and you cannot use your facilities.. you need help quickly. Upon calling this company, I immediately received attention to my problem. The person who answered the phone ended up being the gentleman who came to my home and fixed the problem. He was careful to ask questions so that I could give him the best information required to explain the problem. He discussed what the problem could be (of course he had to see it in person, understandably), and explained the costs involved. He set up an appointment to my convenience. He arrived promptly, at the time we had agreed upon. He reviewed the situation and explained what was required and what was happening so that I understood. He thoroughly answered any questions I had as well. Once the clog was removed.. I was billed the amount agreed upon. The service was prompt, well done, and had excellent results.. PLUS the price was very fair and reasonable. I would HIGHLY recommend this company.

I had purchased a big deal for the service, and they were excellent. I was very satisfied. He came on time, he was very courteous, and he left. I would use them again.

They are very good. I would use them again in the future.

The $49 price is for 1 drain. I also needed a cap which the guy said would be 10 bucks at home depot or 20 bucks with him and frankly, i couldn't trust myself to be able to put it on so i said of course. very nice attitude even under tough working conditions of waste water, heat and humidity. They will be my drain experts moving forward!

I would like to give this provider a A+. 1. He brought with him a 75'feet snake which is long enough to handle my long drain pipe all the way to the main pipe. 2. He is punctual, very knowleable, nice guy. 3. The price is unbeatable. $44.00 on promotion. I paid 4x as much for the other guy before and did not even do a good job. We are very happy for the result. The drain works so well now and we are sure it will last for a long time. Problem solved. Thank you.

Called at 7:12 am (7am was start of posted business hours) on Saturday morning to schedule service for what I believed was an obstructed main line. Reached voicemail and left a message. Call returned by Patty at 8:03am. Very pleasant. Scheduled service for between 9 and 11am, same day. Leo was the serviceman. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable, helpful and polite. Arrived within scheduled 2 hour window. Was courteous enough not to walk on my newly paved driveway which was taped off. He waited outside of my fence until he caught my attention through the front door. I told him we could walk on it. Asked and listened to my description of problem. Had me sign work release. Went to his truck to get electric snake machine. Accommodated my request not to roll it across the new driveway. Snaked and cleared line until he heard water running freely running through it. Asked for garbage bag and bagged refuse from drainpipe. Prepared invoice. I had bought the $44 service coupon on Angieslist the previous night.. Great deal! $44 to snake the line. He put snake back in truck, again avoiding driveway. Thus far pleased with the service and cost and seeing the list of services available from the company on the invoice, I also asked if he could look at a tub diverter for me. I had replaced it recently but it had loosened unexpectedly out of the socket. He removed the diverter handle and basically did all I would have done myself, retightened the diverter stem. This took approximately 5 minutes. I asked what I owed him, expecting he would say "nothing" or even $20, considering the minor issue and effort. His unexpected reply, "$55". I thought he was joking until he asked how I would be paying. I gave him cash, plus a generous $15 tip, but was still floored by how my $44 bargain just disappeared. Remind me to never again ask for an extra service before I know how long it will take and how much it will cost! But, if all you are looking for is a snaked drain, call them.

They quickly located the problem and was able to clean out the clogged drain. They even looked at the bathtub drain to check for any clogs

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I wouldn't use them again. It seemed like they were really in a hurry to get out of here. There wasn't a problem with the price. The bathtub doesn't seem any better. They were late.

He arrived in timely fashion. Looked over the problem and the piping below. He warned me that as the pipes were very old there might be a leakage or breakage problem. He used a large manual snake to reach into the pipe, which had a significant drop to the u-bend where the clog most likely was located. In no time, he had released the clog, with no damage to the pipes. Very clean, very professional. A while back, I paid a plumber several hundred dollars over two visits to correct this problem. They didn't do it. A UnclogU made it look easy, at a very reasonable price.

The serviceman from A Unclog U misdiagnosed the problem. It was just the prongs on the plug. They had to be opened a little so that the plug would stay plugged into the wall. It would just be too heavy and it would fall out off the outlet. That's all it was. A neighbor fixed it for me by just opening the prongs on the plug and it's been working fine ever since. I don't think the serviceman from A Unclog U was a very honest person or I don't think he knew what he was talking about. He came very well dressed, very clean, very neat, and even all dolled up with his gold chains to tell me it would cost $300 to fix the problem but the problem was so minor it was ridiculous. What he stated was incorrect, that was not the problem. He was responded very quickly but I don't have good things to say about this guy because I don't have a good feeling with him. A lair is a lair is a lair. He's a zero to me, just trying to get over on an old lady, a disabled senior at that.
