Description of Work: Brian painted two rooms, put up chair railing and crown molding and re-modeled the top of two built-in corner cabinets. He did an excellent job, encouraged input and did a good job of cleaning up. The cherry on top was the fact that he charged half the price quoted to me by another Angie's List "A" rated contractor.

Description of Work: Forster Construction built me a newd eck, front steps and replaced some trim around my garage door. Their work is first rate. They came when they said they would and always left the work area clean. I will use them again in the future gladly.

+ -1 moreWe ended up going with someone else. He was very nice and gave us a competitive estimate. He was not as willing to work with us on the design of the deck. We were interested in someone that would help with the design. His price was for a no frills battleship deck. He said that if we wanted to work with him, then he would refine the estimate. He said if we decided what we wanted, then he would give us an estimate for that. He came when he said he would come and he was very professional.
Description of Work: We got an estimate from Forster Construction to build a deck.

+ -1 moreSomeone from work suggested him to me--he returned my call right away and came to look at the job. He was unable to put me on the schedule that fall but I was first up in the spring. True to his word he called as the first warm weather arrived and he finished in three days.
Description of Work: He built a huge deck for us. We wanted it to be "eco" friendly for the kids so he suggested cedar. He built the deck on the diagonal to give it more interest. He was easy to work with. He stuck to his quote and was realistic and accurate about when he would start and finish the job.

+ 1 moreIT WAS GOOD. HE WAS HERE WHEN HE SAID HE WAS GOING TO BE HERE. I WAS ABLE TO WORK WITH HIM SO WHAT I WANTED DONE HE DID FOR THE MOST PART. HE DIDN'T DO HIS OWN THING AND I HAD TO LIVE WITH IT. I THINK HE WAS VERY FAIR. HE WAS HERE EVERYDAY WHEN HE SAID HE'D BE HERE AND HE SAID HE'D FINISH THE JOB IN SIX WEEKS. NOBODY BELIEVED HIM BUT HE DID IT.
Description of Work: WE HAD A NEW BATHROOM AND A DEN ADDED. WE HAD AN OLD SCREENED IN PORCH REMOVED AND A NEW ONE ADDED. IT TOOK SIX WEEKS.

+ -1 moreHE'S DEPENDABLE. IF HE SAYS HE'S GOING TO DO SOMETHING, HE'S GOING TO DO IT. THAT'S NOT TRUE OF SOME PEOPLE WE HIRE, THEY LEAVE WITHOUT SAYING. BUT MR. FORESTER IS VERY DEPENDABLE AND HIS WORK IS EXCELLENT. HIS PRICES ARE VERY FAIR.
Description of Work: HE REPLACED TWO BASEMENT WINDOWS. HE HAD TO HAVE THEM SPECIAL ORDERED. AS SOON AS THEY CAME IN, HE DID THE WORK.
