Description of Work: I wanted verification that I had set up a secure wireless network, having purchased a new adapter, router, printer, etc. over the holidays. I also had some annoying issues with my computer that I wanted cleared up and, not being very up-to-date with smart-phone technology, I asked that my phone be set up to receive e-mail and to connect to the Internet. I was impressed by this polite young man. He accomplished everything I asked in less than 45 minutes. He knows his stuff.

Description of Work: This is the second time that I used Techease. I found them through Angies List. The first time, a year or so ago, he added memory to my Pc. This time, he set up a new PC, moved all of the data from the old one, added programs, etc. Jason Luft, the owner, is extraordinarily professional, knowledgeable, and helpful, and his charges are eminently fair. I have been VERY pleased with him.

Jason Luft, the tech consultant, was reachable on the phone, had evening hours,arrived promptly, was courteous and professional, and spent the time helping me restore my computer. He even offered to printout a receipt. He is highly recommendable.

Description of Work: I had a computer repair person come in January to fix my computer. This was before I joined Angie's List. He spent an hour cleaning up my C drive. He couldn't retrieve my word pad program and lost my solitaire game.He left. In March, the problem recurred. Now a member of Angie's List, I called Jason. He came when he said he would and spent 2 1/2 hours working on my computer. He again cleaned up my C drive and changed the default so that it wouldn't fill up again. He got me a new word processing program. He got the computer to sync my Zune which it had refused to do. He downloaded Microsoft's latest antiviral program apparently in the nick of time considering the new worm which was supposed to launch today, April 1st. Jason is a very pleasant young man and really seems to know his business.

Description of Work: My wireless router wasn't working, and I couldn't connect to the internet. Also, my wireless, voice-over-internet, Vonage phone would hijack/break my wireless internet connection every time I talked on the phone. Jason fixed the router problem and diagnosed the phone-breaking-internet-connection problem. The second problem is a hardware problem, and he told me exactly what new equipment I'll need to buy (not too expensive or complicated) to solve the problem.
