Steven, the owner did not even show up at the job start. One of these men started cutting our driveway without going over the plans and cut more driveway away than was necessary . While they were well into the project of building the steps Steven(owner) wanted to know how many steps I wanted. That was discussed and determined previously. This was a confidence breaker! Contractor ended up doing edge work with stones that were very shiny, all the rest of the stonework was a dull finish as requested. When asked about this, I was told "it looks better and you'll like it". This is not what I asked for! But a lot of work went into this and I did not make them tear of the stones up and replace them. The stones on the sides of the steps simply hung off the edges and we're not properly supported. When I asked for that to be corrected they simply packed cement underneath the steps which is now being hidden by flowerpots because it is ugly. It took numerous phone calls over a period of months for them to return to do some small simple warranty work that they agreed should be done. This was not a case of nitpicking and Steven's mom was always good about apologizing and promising that they would be in touch to schedule the repairs. One of the steps had a large stone that popped loose and was an obvious concern for fear of someone having an accident. I understand that this may have been a design flaw in the way the stones were supposed to be anchored. After the second stone popped loose and numerous calls (again over months), there was never an attempt to schedule this repair. I just got more apologies over the phone and promises that never lead to anything. Steven sat at our kitchen table and assured us that his workmanship was guaranteed "as long as his company was in business". His company did not live up to that promise as it is only been two years since the installation. We will never be in contact with that company again! Currently seeking another good contractor in orange county to take care of this repair as well as other paver work that this company will not be considered for.

HAD NO PLAN WHEN WORKMEN CAME. JUST STARTED CUTTING UP DRIVEWAY WITH A PRINT OR LAYOUT TO USE. THEN THEY ASKED ME IF I WANTED 1 STEP OR 2 LEADING TO MY DOOR, WHICH WAS ALREADY DETERMINED. STEPS CONTINUE TO COME LOOSE. THE OWNER STEVE SAID THEY WOULD TAKE GOOD CARE OF US IF WARRANTIES WERE NEEDED. THEY NEVER RETURNED PHONE CALLS FOR LEGITAMITE WARRANTY CONCERNS. THE MOTHER WOULD SAY, “WE WILL TAKE CARE OF IT”, BUT THE NEVER DID. ANOTHER CONTRACTOR HIRED TO DO ADDITIONAL STONE WORK HAS SINCE DONE REPAIRS. THEY TOLD ME TO EXPECT MORE OF THE STONES TO COME LOOSE AS WAGNER USED THE WRONG ADHESIVE.

During the course of snow removal, Wagner Landscaping snow removal equipment damaged portions of our storage buildings, including the siding, door, stop sign,, catch basins, fencing and bollards for a total cost of $2,977.89. After I noticed the damages, I took pictures and sent them to his email and they acknowledged receipt of same. After numerous phone calls and voice mails left on the owner's (Steven Wagner) cell phone of which none were returned , I finally reached Marlene in the Wagner Landscaping office and asked her to set up a meeeting with Mr,. Wagner. and myself. , In early February Steve Wagner and I had a meeting where he stated that he admitted to all damages and he would take care of the fence and bollard repairs and reinburse me for all other repairs. March 23, 2013, I sent Mr. Wagner a detailed letter complete with all invoices and estimates for the repairs and asked that he contact me for a final resolution. I gave him the opportunity to use his fencing contractor, and was told by Marlene, that they have estimates to repair the bollards and fence, since I never heard back from Mr. Wagner or his associate Marlene, I hired contractors and got all of the damage repaired and sent him the invoices for reinbursment. As Mr. Wagner stated in our meeting, "just hold on to my invoices and we will settle at the end of this process" *** Never heard or seen him Again ""
