The scheduling for the job was very pleasant. I received a call even earlier than scheduled because there was a time slot that opened up. That was greatly appreciated. The electrician was extremely professional. He showed up exactly on time, he explained everything that he had to do, he worked very efficiently, and he stuck to the amount of time/price provided in the estimate. There were no surprises. Additionally, he left the area as he found it, clean and tidy. I was nervous about picking an electrical company because I had no experience with companies in this area. They always came on time. Any changes with the schedule they would call, and they called and confirmed every day they were scheduled. Darwin did most of the work. He was extremely professional at my house clean and had a great attitude about any items I wanted to add or change. Darwin is the best!!

Joe Spirelli was exceptionally punctual, knowledgeable and professional in all phases of the project: his initial appointment visit to my home to assess my service upgrade requirements, his recommendations of the best solutions, and then the commencement and completion once awarded the job. He responded quickly with a cost estimate for the job (more than competitive with other estimates obtained) and with answers to all my related followup questions. Once work was begun on the mutually agreed-upon date, the Spirelli three-man electrician crew arrived punctually at 8:30 a.m. as promised and then worked diligently and amiably to finish the job that afternoon. During the project execution, Joe again arrived on the scene to oversee the work progress and address any concerns. Throughout, everyone continued to be most responsive to all questions and comments and, from my perspective, I felt that they neither cut any corners nor took any shortcuts in performing very high-quality work to the agreed-upon specifications. Upon job completion, they meticulously cleaned the work area, removing all related debris. Before, during and after the project, Spirelli handled all contacts and paperwork re the ConEd/building code inspection requirements. The job was executed at exactly the agreed-upon price. (Note: A homeowner can avoid sales tax on qualifying work by completing and providing Spirelli with a NYS Form ST-124 Certificate of Capital Improvement, available online or from the Company.) Altogether, from office staff to management to project crew, everyone provided top-notch customer service and job execution. I would rate Spirelli Electric as a PERFECT vendor experience -- A+++

It went very well and most of all Spirelli was very understanding to our problems and provided a one day all hands on deck solution to our problem. I would certainly engage their services again. Justin the lead contact was exceptional and very professional.

I called for service and was happy they could come today. Called back 30 mins later to ask if i was home as they had a change in their schedule and could come now. I knew what the problem was and Justin confirmed and replaced the switch quickly.

justin was great. he came out for around 8 hours worth of work and worked diligently the entire time. he was professional, courteous, and helpful, answering every question we had. he checked over all of the electric throughout the house and made sure everything was in working order and up to code. he also helped us mount two tv's on the walls, and hide all of the wires behind the walls. he saved off a live wire in the basement, added two new outlets in the basement, and fixed a number of other light fixtures and receptacles throughout the house. perhaps the most important thing to us was that justin never tried to upsell us on anything. we are grateful for his help, and would HIGHLY recommend spirelli electric to anyone who might need their services. we contacted 3 different electricians in the area to get estimates from before we did any work, and by far, spirelli electric was the least expensive, and, had the best customer service. we'll be hiring them again soon to put an interlock on our panel for a generator. it's good to have an honest reliable and knowledgeable electrician that you can count on.

Jeff was very professional, careful with details and considerate. When he found that our original light fixture was attached to a fitting that was incorrectly installed and not secure, he took the time to repair the problem properly. He also did his utmost to make sure that our electric wood splitter would work without shorting out the outlet as before. He actually split logs for 15 minutes in order to check it thoroughly! We have used Spirelli several times and we have total confidence in them.

This was a result of another job that was going on at the time. Another company was working on some water damage and some dangerous wiring was exposed from a second-story ceiling collapse. He had to come out twice for the same issue as the other company exposed the wiring. It was an incredibly dangerous situation, and Joe handled it quickly and skillfully. He was knowledgeable, fun, and kind. There is a lot to be said for a family business, and that shone through with the love and warmth expressed by him. I trust him implicitly, and I will be using them to re-wire the home. The level of safety and comfort provided by him just through this minor interaction was incredible, and he refused to charge me for disconnecting the wires because of the safety concerns. I will also be bringing him to my home to do some additional electrical work. AMAZING!!!!

It went great. I got what I expected at the quoted price. Jeff was very accommodating as my friend was late to let him inside and he was totally cool. Already referred him to a neighbor and will be my go-to guy for electrical work. Very satisfied.

Justin and Chris effectively coordinated the project with our central air installer. They were punctual and very focused, clearly explained their work and finished the project according to the indicated schedule. Our central air installer was very impressed with their work. This is the third project Justin did for us. My husband and I will continue to use Spirelli Electric and Justin in our future projects.

This review is focused on the first appearance of Justin from Joe Spirelli at our home, but we've since had him back twice to do other, more extensive work, and our experience is very positive. The thing I appreciate most is Justin's (and Joe, who I spoke with on the phone) honesty, and while Spirelli may not be the cheapest, they do quality work, and Justin is efficient at what he does, so we probably ended up saving money thanks to the fact that time wasn't wasted (esp. when charging by the hour). Also, Spirelli listened carefully to our needs and budgetary limitations and advised us on how to save money by (a) demolishing part of the existing panel area ourselves to accommodate the larger, updated service so we wouldn't be charged for all their would-be demo time and (b) not upgrading needlessly to a higher-capacity service when our small house and electricity usage doesn't require it. Before and after the work, Justin consulted with us (with a free visit or two) extensively regarding how we could feed lines and slowly update the outdated electrical wiring in the rest of the house without breaking the bank. And I also appreciate how they didn't needlessly scare or pressure us into doing all of these needed updates at once, advising us on how repairs and renovations to individual rooms (such as the kitchen) would provide convenient and cheap opportunities to have wiring work done.

Jeff was really great! He was very polite, informative and professional. He explained why we were having problems with our generator - a separate issue - and got it to work! I've been looking for a good, dependable electrician for a long time and I am happy to have finally found one!

Kevin, the electrician, was very professional and was able to provide us with the correct types of fixtures we needed to buy. He also went out of his way to pick up certain harder to find fixtures. He saw the projects through from beginning to end.

Reps I spoke to over the phone to set up the service were very efficient and courteous. I asked to be emailed with a picture of some candidate utility light fixtures, which was provided quickly and with no fuss at all. Service tech was fairly prompt, and called ahead to notify me of a small delay in timing. He was very courteous, respectful and helpful. I asked numerous questions about the work being done and the additional work I proposed, and he was very responsive and forthcoming with all the detail I needed. For the actual work, he was quick and skillful, and did a high-quality job. These were straightforward tasks, but I won't hesitate to use them again for more significant work.

Their electrician, Jeff , was very courteous and neat . He is a skilled electrician , and did an excellent job. We will not hesitate to use him again , and recommend them highly.

Our electrician, Justin, showed up on time, explained everything very well and did an excellent work. We have a few more projects lined up, in which he explained to us clearly what needs to be done. Given the fact that we just moved into this house and had a few of unpleasant experiences with service providers, he definitely a breath of fresh air.

Great local business! I called and Joe gave me a detailed explanation of what they do and how their pricing structure works. Jeff, the electrician sent to my house, was prompt, very professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He completed the job well within the timeframe he estimated, and I found the cost to be very fair. They are local, and seem to really understand how important their credibility is so they treat customers very well. Highly recommended, and I will not call another electrician!
