I call regarding an occasional small leak from one corner of a skylight...a few drops in heavy rain. John comes to see and lays out his plan. $2600 for patch of our roof around all the skylights, sealing, etc and $600 for gutter guards. It looks like a bad patch job from the street, the shingles do not match the roof and sloppy silicone seen from street. The next rain, more water is dripping in more than ever, we need a bucket or two. He comes over and does some more repairs. The next rain, water is pouring in all over the place and we needed buckets everywhere, and much more damage to ceiling, bay window is sagging. He said 2 year guarantee. He says let me come again to see what is wrong....meanwhile with two repairs, a small and occasional leak became a disaster after his work.......what would you do? Do not make the same mistake and hire this company!

Received a call from the John on 11/20 and scheduled a home visit for 11/24 at 8am. Woke up early to get ready and no one ever showed or called. I then called the company on 9am and spoke with John. He proceeded to tell me that they get a lot of fake appointments and that’s why they never showed. I asked then why he did not confirm our appointment two days or even the day before and he had no answer. He said that he could then be at my house at 11:30 am and I advised him to not bother and that I was going to write the review.

First NOTE - John called me within an hour after I used Angie's List to look up skylight repair companies. If you call him he calls you back almost immediately or within a very reasonable time, ... something most other roofers I've dealt with rarely do. Also after I showed him the leaky skylight he explained to me what needed work and why [he also found a leak that I had not spotted near the chimney] and wrote up a detailed proposal that clearly showed all the work to be done. Second NOTE- John and his crew were very professional, polite, and hard working. They arrived when scheduled and immediately began work. A day or two later we had a good rain and NO LEAKS! I have even had compliments from friends on how good the new skylight & flashing looks. Third NOTE - the price for the work was reasonable based on past experience with skylight replacement at another house. Final NOTE - I am VERY pleased with John and his crew from King Siding and Gutters, Inc. and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who needs quality work at a fair price.
