+ -1 moreSeemed ok although the workmen did not extract a large amount of soot. 3 months later there is soot ALL over my basement because the pipes were not cleaned thoroughly. We gave him a chance to call us back and rectify this but he is avoiding our call. Now we must hire another company to fix his mess. !!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

+ -1 moreI called Billy G for an estimate. Billy told me that I shouldn't install a big unit to cool my house because the air duct system would not be able to distribute the air. He said it system would choke and cause the water lines to of from the air handler to freeze. I have had some experience with this sort of problem in the past in a different residence. However, I was not entirely sure this was the case. My wife likes likes a cold house so I couldn't afford to have anything but the best. So I got estimates and recommendations from two other HVAC experts. Neither one mentioned that the lines could freeze. I decided to trust BillyG. He installed a smaller unit and did extra work to tidy up leaking air ducts etc. Since then, we have had a home that is plenty comfortable and cool. Very professional. No complaints. Once I had to call them for a minor concern and he showed up that day. I was impresses with his quick response. Over all I give Billy G an excellent review and highly recommend calling them if you want a truly knowledgeable and talented professional at an honest price.

+ -1 moreWe first contacted Billy G last winter when our gas heating system went out on one of the coldest days of the year. A service man responded within a short period of time and fixed the problem. Price was reasonable. We were so pleased that we signed up for a yearly service contract for both heat and air conditioning systems. Again price was reasonable. I made an appointment in September for a pre-winter heating checkup and service man appeared on time, was polite and professional.
Description of Work: Checked out heating system. I signed up for a service contract after a service call last winter.

+ 0 moreThe entire job went very well..........the two young men arrived a little late but explained the reason and went directly to work.....they worked quietly and carefully for the 5 hrs they were here........... the job was challenging and required attention to detail and careful measuring to get it right.........................they managed all the details very well and the finished job was most satisfactory............they were very polite and explained what they were doing .........................they were neat and cleaned up completely before leaving.............
Description of Work: Billy G's men installed the needed piping from the site of a National Grid gas line at the side of my house to a fireplace that was being converted from a wood burning fireplace to a gas operated one.............. this was quite extensive due to the type and location of my home..............

Description of Work: Billy G's installed a gas heating system into our home. They were punctual, clean, and did an excellent plumbing job. They brought my hot water heater ip to code even though it was not part of the job. They even notified us of an addition rebate they found and started the paperwork for us. Overall I was very happy with the job.

+ -1 more15+ years old oil burner cracked and I was just going to replace it with another oil burner. The sale person from oil company have such a bad attitude that I decided to go with Natural Gas(after much research of course). Simply put Billy and crew are awesome to work with. His team basically took care of everything for the conversion process. I didn't have to lift a finger. Billy G himself show up to go over the options for estimated; he didn't tried to up sale. Took the time to explain everything in a clear and understandable manner. His price was not the cheapest but it's very competitive and I do believe you get what you paid for. The actual installation took about the whole day with a crew of 3 person team. They leave the place tidier than they found it. Works perform in a nut shell: Remove old heating equipment: broken oil burner electric water heater oil tank Install new Burham es24 with Outdoor Reset unit and indirect water heater.

+ -1 moreI was very satisfied with Billy G'S service, from the phone call I initially placed to them, the prompt, professional, honest service that was performed, and the reasonable price that I was charged.
Description of Work: I called Billy G'S to come and evaluate my home's central air conditioning system. I told them that a service man from another local air-conditioning service company had been to my house a few days earlier and that he told my wife and I that my system was out of Freon, and that the air handler was leaking and needed to be replaced at a cost of $3,180. I asked Billy to please check out my system and to tell me what he would charge to fix it. Mr. Bill Gessner and his son Jr. showed up promptly on the time that they said they would be there and proceeded to check out my system. First they put a set of gauges on the compressor located outside, and told me that the system was full and that it was reading normal pressures (high and low side) for my unit. They checked the Air Handler, located in the attic, and also performed a leak test detection with a water and soap solution. They found nothing wrong. They checked all of the fittings on the compressor and the air handler, and made sure that all were tight. I told them about the other serviceman and they could not understand why he said that my system was out of freon, and that it need a new air-handler. They stayed for awhile longer checking and re-checking to assure that my system was okay. They were knowledgeable, courteous, and honest professionals. I paid them for their service and thanked them again for their promptness, and their honesty. I will call them again next year for my annual check-up, or when my system needs service.
