Best Choice Roofing and Chimney, Inc.

Complaint: Thank you, for assisting me in finding a roofing and chimney repair co. However, I was disappointed by the time the 2 workers left. When they came, they went up on the roof, evaluated the situation and quoted the price of $285. When they finished the job, one of the workers was holding a metal cylinder in his hand and told me the cylinder should be replaced and would charge me and additional 50. I said no, he pressured me and said he would charge me 25.00.When I again said no, he said he would charge the whole job for $300. By this time I was so frustrated and infuriated, I told him to just finish the job, with the replaced cylinder for 300.00. I'm not a roofer so I hope he replaced the cylinder with a new one. I would never recommend this company. I feel I was pressured to purchase a product that was not quoted in the original price.

I am not sure if the job was quality work or what to expect when I turn my fireplace on because they took 2 minutes I didn't even get a chance to open the door and see what was going on before it was finished so I wasn't happy about that. I don't know what it takes to clean/ chimney sweep but they were gone in the blink of an eye

Very quick to respond and provide an estimate. I like that it is a family owned business. They will be coming back to ensure that the leaks have been cared for. Unfortunately, there is still slight leaking around the area that was repaired. Overall though, pleased with the customer service.

Quick service. Less expensive than other quotes. Cleaned up after repair. Suggested, but did not force necessary repairs. Free estimate a plus.

They didn't try to sell me a complete roof. They could repair where the leaks were coming in. The two other companies that came by for estimates tried to sell a new roofing job. My roof was only 3 &1/2 years old. I knew I didn't need a new one. They came at the time they said they would be here.

Work was done quickly and efficientloy. Quite knowledgable.

Scrapped stone plinth and I had to clean it up.

I used them on a previous project, not gutter cleaning, and they performed excellent work on those tasks.

They came on time and were very efficient in removing the screens from the gutters, removing "the plants" from the gutters and flushing them clean.

I got an estimate from Expressway Roofing. They told me the facia boards were rotted and needed to be replaced. $900 to replace facia and remount existing gutter on from of house. Best Choice looked and said facia boards are fine!! $180 to rehang the gutter and clean all gutters out. I had my dad come look. Dad got up on a ladder at age 79 and said the facia boards are intact, no rot and looked perfect, just as Eddie from Best Choice said!! Now obviously I am not letting my father fix this due to his age but he felt I was getting ripped off! Eddie from Bedt Choice did the work, hung my gutter back up, cleaned out all gutters and did a fabulous job without ripping me off!! 5 stars to Best Choice!!
