I was hoping to get an energy audit with Knoth Plumbing. After they canceled our first long-scheduled appointment at the last minute, they showed up and did the energy audit in April 2019. Despite many emails and calls requesting the audit over the past seven months, they have yet to deliver the report. I even contacted New York State (which funded the report). They don't answer their phone or respond to emails. Very poor customer service. I highly recommended you avoid this company.

His price is comparable, he isn't cheap but he isn't high either. I was happy with the results, I don't have any complaints. I would use this provider again in the future.

I noticed our water heater was falling through the floor and panicked. I called Knoth plumbing and heating asap and Gene came right over (within the hour) by the next day all the work was preformed. New water heater, plumbing and new floor thanks to Knoth Heating and Mechanical.

Moving the oil furnace several feet and installing new piping to connect with the wood boiler and its overheat fan went smoothly. The accompanying electrical wiring, connecting the wood boiler, the overheat fan, the oil furnace, and the wall exhaust vent, proved more troublesome, and added a couple of days to the work. At Christmas, in the first week of operation, a pex pipe burst between the wood boiler and the oil furnace. The following day Knoth replaced much of the pex piping with copper piping. I believe it was the first time Gene Knoth and his crew installed this type of wood boiler. While the task at times proved exasperating, with a couple of mishaps, his work in the end was solid and has lasted through five heating seasons without further expert attention. Gene is pleasant to work with, knowledgeable and helpful --- during a three-day power outage that fall he lent us a portable generator.

I called him because I was having problems with the drainage in my bathroom and kitchen. He came out and even plowed my driveway to be able to get to me. He is a craftsman and very conscious to detail. He is very knowledgeable and works with a variety of plumbing systems and uses quality equipment. He goes the extra distance to make sure his customer's jobs are done right and never leaves.
