Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Description of Work: i got an estimate - the rep was on time, polite and the cost was reasonable though eventually i hired a solo - independent plumber instead.

Description of Work: Had a leak in outside patio and we didn't know where it was coming from. I had a plumber come in and check it out. We thought it was coming from the laundry room. The plumber found no leaks coming from the washing machine and never charged me because he didn't have to do any work. However the problem persisted. I called Roto-Rooter. They came in and charged me $1000 and said they could take care of it. The worker sat on my kitchen floor for 5 and a half hours ripping everything out. I thought the problem had been fixed, because there was no longer leakage in the patio. A week later when I washed clothes everything was backing up into my kitchen sink. They denied they did anything wrong, and claimed I had always had this problem. I had not ever had this problem before. Somehow they mixed up the pipes, so now there's water backing up into places they're not supposed to. They refuse to do anything about it. They won't answer my call anymore.

Description of Work: We had a loose faucet plus a disconnected pipe below our kitchen sink. The gentleman who came quickly resolved the pipe issue by reconnecting it. As far as the loose faucet, I told him it was the second time the part malfunctioned. He got on the phone with Moen and got us a whole brand new faucet set!! We also had a loose handle on our toilet. He saved us money by telling us what part to get and how to fix it. It was an easy repair we could do ourselves. Otherwise, he would have had to go get the part and install it for a lot more money. |I would definitely recommend Rotor Rooter and I will use them again. The gentleman who came was wonderful!

Description of Work: They did major reconfiguration of our plumbing (redirected outflow to a an old-fashioned gray water system to our septic system and added a pump to a sink the received input from our washing machine). They were prompt helpful and courteous. A problem did develop, but when we contacted them they returned very promptly, fixed the problem and showed us how to prevent it in the future. |
