After numerous unsuccessful attempts with unprofessional roofers, there came Universal Roofing and Chimney to the rescue. He arrived same day, assessed the situation and fixed the roof just prior to a major storm. No more damage to my walls. Totally impressed and recommend to others.

5 years ago Universal got the job replacing my roof because they acted like professionals, I visited other jobs they did and spoke with their references. They did an A+ job. Last year I recommended them to a client who needed her masonry chimney replaced and her masonry front stoop repaired. They gave her a great price and jumped right on the job. They did a beautiful job for her. Today a concrete truck hooked my cablevision wires over the street and tore them out of my house along with the siding. I called Artie and he was here an hour later. Instead of giving me an estimate he climbed the ladder and managed to get my siding back in place. He refused to charge me or even take a little something for coffee. These are great people to do business with.

I used him in 2016 for a roof job and siding. I only wanted the front siding done. I was not working at the time so he was paid for that whole job. He said he could not hang the gutters and leders back on so the sides of the house and the back needed to be done with siding. My mother ok'd it. They tore it all down and were halfway done before 3 days later I signed the contract to finance this part. He knew I had no job and said do not worry for payment. I later found out the roof is not completely under warranty unless you pay a couple hundred dollars more for a certificate and the siding on the front is coming off my house but, he refuses to fix it unless he is completely paid. I was also promised gutter guards and another set of shutters which he never gave me and made a couple of original payments of the contract. He wanted to do the garage doors and said he would give it to me once I come up with more money for that he will come back. I was unemployed and used my severance pay for all I had so now he is sueing me for non-payment but, he never finished the job and the siding was not done correctly which that part was paid for. The roof was done great! The siding is not.... I had tried calling him and the office girl fought with me and hung up on me. When I called back she put the tape on.
