The service manager Tim, is responsive, knowledgable, and has been with the company a long time. Although the installation of the split level AC units resulted in problems due to the low level subcontractors utilized for the installation, (and since have been released); The company stood by their work and went above and beyond to honor their commitment to quality. At the end of the day they have been responsive and fixed the issues.

This has been a nightmare since installation in May of 2017. After paying $9,000 here is the summary of how it went. The company uses subcontractors who quite literally took 14 hours on what should have been a 6 hour job. Multiple people on sight and they did not know what they were doing. They broke my basement window, damaged the outside gutter, left the puron hose hanging halfway down in my basement, Left a complete mess, and worse; damaged the compressor on installation only to find out that it is leaking Puron (cooling agent). Now, (one year later) I am struggling to get prioritized on their schedule to correct the situation. Eventually I am sure they will fix it.. but this has been a nightmare and I expect better service and professionalism for paying $9,000, On the plus side, the ladies on the phone are very nice.

They are excellent and are very responsive. I would definitely use them again.

Was a very involved two man job and took all day. Work was neat and they cleaned up afterward.

it didnt go. I wont use suppliers who wouldnt answer direct questions on their fancy website, and once they had me on the phone were rude and unapologetic about wasting my time

Reached out to Universe, had a few emails and a promise I would be called. I waited three days with no call so I went elsewhere.

The work was performed by a seasoned professional technician. He diagnosed the problem immediately, advised me of my options for repair and the cost. The repair was completed in less than an hour including checking the operation of my furnace and setting the limits and safeties for maximum efficiency.

The were very professional and did a good job. The work was done as scheduled . A supervisor visited to make sure things were going to my expectation , a good practice to have. After install , I had a minor issue and Universe responded quickly and addressed the problem .

They were awesome. They were efficient and quick. They answered all my questions. We had an issue and they came back and fixed it.

I let them know I had the part that came off and they said they had to sell me their part. She said it would cost $110 just to come to the door. She also said I would have to buy a whole new part. She called me back and said it would have been $250. I suggest going through all of them to get quotes.

I don't recall the price, but I must have been okay with it. He was courteous. It was fine. He cleaned up after himself. The work was as promised.

The guy came from Universe and it was about 5pm he seemed like he was in a hurry to go home he did not even put hands on the system 20 minutes into the conversation. i asked what could be done to reorganize the drainage system so as to better accommodate the washer he told me it would be between $800 to $1000 to move the pipes 6" around he then proceeded to call a more experienced guy who seemed caring and asked him to take pictures and get my number so he could have a look at it himself and would get back to me that was almost 2 months ago. I felt like he did'nt want to help me solve the problem i had going on felt like that last job at the end of the day when someone is at the end of their patients.

Job went well, they explained and reviewed everything with me so I understood exactly what was needed. They didn't do a fantastic job cleaning up afterward, and should have got me when testing things, but they worked hard all day, and the job came out well.

Overall, everything went great. A little gaffe at first though. They did not previously come to inspect the site in advance of the installation date, so when they arrived, the heater they brought was too larger for the space. They ordered a new one and came back to install within a few days. The installation itself was very smooth and the men were very courteous.

Jay stayed for 2 hours. Job was explained and options given. He did the work as specified. Working well so far.

Technician arrived promptly on a weekend at night in bad weather. He was punctual, professional and knowledgeable. Universe can always be counted on to provide excellent service, including for emergency calls. It is a very reliable company that can be trusted.

They are very reliable. When you call them they are there. They are good to come the same or next day when you need them. The price is a little high. But their responsibility is great when taking care of things. There is one thing with the company that bothers me though, the sales guy made promises that he didn't uphold. Their quality is good, they always do a neat job.

They did a magnificent job. You couldn't tell anything was touched. It was really beautiful on the outside. Thought the price was a little high. They stand behind everything.

I have to say that the prompt, courteous, professional & VERY reasonably priced service provided was beyond my wildest expectations! My washer broked down late Friday afternoon, with a full load of wet clothes! Imagine my surprise when EVERY applicance repair company I could find only worked Monday through Friday from 9 to 5?!?! And, even though it was BEFORE 5pm, no answer. So I baled out my washer, wrung out my wet clothes and continued to make calls. By Saturday morning I was pretty frustrated, when I saw a commercial for Angie's List and figured "why noT?" So I signed up, did my search, and found Universe! Not only did they work on Saturday, but a human actually answered the phone!! They said they could have a repair person at my home between 2 and 5, quoted the cost (which was outstanding!), the appointment was made and I proceeded to wait. Low and behold, my doorbell rang at 3pm & there stood Benny! Needless to say, I was pretty much speechless. He listened to my story, went and checked out my machine, diagnosed the problem instantly, and repaired it perfectly! Benny was one of the nicest & most professional service people I have ever dealt with and Universe has a customer for life! "Good Service" has to be one of the most difficult things to find... but not if you call Universe!!

I think I had an annual maintenance agreement with them. After that was finished, I decided that I didn't need a maintenance agreement. They're very reputable. They're one of the top company in the area. They're usually on time.
