Did a great job was quick and good

Just to hock up the Gas appliance and not even 20 minutes, I have to pay $190.05 was a bit expensive. No parts invalid. Some of the listed company even more expensive but don't want to name the company.

The reason I called was an electrical outlet stopped working. I did some basic troubleshooting and it was a 110v outlet jumped from a 220v outlet. I'm not comfortable working with 220v so I called Universal. Steve the electrician arrived before schedule, spent time troubleshooting the problem, explained the problem to me, and gave me a written estimate for the resolution. I asked specifically for him to do the work to fix it. He arrived on time, ran a new wire and although it was necessary to open the plaster walls, he minimized the damage. Overall I'm very happy with the work and would hire them Universal and Steve again.

I called them for my frigidaire electric range which has 4 total elements. The rear 2 (small) elements have not been working for a few weeks now. I gave them my range model number over the phone while making an appointment. The electrician who can over charged $97 for a diagnostic, which took him 2 mins. The diagnostic included asking us what was wrong with the range and opening the oven door for the model number. That is it. He told us that the repair would be in the $500 to $600 ballpark. I simply feel that this could have been done a little more professionally. I felt robbed. The electrician appeared to not care and it is as if he knew he came to collect his fee and leave right away. Never again. I will buy a new Range instead.

Very expensive. Spent 15 minutes replacing a $30 door latch switch and charged me $347. Vague estimate. Will not recommend.

I hired Universe Home Services to repair a 6 year old Maytag Washer Unfortunately the diagnosis was DOA an I was advised that it was not worth the cost to repair it and I purchased a new machine

I also posted my remarks on the Better Business Bureau site. This company was the ONLY one which responded and repaired my gas oven. Nick, the workman, was very professional and courteous.

The service was excellent. The guys were neat and clean and I hired this company to do more extensive plumbing work.

It took the service tech 15 minutes to correct the problem and they charged 680.00 plus tax. Crooks.

They are professional and polite. Very reliable and efficient. Used them to repair upstairs plumbing and boiler. They are a bit pricey but produce excellent results.
