Response from Dan Farley & Son Construction
August 19, 2015 Upon seeing the review written by Mr. [Member Name Removed], I searched my office for a roof job he said was completed on June 17th, 2012. I did not find a file or a contract for this job. I then sent the following letter to Mr. [Member Name Removed] on July 30, 2015: Mr. [Member Name Removed], My office alerted me to a negative review on Angie’s List. My records show no work completed on your house. Could you provide me with a copy of our contract with you? I warranty my work, and have done so for thirty (30) years – If we worked on your home in 2012 and there is a problem with our work, I will do everything possible to rectify those problems and satisfy you as our valued customer. With Respect, Dan Farley I never received a reply from Mr. [Member Name Removed]. I drove to his house. I did not recognize his neighborhood, I did not recognize his street, I did not recognize his house, and I did not recognize him. I asked him for a contract showing we did work there. He said the roof was actually done in 2000, and that he had no contract available to show me. I found no contract in my office for a roof job at his property in 2000. The problem with customer/contractor websites are that you can be accused , lied about and slandered without proof, and then what can you do about it?! Oh well, I’m going back to work now!
