Description of Work: Kitchen faucet was replaced. After technician left home, I realized that hot water was not performing properly. I telephoned Farrell Bros. and the technician returned and corrected the problem immediately--this fix required another new faucet be installed. Faucet works perfectly now.

Description of Work: Had broken drain in basement, was main line outside to sewer. I needed prompt service and they showed up quick and fixed it that day. I've had other experiences with small one-man plumbing outfits who may or may not show up when you need them but these guys were prompt. They replaced the broken portion of the old iron drain pipe with pex and it seems to work find. Only quibble was they were a bit pricey, they charged for snaking the sewer pipe which actually went very quickly and smoothly and I feel the cost for that was a bit high. But considering the circumstances and their promptness I can't really complain and would use them again in a similar situation.

Description of Work: The actual date of service was Nov.19, 2010. I was unable to enter a date earlier than 2011 on the above question form. My receipt stated that I had their service agreement renewed until 11/17/2011. I never had them come back after my very unhappy experience with their service visit in 2010. On their first service visit they sent a technician who replaced the motor in the central unit because I had no heat at a cost of $454.00 for the motor with no results. He acted puzzled because the motor replacement did not solve the problem. He called his office and they sent a more experienced technician to my home. After he tested my unit, he told the less experienced technician that it was not the motor that was the problem, but it was my Circuit Board which was replaced at a cost of $346.00 a day later by the technician which solved the problem. I was never reimbursed for the cost of the motor that was not needed.

Description of Work: Removed old heating system and replaced it with a new Lennx HVAC unit. |They arrived on time and completed the job within one day. Also gave us an extensive primer on how to operate the unit, including the humidifier and programmable thermostat.

Description of Work: We have a service contract for our hvac systems. They are improving their punctuality, which has been a problem in the past. The technician was experienced and performed the ac service quickly and efficiently.

Description of Work: They gave me a quotation on new HVAC home system. Price was $1400 above others and they quoted wrong size furnace and did not quote the specific a/c I wanted. When confronted, they said the wrong size was an error (in their favor of course).
