Vic explained how the installation would happen, answering any questions I had to my satisfaction. The install occurred over a two day period, when I was still out of town. When I arrived to move in, I was very happy to see how great everything looked! This company does top quality work at a very fair price. I would definitely use them again!

Removed old carpet and pad, checked sub-floor and removed all dirt and old staples, used new tack strips and only then installed the new pad and carpet. Needed 2 seams because size of room and absolutely cannot see them. Have recommended them to many friends and neighbors. You can buy carpet anywhere, but it is the installation that matters and they have their own installers. They DO NOT contract out installation. Could not have been happier.

The gentlemen used truck mounted cleaning equipment, providing powerful, deep cleaning. We had moved the smaller pieces of furniture (lamps, end tables, etc.) out into the garage so that they only had to move the sofa, love seat and dining table when cleaning the living room and dining room. I've found this to make their job go faster as they don't have to move these smaller pieces. The stairs to the upper floor were in the worst shape of any of the carpeted areas, but when they were finished cleaning, the carpet on the stairs were dirt and stain free, almost like new. They were also careful to warn us about walking on the just cleaned carpet onto a tiled floor, so that we didn't slip. Before they started work, we did a walk through of the house, indicating any areas of special need, all of which were cleaned to my satisfaction. They provided an estimate of the cost, as well as of the time required to finish the job. Very professional job.

After a portable air conditioner completely saturated a large hand hooked area rug, I thought it was ruined. I put fans on it trying to dry it out but it had already began to smell like mildew. I contacted Carbone carpets and they said they would be available to come pick up my rug in just an hour or so. They do charge for pick up and delivery. I ended up calling them back because I was able to get it into the car and they are so close to my home. When I pulled up, someone came out and took the rug out of my car immediately and carried it in for me..i didn't even have to ask! I have never had this rug professionally cleaned before and it sees a lot of traffic..kids, dogs, holiday tables packed with family and food. They said it would take a couple weeks and I honestly didn't keep track of the time. I can say when I did get my rug back it was so clean it looked brand new. The pile on it was gorgeous, and it was so clean that I dropped off my livingroom area rug to be cleaned as well. I did not compare any rug cleaning prices before hand. They are in my neighborhood so I chose them. This was an expensive rug, made to last decades, so it was money well spent and a job well done.
