LAWTON CONSTRUCTION SHOP

The first time I used Chris Lawton was 2010 when he built a rather long, winding sidewalk going from my driveway in front of my garage, around the garage to the front of the house and branching off to my side door on some very uneven ground requiring considerable site preparation. He did a great job, the work was beautiful even after 4 years. He brought in many loads of dirt to level things up and seeded when done. In 2012 I had him put in roughly 200' of drain tile line to remove water that would seep out of the hill behind my house and just sit there making the ground near the house forever soggy. He did everything just as I asked and it worked great. He is often busy and you may have to wait a few weeks for him to get to you but he comes right away for estimates and starts when he says he will (weather permitting). He very knowledgeable, works with your schedule and won't leave or ask for money until you're satisfied. His crew is very courteous and professional and clean up after themselves. I also had him deliver 3 loads of gravel for my 300' driveway after a very bad winter and considerable plow damage. There might be cheaper contractors out there but with Lawton you won't have headaches due to quality, punctuality or professionalism. I have since moved out of state but I would use Lawton construction again in a heartbeat for any work I needed. He's a great contractor and a great neighbor.
