+ -1 morePete, the locksmith and service provider, was excellent. He was very knowledgable and worked quickly and efficiently. Peace of mind was worth the expense.
Description of Work: Locks changed on newly purchased house. All doors were re-keyed and some hardware was changed or added. The service was conducted over the course of 2 visits and included the installation of new deadbolts and other security features to the new house. All locks work on a single key and fit and finish were excellent.

+ -1 moreHe called to see if he could come early. He was respectful and very knowledgeable of his duties. He talked my ear off, but he worked the whole time. He took the time to set the locks aesthetically on the doors. I'll have them back whenever I need a lock. He asked how many keys I needed and gave them to me. He made the deadbolt keys the same as the existing door keys so I only need 1 key to work both locks. Very thoughtful.
Description of Work: I had 3 dead bolt locks put on my doors. the person answering the phone was helpful and polite. She explained the difference between the type of locks and where I'd want them as well as their negative points. I explained my doors and we worked out which lock for each door. She gave me an estimate. The workman came within a few days; he was early and he called first to see if it was OK to come early. He talked alot the whole time, but he was pleasant and knew his business. He again explained the different locks and where they would go, verifying the order. The work was done in the timeframe given. I am pleased with the professional job done.

+ -1 moreThe serviceman arrived approximately 10 minutes early. He spent about an hour at my house. He seemed very thourough. My only concern with him is that he spent a lot of time talking and giving me unsolicited advice about topics not related to the job I hired him to do. I found this very unprofessional.

Description of Work: I had 2 dead bolts installed. I quoted 3 places and they were the 2nd most expensive but they were the only ones that asked detailed qts on the job, gave me install date w/in a week and followed up after the job as well.

+ -1 moreTHEY WERE REALLY HELPFUL. THE JOB WAS DONE IN ONE DAY. I DROPPED IT OFF ONE AFTERNOON AND IT WAS DONE THE NEXT DAY. THEY WERE QUICK AND THEY WERE GOOD. THE PRICE WAS FAIR.
Description of Work: I HAD ALL OF THE LOCKS IN THE HOUSE MADE TO FIT ONE KEY AND THE GARAGE SO I DIDN'T HAVE A BUNCH OF KEYS FOR DIFFERENT LOCKS.
