A very worthwhile service. He found carbon monoxide escaping, and fixed the problem promptly. (a dropped baffel) He was professional, knowledgeable and efficient. I paid the advertized price on Angies list. Worth every penny.

Mr. Wheeler inspected for gas leaks, found a very small one, and charged us $30 plus tax for fixing it, which took a total of 10 minutes. He was only at our home a total of 30 minutes. We felt that extra $30, combined with the $69 we paid for the inspection, was a bit steep for such a short visit. That was the only bad thing about the visit. He had good advice, and showed us a clean burner. Gas furnaces really don't need cleaning, just inspection, and only about every 3-4 years or so. This was good to know,

He was very accommodating with my schedule, arrived on time, was very professional, and you could tell that he knew what he was talking about and wasn't trying to rip me off or sell me something else.

Great! First, Aaron Wheeler is a very nice, very capable and competent professional. He completely assessed my furnace and its output and also found a couple of small gas leaks which he fixed. He showed me how to better maintain the furnace's pump and install the furnace filter. I could not have asked for more or for a better person to do the job. I would not hesitate to have him come to my home anytime.

The representative did not inform me that he was going to drill a hole in one of the furnace pvc vent pipes. Also, he also took my unopened air filter (which was near the furnace), unwrapped it and then installed it in the furnace. Only when I paid did he tell me of the hole being drilled and about installing the air filter. Then he tells me to use a different air filter that would allow more air to flow!!! He did not go over the readings that were taken or explain exactly what was done. So overall the visit was below average or poor.

The air conditioner in my new home never really seemed to keep the house cool. The service men from Wheeler's came out and found several problems with the unit. They explained their findings very thoroughly, estimated costs accurately and preformed the work in a timely manner. My house is now very comfortable and the unit works better than it has since we moved in.

It was absolutely outstanding!! Aaron is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. This was the most thorough service I have ever had. He explained everything and gave me suggestions on what I should do between service visits. It was money well spent and I have full confidence in what Aaron did.

Great, Aaron was on time, professional and honest. He didn't try to sell me on anything, last year when I had the AC service the guy tried to tell me I needed a whole new system. We had a 23 year old air conditioner that was giving us problems. We purchased a deal through Angie's List for Wheeler Heating and Cooling as it is a local family business and well rated on the list. We received what we hoped to have paid for; prompt service (considering it was done in the heat of summer), courteous treatment, a clean and functional unit. Besides having to pay for it, it's like it never happened. Father Mike measured our house requirements to fit the correct unit for the home. He and his son installed at their next opening in the schedule, which was set up by Mom Terri. We were very pleased and would highly recommend them.

Excellent service I was very pleased that he checked everything concerning my air conditioner, moters temperature issues, condenser coil, compressor, changed filters, and he replaced a capacitor which was needed . He was excellent

I found that Wheeler Heating & Cooling was offering a $79 A/C Safety Inspection & Cleaning and purchased the deal. I was able to call and set up the appointed at my convenience. On the date of the service, the company called and told me the serviceman was running 15 minutes late. I told the gal I appreciated the heads-up, and sure enough, the serviceman arrived as I had been told. He was prompt, efficient and very professional. When finished, he went over everything with me, and gave me several tips on how to better maintain the system. I would highly recommend using Wheeler Heating & Cooling in the future.

Aaron was very pleasant and professional. Arrived on time. This was probably the most thorough review and check up of my system that I have had. Some minor issues that have been there for years were pointed out for the first time. Noted the age of the furnace and some problems indicative of probably needing a new one down the road but felt assured that we would get at least 1 more season out of it if not more. Very pleased and will definitely use again.

I had a leaking steam pipe on my one pipe boiler My prior HVAC company sent a technician with a smart phone camera. Two weeks latter the pipe was still spewing steam, as we attempted to spec and estimate the job. That company insisted that red copper was a satisfactory material even though they would only warranty it for 30 days. When Wheeler estimated the job, they reinforced reasons why black steel should be used. During the estimate the technician also applied a temporary wrapping to the leaking pipe, fixing the immediate problem. After I had an asbestos abatement, they returned and replaced the pipe with threaded black steel. Wheeler definitely understands steam heat and wants to perform quality work. Prices are reasonable, quality of their work is excellent, the area was clean when they left, and service has been prompt. Wheeler is now my HVAC contractor. They will be returning to replace copper near piping that was installed by the prior HVAC contractor and has developed pin holes.

Zach arrived to our home promptly on time. He reviewed all systems and was timely and efficient. He recommended a new control panel for temperature control, and showed us why it was needed. The new panel was installed timely and efficiently, and we can rest easy knowing our home will stay comfortable during the summer heat. Wheeler is a family run business, and they were able to schedule our service on the day/time we requested. We are very pleased with Zach and the work he did and will definitely contact him again for future heating and cooling needs!

Everything went well. This family owned firm was recommended through word of mouth as one of several reliable contractors in this geographic area. Their price was fair, they showed up when they said they would, removed a very large old oil boiler and installed a new gas boiler. They even cleaned up after, mopping the kitchen floor since they had to haul the gear through there. The price was competitive and there were no surprises when the bill was presented. Last winter I had a minor problem, the impeller that pushes water through the system gave out, they came over promptly and fixed it for a fair price. A good heating contractor is important to know in upstate NY and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them
