Wonderful. I wish he could have helped. Will be calling this company again if we have issues with our non slate roof tops.

It went very well. Tom was very professional, explained all my options in detail and how roofs and different components work within the system. He also provided insurance advice and samples of materials (colors/ textures). Always available to answer questions. Once the appointment was made, he came in and took one last look. The crew arrived on time and finished in a day. Afterward we had some heavy rain and we did not have any issues with the roof. Overall great job

At that time, it didn't expose anything. But then, a couple of months later, I had shingles fall off. Because of the Angie's List work that they did, I called them and they came out and repaired the roof. They gave me a discount because I went through Angie's List. There were some communication issues, but I was fine with the service itself. Their price was good and their work was fair.

To start, my roof had wind/hail damage from a small tornado in my neighborhood. My first instinct was to panic, so I called 7 or 8 roofing companies for an estimate (that might actually be an understatement). Of course, I understood it was after business hours and didn't anticipate anyone taking my call at 6pm. Ultimate Roofing did take my call (the only company that did that evening), and we scheduled for an estimate the next day. The following day, only two or three other contractors returned my messages--the others I never heard back from to this day. Over the course of a week and a half, other companies slowly trickled in to provide their estimates. Tom from Ultimate came the day after the storm happened, as scheduled, and provided me an estimate in the same visit. I work in Commercial Insurance, so it impressed me when he also provided a Certificate of General Liability and Worker's Compensation Insurance without me having to ask. I chose to go with Ultimate based on responsiveness, price, and the fact they were the highest rated roofing company on Angie's List within a 10 mile radius of my home. The day they started the job, the crew was very punctual and efficient. They started work within minutes of pulling up to the house. The level of professionalism was exceptional and the company was very cooperative while I worked with the Insurance company on the storm damage claim. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone needing roof replacement or repair! Thanks again!

Ultimate Roofing gave me the best estimate. When it came time to do the roof, they were punctual and worked consistently. They still had the garage and part of the back porch to finish the next day and asked permission to leave their materials in my yard and cleaned up any debris before they left. Job was completed on the second day and Tom came back and asked about my satisfaction.

Ultimate did a great job for a great price. Their first price was less than what I was able to "negotiate" down from other companies. They knew I had a leak and got me in very quickly and the job was finished in less than a day. Roof looks great. Clean-up was done so you couldn't tell they were there. Seems like some of the other companies aren't interested in working. Quotes took forever, if they responded at all. Ultimate was great every step of the way.

The service was good. It was easy to schedule the appointment. They were on time, professional, and courteous. I like the fact that they did not try to sell me anything. It was a ten-year old roof. When you are expecting somebody to give you their opinion on your roof, you are really at their mercy when you know nothing about the roof or get up there yourself. So, I appreciated the fact that they were honest and said that everything was good. There were a few loose spots of shingles which they tact down because it was included in $99 Deal and it was good. It was well-worth a hundred dollars. I had to call them twice. That was the only thing I remember, but they were good. They were just in the middle of a busy time. They showed up right when they said they would.

A lot of it was covered by insurance because we had a hail storm. They were very good. I had a very good interaction with them. They were very pleasant. The roof is good.

Tommy responded to my call on Thursday nite. Told me he had another job on Friday morning and said he would tried to get to me Friday afternoon. He got to my house just a little after noon and went right to work. Put two channels in the ice dam so the water could drain out and not back up into my house.

They were very hard to schedule at first, but once we were able to get the work scheduled, they did a great job. They were very professional I will definitely be using them again for future projects.

The service turned out well when I finally got in touch with them when we finally got the work done. It took at least several months though. He actually took $50 off the amount he quoted me. The amount of the work that he had done was quoted as $350, but when he finally came, he only charged me $300 because it was so late. He seemed nice. I think it was just a miscommunication or something going on about trying to get in touch with him, but I would definitely hire him again. The price was pretty fair. I could not have done what he did.

I was nervous about who to hire for the project of replacing my 5000 sf roof on my primary residence in Wilton, NY. Alot of people in my neighborhood have had there roof replaced in the last year. I had called multiple roofers to come out and give me a price on replacing the roof with a few priorities at the top of the list such as Owens Corning Brand of shingle, #30 tar paper, 6 foot of Ice /water shield in valleys & edge of roof, at least 1.5 inch drip edge. The prices ranged from $14,900 to $30,000 (Home Depot, which I knew would be 2x the price and just used as a bench mark). The guys that came in at the $14k range wanted to cut corners on quality of materials. When Tom from Ultimate Roofing came to give me the original estimate, he was very professional, did not try to cut any corners like most of the others, was honest & was very competitively priced. Also made an extra trip out to bring me some more color samples. He came in the time frame he promised me and did exactly what he said he would. I could not be happier with my new roof. They were very clean and tidy while installation and after he was done he and his crew cleaned the entire area back to its original condition. The entire removal & installation only took 2 days (5000sf). I would definitely use Ultimate Roofing again and will recommend them to anyone looking to install a new roof. They did exactly what they said they were going to do. I expected that I would have to schedule a second visit, but that wasn’t necessary. It was all completed in about two hours.

Despite the fact I told him I called because I saw good reviews on Angie's List, he never showed up or called me back. I even gave him an opportunity to decline telling him it as a small job. He said that was not a problem. Still, a no show.

This past Spring, Tom (owner) performed a special roof inspection advertised through Angie. At that time, Tom recommended replacement of the shingles on the front porch roof. My wife and I needed to wait to arrange for the estimated cost of repair. Due to rising costs of roofing materials, the final quoted cost ($800) was somewhat higher but understandable. Tom and his crew arrived at the house early, having left me a message that a previous job was proceeding much faster and that he would be early. Tom was exceptionally courteous, and requested that for safety reasons, if I could relocate my vehicle further away from the house. I relocated the vehicle, and went back into my garage to pull out some gutter materials (Tom had agreed to put these on for an additional $50 - I jumped at that). By the time I came back to check on how they were coming along (about 5-10 minutes) several of his crew were already working and had most of the old shingles stripped and on drop cloths on the ground - AMAZING !! I was enjoying my morning coffee and catching up on some work inside - Tom and his crew continued to work, and within two hours, he was knocking at the door, wanting me to come out and do a visual inspection of the COMPLETED work - again AMAZING !! The shingles look great (Tom had stopped by a few days earlier, and we went over the color and styles - he installed exactly what was agreed upon), as do the gutters, with the downspouts tailored against the porch posts as requested. From what I can see, every old shingle, piece of tar paper and nail was completely cleaned up by Tom and his crew and removed for proper disposal. As a customer, I am absolutely THRILLED with the attention to detail, professionalism and courtesy that was extended to me in this service. I HIGHLY recommend Tom and Ultimate Roofing - you won't be disappointed.

I had specifically asked in the original purchase that I be contacted at work by phone. This is because I did not want to miss the call and my cell phone is not always 100% reliable due to cellular coverage, but our office phone, always with a receptionist answering, is 100% reliable. Unfortunately the company did not either read my request for the call or whatever, but I did not get a call. I do see, now three days later, there was a message sent by them, but I am not in the habit of reading all my various message sites (eBay, PayPal, Angie's List, etc, etc, etc). I have one email that I check daily and that's about all I have time for. Be that as it may, if my office number had been called there would have been a different outcome and I would have been able to take advantage of this obviously good deal. But with no communication from the company, I found another company to do the work on my roof on Friday afternoon. Hence I am requesting this refund. Thank you.

I had four quotes to replace the roof. I chose to go with ultimate roofing. From the time of the quote to the finished product they where incredible. From the start, they where quick to respond for an estimate and showed up on time with great knowledge, answering many of my questions. On the day of the roof they where in and out within a day. The workers were very professional and worked very hard. I have only had the roof for two weeks but everything is great so far. I would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a new roof!

As I explained, these guys were great. Did exactly what I asked for and treated me very well.

The service was excellent and the roofer was extremely helpful. He also let me know if my gutters needed to be cleaned. Service was very fast and he worked around my schedule. Very pleased and will definitely use every year for a roof inspection and will use when I need a new roof which will be in ~20 years.

We had originally hired Ultimate Roofing to inspect our roof through an Angie's List deal. We were told that our roof still had some life in it (the good news) but that our chimney was in sorry shape (the bad news). Tom showed me several pictures of the roof and the dismal looking chimney, gave me a quote for the repair and said to give them a call if we wanted the work done. We did and they scheduled the work in the timeframe they said they would. The work was done in one day as promised; cleanup was spotless and the cost was exactly what was promised. Very professional. I would definitely call again for future work and recommend them to others! Thanks for a great experience.

The service provider was very punctual, called me when he was on his way and did a thorough inspection and minor repairs. I would definite contact this company in the future for roof repair and replacement needs.

He was very professional, did a great job and his price was very reasonable, I would highly recommend ultimate roofing.

Tom and a colleague showed up on time, and was very courteous & professional. He was candid about my older roof and did some minor repairs to stabilize it. This was a proactive check on my part, but when I'm ready for a new roof, I wouldn't hesitate to call Tom again.

I am waiting for a follow-up call on an estimate. I proposed a change to the initial estimate and he said they would get back with me. I am very satisfied with the service so far. They were prompt once I was able to be present for the service and they were flexible with my schedule.

I did not have Ultimate do my roofing job, in part due to the higher cost. However, all the companies I had come out to my house to make roofing estimates came highly rated, and I simply had to make a decision. I would still recommend Ultimate to others.
