TYGERT ENTERPRISES INC

The project went extremely well. We had approximately 480 sf of oak flooring refinished. Kent provided an estimate within a couple days of my first call. His crew came on the day planned and sanded most of the floor, returned the next day to finish sanding and put down the first coat, then again the next day to buff and put down a second coat. After the kitchen cabinetry was complete and appliances installed, I called to let Kent know that we were ready for the final coat. Approximately a week later Nick returned and did the final buff and coat.

This was a pretty straight-forward job, in a small house. The contractor was available when promised and was punctual. The painted surfaces were done well, and the painter was very personable. However, some areas of molding were missed and cleanup was not complete. One area (dust and paint specks on top of cabinets in kitchen with a cathedral ceiling) was missed completely. In a few areas, paint was not cleaned from edges of stained molding.

We waited 3 months to be scheduled, but it was certainly worth the wait. Kent Tygert did an excellent job repairing our old pine floor. He came when he said he would and even scheduled our job when we were away on vacation so we were not inconvenienced with the polyurethane fumes and lack of access to our kitchen. As an added bonus, he cleaned up as well (or better) than we would have. He is relatively expensive but trustworthy and a good value for your money.

I FIGURED 2800 FOR TWO COATS WAS CHEAP COMPARED WITH THE OTHER GUY WHO WANTED ANOTHER 3800 FOR TWO COATS. I WAS HAPPY THAT HE DID ALL THAT WORK IN THREE DAYS. THE OTHER GUY I CALLED BACKED OUT ON ME LAST MINUTE SO I CALLED HIM. HE CAME RIGHT OUT THE SAME DAY AND STARTED WORKING THE NEXT DAY. I THOUGHT HE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB, I DON'T SEE ANY PAINT ON THE CEILING WHERE I HAVE TO CUT IN.

I HAD HEARD OF THEM BEFORE IN REGARDS TO PAINTING AND I'D HEARD THAT THEIR REPUTATION WAS VERY GOOD, SO WE WENT WITH THEM. THEY TOOK A LONG TIME TO CALL US BACK.
