Description of Work: We had a squirrel under our room. They were prompt at evaluating the job. A one way door was placed at the presumed place of entry. after a few days the rep returned, removed the door and patched 2 wholes of entry. Prompt, clean, well done. We had estimates up to $1600. I wold go with Thomas pest service again.

Description of Work: Technician Miguel is very prompt, courteous and helpful. Initially, an overall inspection of the home was done because of a problem with mice. |Miguel found termite damage which had resulted in a large opening in the sill of the home. I had that problem corrected by a contractor. I got a price on the termite treatment from Thomas', but I have not yet opted to use it because of the cost. I know from getting prices elsewhere that the Thomas price is reasonable and competitive. I do continue to get regular bimonthly home service for overall coverage of the home from Thomas'. Mice problem in the home has been virtually eliminated, although Miguel said on last month's inspection that there was an indication of activity in the basement. There has been no activity in the living area since the sill was repaired and the initiation of the contract with Thomas. I'm not surprised to have some mice activity in the basement: it's an older house and it's winter.

+ -1 moreThis was an outstanding experience with the company and if I hear more critter noises then they will be my first call. On Friday when I called I missed the fact that this would be a free estimate and was expecting to pay for the techs time but when he told me of the free home estimate I was over joyed. We had heard a mouse on Friday. Placed a call to them around 3:00 Friday and they said they could have someone here monday morning first thing. The tech showed up on time and was very helpful and very informative on what he was looking for. He searched the whole basement and main level as well as the attic. He gave me a few things to try and see if the mouse shows again. We haven't heard it since Friday so he believes that it could be dead and that it was a lone mouse in the house. Its great to know that you can call a locally owned company and get such great service. I will clearly call these guys for any future needs.

+ -1 moreOverall these guys are great. they cost $170.00 per hour which was the average cost for such services to be performed.
Description of Work: professional came to our home and did a complete survey of the upstairs bedrooms and around the whole exterior of our home. Was very knowledgeable about our issues at hand and explained what he could do to eliminate our problem. we had a colony of bats (northeast brown bats) that had been living in our attic for quite some time. He showed us areas where they could enter our attic. He had to come back two different times to complete the job due to weather related issues. While he was on one side of our home he came in contact with a huge yellow jacket nest and took care of that problem pro-bono at no cost to us. His name was tad and Thomas pest control is very lucky to have employed this person, he was a fine example of there business. I would recommend this company to my freinds and family.

+ -1 moreThere was a scheduling snafu on the first day they were supposed to come out, but they were very apologetic and gave us our choice for day and time for the next appointment and arrived very promptly. The person who gave the estimate was very professional, reviewing the problem area we had identified, but also looking at other areas of the house for other potential problems. I was impressed that he did not try to sell us services we didn't need, but just told us honestly that he didn't see any problems other than the one we had called him for, and that even that one was pretty minor.
Description of Work: Came out to give us an estimate for getting rid of ants.

There was a period when I was having carpenter ants and it seemed not be relieved by the normal services so they came back several times to make sure the job was done and I appreciated that. It is a little expensive. It is more expensive than my previous exterminator but I think probably things have gone up and it is not unreasonable. They are pretty punctual. They are very professional and very friendly.

+ -1 moreThey sprayed for carpenter ants last summer and we spent about $150 on that and $100 for the bat removal. They explained what products they were using. They are a family own business, which is one of the things we like about them.
Description of Work: We use Thomas Pest Control Services Inc. for pest control. The last time we used them was about 6 months ago because we had a bat in our attic and they came and got them.
