This company was very responsive. Paul came to our home the same day we called the company, and he provided samples to choose from and an estimate immediately. When they had to re-schedule twice because of rain, they called the day before and gave another scheduled date. They protected our close neighbor's siding, and were very efficient. They replaced our roof and cleaned up beautifully all in one day. We then found out from Paul that the shingles we chose were energy efficient so we could submit the proof from Owens Corning on our taxes.

Complete excellence from beginning to end. I got three quotes. Paul from S&G was the only one to actually show up and describe in detail what they were going to do. They showed up on 7/12/2018 as scheduled and went straight to work. When I got home at 5:30 pm, they were done. A fully shingled roof in around 10 hours - amazing! Plus the cleanup was perfect. You wouldn't even know they were here. I'd hire this company again without any thought.

Job went great, we're very happy with the work performed, quality of the new roof, professionalism of the roofers and cleanup. Old shingles were removed, new ice shield, underlay, OC architectural shingles and quality ridge vent installed. Due to water issues we had new gutters installed last fall and were concerned the roofing job might damage them. The roofers didn't touch the gutters and downspouts (i.e. no damage at all to the new gutters - they were left up during the entire job). We needed 3 sheets of extra plywood replaced (in addition to 2 covered in the original estimate) but the crew explained exactly why. Areas I thought might need new plywood didn't so I was confident in the discretion of the crew. The crew was very friendly and did a great job cleaning up. Paul was a pleasure to work with. We feel like we got excellent value for the cost. The entire job took 1 day.

They promised me a new roof in one day and that's exactly what I got. The light was going as they finished shingling but the crew cleared all the debris before they left - using hand lamps to make sure they got every nail. My new roof looks great! I would definitely hire this company again, but I'm sure this roof is going to outlast us all. I highly recommend them.

S & G is fabulous! Hire this company and have it done right! S & G was professional, knowledgeable, had samples on hand, explained the entire process, showed up when they said they would, at the time specified, completed the job in one day and did an impeccable clean up job. Their price is right for the terrific work done. They crew was punctual, organized and worked with a rhythm - clearly understanding how to install a roof. S & G has appropriate, well maintained vehicles for the job, proper insurance in S & G's name, uses the proper materials and had either one or both of the owners on site during the entire job. GREAT!!!!!! What Drove the cost up from 8800, to 9700, was all the extra ply wood to replace the rotten wood which Paul explained and which I understand completly

Paul was great. He was professional and friendly. I cannot say enough good things. He was thorough and took his time on a Friday at 6. If you need a new roof, look to S and G. I do not think you will be disappointed.

They have great communication skills -- from beginning to the very end. Explained what type of roofing material they would use and how it would be applied, etc, When the date was chosen, they were on site on time with a large crew. When we were told it would be 1 day, some people told us no way. But this company delivered what they said. They showed me what really was under my top roof layer; this presented an unexpected additional expense of what the situation really was like. They did a total roof replacement far better than what I had there before . IT WAS A BIG JOB. I was shown again when they were almost finished. The whole crew were hard workers and they cleaned up the whole area before they left. They protected our home windows as well as the neighbor's home side and windows. They also gave the best price of all the vendors we talked to. HIghly recommend this company. We spoke to Paul.

Very well. The job was expanded because the roof boards contained mold. S & G obtained the additional products and still completed the job in one day. Communication was very effective.

Enjoyed very much working this company right from the get-go! We met with Paul in our home (he insisted that we both be present so he could explain everything) and he explained very clearly every single step of the process of redoing our roof. He was very thorough. We had our estimate the next day and any questions we had, we texted Paul as he had given us his cell phone number and he got right back to us. The day the roof was done went like clock work.......the crew got here earlier than they said even (here before 7, supposed to be here by 7:30am) and got right to work. Each team member knew exactly what his job was and went right to it. And when they were done with the roof, they cleaned up our yard as well as our neighbors (some stuff had blown over into their yard during the work)....it didn't even look like a work crew had been here!! Awesome job done by an awesome company!

Job was delayed by one day due to rain. Workers started at 7am & finished at 6:30pm. Job was done perfectly and the workers were very careful to clean up any mess, nails & garbage all around the property. Very professional would highly highly recommend. Especially contact person Paul.

We had a leaky roof that did damage to a bathroom ceiling. We called S&G and he was able to come out right away. He got on the roof and saw the problem. He was able to come back the next day and fixed it. We have had many rainy days since, and the roof no longer leaks.

Apparently the owner was out of the country and that is what led to some of our concerns regarding the timeliness of our repair . Ultimately the repair was taken care of to my satisfaction and we are happy with the overall results and would re hire for another project .

Initially Very attentive on a $25,100.00 roofing job But the roof leaks and they will not respond to my 20 or more phone calls to fix the roof . Legal action will have to commence unless they address it ASAP. I have been forced to call in another roofer to repair their work. Bad way to do business especially on such a large and expensive roof.

I left messages to 3 roofers on the same day in regards of wind/weather damage that occurred in the month of December to my roof. Only Paul called me back the same day. The others never contacted me back. Their loss, Paul's gain. Work had to be postponed a couple of times due to weather temperature. Work was completed in 1 day. It was a big job due to layers and layers and layers of prior roofing. I had a rubber roof on my home. My home does not have a flat roof. It is a pitch roof. My roof should had been shingles. I did not have any knowledge of that when I bought the home. I was a single mom at that time and just was happy I purchased a home for my daughter and myself. Paul was very honest and told me that roof should have NEVER been on the house. I now feel I got bamboozled when purchasing the home:(. It is 10 years I lived in the home. Anyways, workers cleaned up very nicely. Everything was a smooth transaction. Paul answered or contacted me back the same day whenever I called. One time I contacted him and he was actually at the airport going on vacation, but he still answered and talked. I would highly recommend him to do any of your roofing needs. My roof looks great now!

Spoke with Paul. He returned my inital call the same day. We scheduled a day/time for him to come take a look. We rescheduled when it was raining on the day of estimate. Paul came on time to the estimate - walked around the perimeter of the house looking at the roof from all angles. Took measurements. Sat down with me and explained their process and what materials they used. Gave me three estimates for repairs/half roof/ full roof. We decided to do the full roof. Scheduled the date of the roof job. Got a confirmation call two nights before. Work went as planned. Roof took 1 1/2 days to install. They were meticulous with clean up. I have been raking leaves since the install and have found 1 nail in total. Pretty impressive. Only mishap - I wish I knew the speed in which the workers went (there were 5 on my roof at once). The amount of vibration from piles of shingles being dropped on my roof caused my chandelier to shake violently and items on my mantel fell and broke. If I had been warned about this - I would have moved them before work started. But overall, extrememly pleased with this project.
