Great. It took Pete 1/2 hour to fix a problem that a Real Plumber charged me five hours for but did not fix!

Pete analyzed the problems and offered reasonable solutions. He returned 2 times to repair different leaks at a bathtub without additional charges. He stands behind his work.

It was a night when the sump pump was coming on constantly. The drain line used by the pump corroded and water was spilling on the basement floor each time the pump came on. It was about 2AM Sunday when I called Pete, seeing that he provided emergency service. Pete came over promptly and repaired the drain pipe quickly and at a very good price. I will be calling Pete again for any future plumbing work.

The main water shutoff valve in our home had a slow leak. We wanted to get it repaired before is became an emergency. We also had a toilet that leaked from underneath when flushed. We called Pete on Wednesday, and he was able to fit us into his schedule the next Tuesday. Pete called us before coming over, letting us know when he would arrive. Pete arrived when he said he would, and quickly made the repairs. Pete's prices are very reasonable and generally below other plumbers. We will be using Pete's services again

I called Pete and described the problem with our toilet. We set set up a mutually convenient appointment time. On the day of our appointment, Pete called first and arrived on time. I showed him the problem toilet. He diagnosed the problem, got to work, and installed new parts. The problem was fixed quickly and the toilet works great.

Pete came out in a sleet storm from Albany to fix our outdoor faucet that had been running for some time and also installed a shut off valve. He called on his way to let us know when he would be to our home, which was ahead of schedule. Pete even placed a cover over our carpet to protect it as he walked through our home. He charged us almost the exact amount that someone else did to do the exact work at the front of our home, so we feel as if this must be the going rate.

I sent this company pics of what my situation was & what I hoped to achieve. "Pete" responded & did show up on time. He even thought that he could help me get my issue fixed. He said he would make some calls to see what he could get to fix the issue and get back to me. In the meantime I contacted him again with a picture of an item I had found & a question about whether or not it would work for my purpose. Well he never responded to that & never bothered to get back to me - either way - on helping me get my project completed. It's been weeks! Almost 2 months now. One of the things I'm finding with these local plumbers & electricians is that if they have nothing to do they show up but if something better comes along or if you issues involves some "thinking outside the box" or whatever - You never hear from them again. I have been trying to get this one project done for over a year and have had NO luck . Don't come to my house & lead me on that you can help me get my issue resolved then walk out the door and not have the common courtesy - Yes, COURTESY - to at least tell me you are no longer interested, too big to do small jobs or just too lazy and would rather sit home on your butt. AS a customer I trusted you in my home, at least have the minimal amount of professionalism to follow thru!

We would hire Pete again should the need arrive. He responded quickly, analyzed the problem, suggested a solution, and fixed the problem.

We woke up with no hot water and found that our old water heater had been leaking overnight. I had spoken to Pete once before on a different issue, but had not ended up using him. I'd saved his name and number because I was impressed by his responsiveness. So I dialed his number at 6:15am, fully expecting to leave a message. Instead, HE ANSWERED THE PHONE (did I mention that it was 6:15am???). I explained the situation. He asked what size water heater we needed, said he would delay his first scheduled job of the day, and be at our house by 7:30am with a new water heater. When he was only 5 minutes late, he actually called to say he would be there in 5 minutes. So less than 90 mins after calling him he was there. We had hot water by 10:30am and he and his partner left the work area looking better than they found it. Granted, we didn't shop for price, and may have gotten a lower price from someone else, but this level of service was worth every penny. Pete and his partner were professional, courteous, neat, and did exactly what we needed them to do. As good an experience as a busted water heater could be :-).

All that happened was he cut off a piece of copper pipe, stated he couldn't install the dishwasher and tried to collect $150 and leave. I asked him to look at a slow draining tub, which he looked at for 5 minutes and then left. I did ask him to come back in and actually do something for the $150 that I gave him and he did clear the drain. He did take the copper pipe with him that he cut off, but he left the water line from the dishwasher bent back with no cap or anything on it. I had to hire someone else to actually finish the installation.

Pete is a dependable, quick responder. We had some kitchen sink plumbing in desperate need of being replaced and he came out quickly the same day. His prices are reasonable. We will continue to call him for all of our plumbing needs!

He first protected the HW floors from their boots with plastic and quickly assesed it had to be drainage pipe related, not water supply. We had already opened some drywall in upstairs bathroom, so Pete was able to see and feel part of the bathroom drains. However some drainage pipes from the master shower and toilet were not easy accessible or visible from the upstairs. Because the kitchen ceiling is in a very visible area of our house, Pete then recommended to get a good drywall person to come in to nicely cut out 8 sqft of ceiling- so it can also nicely be repaired again. Once all drainage pipes are clearly exposed, then Pete recommended to run the water upstairs- one by one- and check for water leaks around the drainage pipes. He would of course come out to repair and further check for leaks once exposed. Pete did not charge us for this visit and his advise and it's an extraordinary service, also considering the distance he had to drive to get here. His service and advise are very much appreciated. We obviously plan to use Pete again once the drainage pipes are exposed.

Pete was easy to reach and work with in scheduling an appointment. He came later in the day the same week I called to accommodate our work schedule. He and his worker were punctual and very professional. He took care of the clog as requested and discussed why we had the issue. This is the 3rd time we've had this drain snaked, the other 2 times by a different plumber who I would never use again. I would definitely reach out to Pete's company again for similar or other plumbing issues. His pricing was fair and he was knowledgeable in his work.

Pete looked at several issues. Was honest in his evaluation of which could be postponed, which should be repaired, which replaced. He went above and beyond in service (and the clean up after). I have used him in the past and will continue to use him in the future.

I thought I had some pipes freezing in my attic. Pete came and inspected the area but determined the pipes weren't the problem. I was so happy I called him or else I may have ended up spending a lot more money for work that I didn't need done. He was very knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable with him and will be using him again!

Called Pete around 7pm this evening after finding our utility tub backed up in the basement and running water elsewhere in the house was causing the level in the tub to rise. Only thing that could make that happen is a blocked drain line heading out of the house, so we were stuck with no sewer. He was at our house in Troy (coming from Schenectady) within an hour and had the drain cleaned out in a matter of minutes using a motorized snake. He pulled a big clump of roots out of the drain then snaked it again while we ran several sinks to put some water down the drain. He broke up another blockage the second time through. I was very appreciative of the fact that he came out to Troy from Schenectady after hours and didn't charge anything extra for it. As he said to me "I wasn't going to leave you guys with no sewer!" Other places might make a little more off an after-hours charge or a higher rate, but by coming out so quickly and being fair with his price, Pete made sure that if we find ourselves in need of a plumber again, he'll be our first call.

Pete is very responsive to phone calls, punctual, professional, very reasonable. I will call him again when I have a problem.

Pete was very professional and knowable. We called him the day prior to service to see about an estimate, which he gave us over the phone, he showed up promptly the next afternoon, did a great job installing the facet and the dead on with the price. We definitely recommend him.

We love Pete and he is now "Our" plumber and we have already recommended him to friends. His first visit was to look at a couple of small problems...both of which he took care of in less than 30 minutes. He wouldn't let me pay him at that time and he said he;d catch up with me in the future. We had Pete come back on 7-3-14 to install the additional line and spigot for the side of our home. He is friendly, fast, efficient, excellent quality, on time and within budget. He is also honest and when we were going to have something done that he could have made over $100 on he told us he wouldn't do it if it were his house (the work wasn't necessary). We will be calling Pete back for a few more projects we have lined up.

Pete was extremely responsive in getting back to our e-mail request and even more responsive in doing the work. He explained what had most likely happened when I told him about the leak we had associated with an outdoor faucet. The explanation was very useful in that the symptoms were somewhat of a mystery to me. He quickly replaced the faucet, which was much more complex than a simple indoor faucet. While he was here, we asked him to also clean out a drain, which he did. We were very pleased with his professionalism and expertise. He was eager to please, which he did. We would definitely use his services again.
