He could start work almost immediately - even though it wasn't an emergency. The only difficulty was the price: the figure I "heard" before agreeing to the job, was $200 less than what I had to pay. May be he misspoke or I misunderstood. To avoid this kind of situation, I would ask for a written quote before agreeing to the work. Other than that the job went very well.

Another great job by Pete! We had another storm, causing water back up in the basement. Not only did Pete take care of the blockage, we asked him to replace the water pipes leading to our laundry room. Pete had all the equipment in his van, and did the job the very same day.

He came within two hours of my call (including picking up new toilet). Did a clean job; was very pleasant; prompt and reasonable. Would definitely use him again and recommend to friends.

Although it was a simple job, it wasn't something I could do myself. Pete did it quickly and promptly with no issues. I would definitely call Pete again for any plumbing issues I might have.

Pete was great - I would recommend him to anyone. He was very professional, timely and got the job done. When we asked him to work on our ancient furnace, he was kind enough to refer us to another professional with expertise in the area which I greatly respected.

Pete is a great guy. He came to our rather remote house in the country on the same day I called, and checked out a rusted pipe connection. He saw that the rust was just on the outside, and said it was better just left alone, and charged us nothing for the service. We will definitely call him when we have a real job to be done.

He scheduled time to come but was able to fit me in a day early which I very much appreciated since I could not use my kitchen sink. He was very nice and pleasant and seemed to be very knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to call him again if I needed more repairs.

I thought he was fantastic. I like his professionalism and the amount of work he put in. He never stopped. I was very happy with them.

Pete is great. But what really sold me on his service was that he told us about an inexpensive tool to keep the drains free from obstruction in the future. I recommend Pete the Plumber wholeheartedly!

I called Pete and told him what my toilet issues were and gave him a simple breakdown of what kind of toilet replacement I was interested in. I told him I was not in a rush and that whenever he got to me would be fine. He made an appointment to come by two days later. He called to say he could come a little earlier than planned which was fine with me. He showed up, took out the old toilet and installed the new one in less than an hour. He cleaned up after himself. He put a tarp down over the carpets. He was in and out in record time and left no mess behind. Very pleasant person and very professional. My new toilet is awesome. It flushes everything down the first time, every time, in one quick flush. I am very happy with the new toilet and Pete's work.

Pete was punctual, and very professional. He identified the problem and quickly went to work. Pete put down drop cloths to keep the kitchen clean. After a few minutes of work he was done. Very friendly. I would use him again and recommend him to anyone needing service.

I emailed Pete about the problem (as a potiential new customer). He called be back the next day (email was sent in the evening) and arrangements were made for him to come out Saturday. He called to let me know he could come earlier they planned, which was fine and quickly diagnosed and solved the problem. He was pleasant and knowledgable and even moved his van so I could back out and pick my chlild up from a sports practice while he continued to work on the problem. (another adult was home at the time)

Called Pete to have some work done; he answered promptly and offered to come out on a saturday to take a look at things as that was the best day for us. He arrived on time to look things over. He informed me that he could take care of the clogged sink right away and advised that we replace the faucet rather than try to repair it. He felt it was better to do the job right by replacing it rather than trying to fix the leak temporarily only to have to come back out later when it started leaking again. It was estimated that it would only be about $100 more to replace rather than repair so we went with that. He said he would order the parts on monday and call to set up an appointment date. Before leaving, he unclogged the sink and got it running the way it should. He did a great job cleaning up. As expected, I got a call first thing monday morning to set up an appointment to repair the faucet. Again, he worked with our schedule to set up the best time to do the work, letting us know to call him if anything changed for us. When he did come out, he replaced the faucet quickly and efficiently, testing it and cleaning everything up. We are very happy with the work performed by Pete and will not hesitate to use him again in the future.

When he showed up for the first appointment he told us to get the septic tank pumped, left, and charged us $100. He told us that if he had to come back he would put the $100 towards our next service visit. I thought he could have done more on his first visit, but it turned out the problem was more severe than simply pumping the septic tank. When he returned he kept his word and honored the agreement we had previously discussed.

Pete was great. I had been having a issue where my kitchen sink was draining really slow and burping down at times. Additionally I was getting very low hot water pressure and almost no heat from the hot side of the faucet. The original configuration of the piping under the sink was pretty janky so I thought perhaps a quick rebuild would sort out the issue with the drain. After rebuilding it, I still wan't able to correct the issue on my own, and had actually increased the problem as there was less pipe to fill up under the sink. I finally decided to bit the bullet and find a plumber. I have a friend who works on the comercial side of a well know local company, and while he was very praiseful of their quality of service he warned me the prices were pretty high. Not really knowing who to look for, I joined angies list and started looking through the reviews. I came across Pete's entry and all the praise he was getting and decided to contact him via his webpage. I personally don't use my kitchen very much so there wasn't a big rush for me. Pete called me back a short time later saying he had another job in my area he was headed to but could stop by right after if I would be available. Sounded like a plan to me, and Pete came over later that evening. He first came in and looked over the situation and asked all the needed questions. Within a minute or two he basically had pinpointed the cause of both issues and gave me an amazingly reasonable cost to take care of them. He was a really friendly guy and we talked for a bit while he was doing his thing. The whole time he took precautions to keep the rest of my house and area clean. He rolled out plastic walkways from the door to the kitchen area and layed down extra heavy duty covers in the immediate work area. The whole process he explained what he was doing, why, and went over why certain types of clogs occur in my type of house (slab floor). He tested his work the whole way through and once complete to be sure everything was working properly. He also corrected the water pressure issue quickly by unjamming a stuck shutoff valve, that I was hesitant to adjust myself in fear of snapping it off and creating a flood. As an added bonus he complemented my work on the drain rebuild under the sink. Pete had the right tools and knowledge to get the job done right. I would absolutely recommend Pete to others and he'll certainly be my first call for any other plumbing issues I may have

Pete responded immediately to my call and was at my house very quickly, considering I had not made a previous appointment with him. He performed the work quickly, cleaned up immaculately and his prices were excellent. He is very professional and friendly.I would not hesitate to recommend him to a neighbor or family member.

Pete returned my call yesterday within an hour. In the midst of a bathroom remodel, I needed him to hook up a new Moen faucet, install the drain stop and hook up the drain. When he called he gave me the choice of later that morning or mid afternoon. I requested late morning. He called before coming and arrived on schedule. He installed the new faucet and the stop. Since the remodel involved a different size vanity, the sink was offset from the drain. Pete made the necessary modifications to hook up the drain, He also routed it in a fashion as to minimize the loss of storage space under the counter making it a very neat and efficient hook up. He completed the job in a highly professional and thorough manner, using a drop cloth and cleaning up to my full satisfaction. Pete's professionalism is highly unusual in this day and age and his work and workmanship is greatly appreciated. I will call Pete back for any of my future plumbing needs. He keeps the customer fully informed from the start of the job to the finish and provides information to customers to help them manage their plumbing needs. This is the second time we have used Pete and he is fully living up to his Angie's List highly positive ratings in our experience.

He responded right away when I called, arriving at the house exactly when he said that he would. Pete looked at the work that needed to be done and gave me an estimate. He came at a later date to perform the work. His estimate was accurate and everything checked out fine. He even cleaned up nicely! I felt that Pete gave me good advice, doing what needed to be done without going overboard. I am VERY happy with the whole experience.

He swapped out valves, ran out to the store to get an extra part he needed, and was very efficient with his time. I thought the price was very reasonable considering the trip to the store, the fact that he was here for over two hours, and that it included parts. I've used him in the past and he is good about letting you know what is necessary vs. what is not. (I find this refreshing as opposed to other plumbers that make everything seem urgent). Pete is SUCH a nice guy- very friendly to dogs and kids- he is honest, a hard worker, and someone you can be totally comfortable having in your home. I found my go-to plumber!

I contacted Pete on January 21 to perform some plumbing services as I was in the midst of a bathroom remodel. Specifically, I asked him to install two new shutoffs for the vanity and to extend them further to accommodate my new cabinet installation. He contacted me by email a few hours later, I called him and he offered to come the following day, mid=morning. He called first thing that morning to apprise me of his arrival time. He arrived as he promised, looked at the job, and indicated the cost would be $150. I accepted and he proceeded to complete the job in a bit under an hour. He tested the valves for leakage and they tested fine. He noticed that my new drain pipe I had installed had a metal fitting and he suggested that it would be better to stick with plastic, so the fittings would be plastic to plastic, He installed the plastic fitting and improved the installation. All materials were included in the $ 150 charge and it appeared that he used high quality valves in the installation. He was professional, thorough, and well experienced in his work. It is a pleasure to do business with someone who is highly responsive, follows through on his commitments, provides all information up front on costs and completes the job to meet the customers needs. This was very helpful to me as I removed the old cabinet, purchased new cabinets and am doing as much as I can on my own, relying upon professional help only for those portions of the job that go beyond my skills. I will rely upon Pete the Plumber for my future plumbing needs as he is responsive, trustworthy, forthright and fair in his pricing. In my searching of Angie's list it seemed hard to believe that Peter would be able to live up to all the positive reviews and comments-- but he in fact did in with my experience with him.I would recommend him particularly to people who are going to do some remodeling on their own but are going to need some limited professional assistance for portions of the job that go a bit beyond average handyman skills.

I called Pete at 11:30 and he was here by 1:30. Very pleasant and professional. He assessed the situation very quickly, then cleaned the drains that were clogged. He checked and double checked to be sure everything was running smoothly before he left. He also inadvertently fixed another problem with the toilet at the same time that we had been having for a few years. Every time it was flushed it would make a noise in the kitchen sink. I would recommend him very highly.

He got her promptly when he said he would. Performed the services requested.
