He did what he was supposed to do, he is good at it. and extremely friendly.

This is a perfect example of a installation that goes wrong because of a factory-defective heater which was at first working fine, but failed a day later -- a circumstance beyond Pete's control. It is, at the same time, a perfect example of a contractor who cares about his customers and is very willing to "go the extra mile" and get the problem solved quickly -- the second heater was picked up and installed in less than two hours (including the removal of the defective heater), outside of "normal" working hours (in the evening). Pete is a highly qualified and professional plumber. I highly recommend him.

When he got to the job, and halfway with the removal, he said to my fiance. Job too big. Can't do it. You will have to call someone else and by the way 285$. If I was there he would not have been paid that is for sure. Don't anyone use him.

I dropped a very expensive item when cleaning it this morning. It fell into the garbage disposal opening & as I tried to retrieve it from the opening, it fell through and became snagged under one of the blades. After 10 fruitless minutes of trying to free it, I found Pete on this site and called him. He recognized that this was an emergency and came right away. I thought he'd have to remove the garbage disposal unit, but he was able to free the item without doing that. He did this so fast that I was able to get to work sooner than I thought I would. Nice man, and a quick fixer.

Couldn't be happier. He called the night before to say when he'd arrive (late morning) and when he found some time between appointments, he actually showed up about three hours early. We've had a leak under the sink for a while now...there was a crack in one of the metal/plastic things where pipes are attached and plumber's tape Band-Aid I applied may have slowed the amount of water coming through but it didn't solve the problem. Also, water had been trickling from under the hot water tap. Pete handled everything as professionally and smoothly as possible. The trickling tap ended up requiring a complete change-out of the sink fixtures (Pete said he'd be back in three months if he tried some quick fix) and even with travel time to get the sink parts, he was still in and out within two hours. He covered the floor, cleaned up after himself, explained everything and was as personable and pleasant as could be. My partner said he thought the price was a little steep, but after be charged $258 a year or two back for a competitor to switch out a freaking toilet wax ring, $400 for a leak fix, new hardware and installation was OK by me. And as I'm fond of saying, the peace of mind in knowing it's fixed and done well, is priceless. I also showed him a seasonal issue we have downstairs but he said it was an HVAC issue and out of his realm...I appreciated the honesty.

It went well. He got right back to me quickly and set up an appointment. He also put down plastic on the carpet to keep it clean. I am pleased with the job and the sinks work. I recommend him and would use him again.

OMG !!! First off Pete was awesome. Great price for great service. Straight forward and upfront. Called about 9:00. Told me he would be there in about 2 hours. He showed up as he said. I told him my issue he quoted me a price and off to work he went. He covered the floor and wall where he was working and fixed both issues in a couple hours. One was previously worked on by a different plumber and not fixed properly. Pete was great. Highly recommened.

He was there even before the scheduled time.clean,professional,polite,even educated me about how to prevent problems in the future,and about what he was doing.

Pete is fantastic! Came home from work to a clogged toilet. Called Pete at 7pm and he was at my door by 7:15.. Took him a few minutes to find the problem, but once he found the issue, gave me a price and was finished by 8:30. He put down plastic to protect my hard word floors and cleaned up when the job was done! Excellent work I would definitely call again!

Pete assessed the situation, went and purchased all the materials, came back and spent the better part of the day here. He may not be the cheapest but he is the best. All business.......get in and get out. He is professional, takes pride in his work and picks up after himself. I would highly recommend.

Pete was great. I called him in the morning to make an appointment. We spoke breifly and set up a time for later that afternoon for him to come by and take a look. He called me back within 15 minutes letting me know that he had some time freed up and he could stop by on his way to his next job. When he got to the house he quickly assessed what the problem was and what we needed to do to fix it. He was able to utilize parts that I had from trying to fix the problem myself and had the job done in an hour.

Pete was very punctual and professional. He explained what he was doing and went over the cost of everything before he began the job. I was very pleased with his work and his work ethic and will definitely recommend him to others.

Pete called me back promptly and even called before arriving to confirm he was on his way. Quite impressive. Pete looked at all the items I was thinking about doing. I didnt have him deal with two leaking outdoor faucets that leak only when they are on. He wanted $200 a piece to fix those. I decided against fixing those because I thought that was a bit expensive. He did offer a bit of a discount if I choose to fix both of those faucets. i declined. The work Pete did was great. What concerned and aggrevated me was Pete both never followed up with me about the toilet he attempted to get parts for and he told me that the cost to replace the faucet was "1 and a quarter" (which means $125 to me) and 1 and a quarter to do the shower head height extension. When I got home I saw my wife wrote him a check for $300 worth of labor- which meant he charged $150 a piece for each item. Pete did not indicate to me that by not doing the outside faucets the labor price for the two items I did want done would have a different price. Which is all I can think of why there was an additional $50 in labor charged. The level of professionalism at the start of the engagement was great. Pete did not follow through on that professionalism with his labor cost charges and follow through in any followup.

Pete responded soon after I left a message at the service. We arranged repair for the next morning. He called later the same day as the first call and said he was in the area - would it be ok to come by now. Pete was here w/in minutes. The repair (snaked the drain) was successful. He also gave advice on other plumbing areas. He was courteous, friendly and we would call him again if needed.

We were more than pleased with the work Pete did on our broken pipe. We have since used him twice more, one problem was our sub pump died and the cellar was flooding, he came within an hour had a new pump with him and replaced it right away. He is efficient and always reliable. He said we can call him any day any time and he will be there for us. This gives us a great sense .of security. We would recommend him to anyone that is need of a plumber.

Pete was very professional - prompt, friendly, and honest. He showed me where the problem was, gave me a few options, and had the work done in a few hours. Plan to hire him again should I need additional plumbing done!

I found Pete's name on Angie's List and called him on 7/10. He said he would be here the next morning around 8am which he was. He was professional and friendly and quickly figured out what the problems were. He took the time to show me what was going on and answered my questions. I would definitely hire him again and recommend him to friends and family.

Pete is very responsive, professional, timely and provides excellent service! It's also so nice to be able to reach Pete directly rather than to deal with an automated phone system. Pete is an absolute pleasure to work with. I've called him twice in the past month and plan to continue using him in the future.

I called Pete late in the morning and he arrived 2 in the afternoon. There was a leak down in my basement and it seemed to be from the water pipe for the 1st floor bathroom. There was another leak below the sink in one bathroom and another below the sink in the kitchen. All the leaks were fixed right away. Results are wonderful!! Pete explained to me why the leak happened and replaced minimum parts. He is very professional and knows his stuff really well. He is definitely on my to-call list should another plumbing incident take place!!!

This is the second time Pete has completed work for me. He continues to be an outstanding workman...I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone. Polite, eficient and professional and, as he says, he treats your home as if it were his. Thank you again Pete!

Great Experience. Came a day or two after I called - right on time. Finished the job quickly and professionally. I'd call him again without hesitation.

I called Pete the Plumber this morning (5/13/13) he answered his cell immediately. I had a toilet that was slow to drain and water that was dripping down my basement wall near the bathroom. He said, he could come this afternoon or Wed. I agreed on this afternoon. He called me around 1:15 and said, he would be at my home in thirty minutes, and he was. He used the snake to clean out the drain outside then used the snake to clean out the toilet drain inside. He cleaned out and replaced material under the toilet and put the toilet back on. He put plastic down on my floor and covered the walls before he worked on the toilet. He cleaned up after he finished and took the plastic and soiled paper towels away. He was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable.

We initially contacted Pete by email. He responded about 15 minutes later by phone, and came to our house the next morning as agreed to review the work we wanted done. Pete's schedule was generally more flexible than ours and he worked until about 7pm one day. Pete's truck was well stocked with tools and material, which allowed him to quickly move from one task to the next. He was very personable and graciously allowed me to observe him working. The toilet supply valve replacement was complicated by 2 issues: 1- The existing supply valve was located in a tight space against the base molding (which Pete needed to remove to access the old valve and use his torch) - 2- It required shutting off the main water supply to the house. Due to the unknown condition of the curbside main water shutoff valve and the condition of the main shutoff valve in our basement, Pete suggested and with my agreement installed new main shutoff & bypass valves in the basement thus eliminating the need to operate the original basement shutoff valve. Pete's truck was well stocked with tools and materials which allowed him to quickly move from one task to the next. Pete was very personable and graciously allowed me to observe him working.

Called in the morning and told Pete that sump pump was working but did not sound right, like it was constantly running. He had another job but said he could be here around 6 pm which he was. Sump pump was not saveable and he installed a new one.
