Description of Work: My mother called this plumber to fix a leak in a kitchen sink line. He just needed to replace a trap because a hole had worn through the pipe. He replaced the trap and a copper line under the sink but she continued to have problems with the leak and the copper line because the proprietor Mr Zielinski used inferior copper piping. He used red stamped instead of blue stamped copper tubing which has a shorter life span. After a few weeks the copper tubing began to leak along with the trap because of this inferior work and material. She had to call him to come back to fix the line again and do it right this time. He claimed to have fixed it and wanted more money from her because he had to come back for a second time. He over charged her the first time and used shotty materials. He has done this in the past to other people as well. He over charged my aunt as well. She needed to have her toilet snaked which should have taken about 5-10 minutes and costed under $50. He BS'd her into having to buy a new toilet and he charged her for the installation. The total bill came to $750.00. I learned these tactics from a former employee of this busniess who became a tenant of mine. He told me that the proprietor who is Mr. Zielinski himself said to over charge her because she looked like she had money. This is the kind of dishonest business practices he has been doing for over 30 years. As far as the leak in the sink was concered I had to call Al Katz to redo the plumbing job where he only charged my mother for the parts and not for the labor. Al Katz will not recommend Zielinski for any jobs.
