Larry's Landscaping

As another reviewer said, this is a family business that is not only highly professional but also are really nice people. We couldn't be more pleased with the work, and the price was more than reasonable. Larry is a great landscaper who meticulously replaced our entire landscaping in the front of the house. Both he and Patty consulted and planned with us and then executed the entire purchase and placement of shrubs and plants as agreed. Larry spent at least two hours just placing the mulch and making sure that everything was perfect. Patty, his wife, planned and built a short hardscape wall taking her time to make cuts and to consult with us as she was building. The heavy work was done by their son, Joshua, and their "adopted" son, Steve, both ex-Marines who served in Iraq and other dangerous places. Both terrific young men. We had two very large oak trees removed from our front yard and about a dozen in the back yard by Richard Sears Tree Service who did an exceptional job as well. The heavy equipment did take a toll on the lawn which was in need of being replaced anyway. Larry and his team raked up most of the front lawn by hand and replaced topsoil, fertilized, and seeded, covered with straw. The young men did an excellent job of flattening the areas that were occupied by the trees and contouring the entire front. Again, a wonderful job that took much more time than I would have anticipated. As luck would have it, just as they were finishing the lawn, it began to rain softly which was a good thing. Then about a half hour later, there was a monsoon that washed much of the back lawn away along with some of the areas in the front. Larry came back a week later and reseeded and mulched again with no urging on my part. He wants to do a job right. Terrific job. Initally scheduled to do the work two weeks earlier but they called and said it was too hot for sod to be laid. He was worried about the excessive heat burning the new sod. Appreciated the concern . Came as scheduled and did a fantastic job. Highly recommend both for punctuality and professionalism.

It went great, they were very professional and went over and beyond what was on their estimate. Very personable and gave me clear instructions of how to take care of new plants and trees.

Larry did a large landscaping project at our residence at the end of June. My husband and I are over the moon with the end result. We still have people stopping at our home to compliment us on our beautiful landscaping. Of course, we give all praise to Larry's Landscaping and Design!! Last week we noticed two of our 6 coral bells were looking poorly. We called Larry and asked if he'd come take a look. Well today he replaced ALL 6 of the coral bells, re mulched, watered, and did a total clean up like he was never here at NO cost. This company stands behind its work and it's business ethics are beyond reproach! We are humbled by your hard work and integrity to make things right. We are so blessed to have found you!

It went really well from start to finish. I only wish I had called them earlier so this work could have been done in May and not July. As I write this I realize that they may even get busier next year, but indeed they deserve to be. I have had others do smaller jobs, but there was nothing like what Larry, Josh and the team did today. They are very professional from start to finish and cleaned up every speck of debris. In areas where I was not certain, Larry went over my options and guided me through important points which I really did not know. I would, and will use them again and think you will find no better out there.

We recently did patio landscaping done by Larry and his team. The result was awesome, we couldn't be happier but hydrangea plants we planted looked quite yellow when they came in which were the only ones available at that time. Larry and his daughter, Jennifer revisited us today with new healthy looking plants to fix the problem! They replaced both plants, mulched, cleaned up the area. They went above and beyond to make sure we are happy!! His team truly cares about customers and the needs. Absolutely going to work with them in the future and recommend Larry's Landscaping to my neighbors!

I cannot say enough good things about Larry, Patty, their son, and their entire team. From the day we met with Larry and Patty to review the work to be done for them to provide an estimate, we knew they were professionals that knew what they were talking about. We gave them ideas of what we wanted and they listened and provided suggestions that stayed within our budget. We could tell they loved what they did and just wanted us to be happy in the end. The estimate was very reasonable and again, they were willing to work within our budget. They were here on the day they said they would be and worked hard the entire time and cleaned up at the end of the day. Every single person that worked with them was friendly and professional. Larry and his son checked in with us throughout the day to make sure it was looking the way we wanted. When they came back on day 2 to finish the work, they even brought extra flowers (some of our older one's weren't looking so good), soaker hoses to make sure all the new plants survived the dry summer, and a replacement for a broken wheelbarrow (not to mention, they fixed the broken one too!!), all at no charge! Everything came out better than we could've imagined. Again, they were honest, friendly, professional and took pride in their work. We loved working with them and would definitely work with them again without hesitation. I've already recommended them to several of my friends.

Larry and his crew did an awesome job in our patio area. We couldn't be happier with the result, exactly what I was envisioning or even better! His team was super friendly and try to accommodate my needs. Patty, Larry's wife is the reason why I wanted to do the business with Larry's landscaping. She was extremely patient with me working through all the changes I had with plants. I felt that she was really doing her best to make sure that I am happy as a customer. Doug and I are blown away with the end result of the landscaping design and landscaping installation performed by Larry and his crew of 3 courteous, knowledgeable, hard working young men. Patty, Larry's wife, knew exactly what we wanted, which wasn't easy as we have zero knowledge of plants and such! We described to them our vision and they brought it to fruition better than we could have ever imagined. The estimate was spot on, they arrived when they said they would, cleaned up after their work was completed for the day, and finished the job when they said it would be completed. Larry and his crew also installed and relocated our gutter drainage system making it far more esthetically pleasing at next to no extra cost! Larry also helped us with care and maintenance tips for our new oasis!! We have had so many compliments from our neighbors and total strangers are stopping to admire and compliment us on our beautiful landscape design. We can't thank you enough for making our vision a reality.

We got the estimate a little later than expected. The price they quoted was reasonable and the estimate was very detailed and one of the most professional I have seen from a landscaper. They clearly listened closely to our needs and took detailed notes. During the walkthrough, they offered to answer questions unrelated to the project regarding other items around the yard, which we appreciated. Normally we would have had them go ahead with the work. Unfortunately, due to the delay with getting the quote, we had to go with a different option as we were preparing for a party at our house and needed the work completed before that date. Larry and Patty indicated that the delay was cause partially due to the multiple rain days, which is completely understandable. Based on our experience, we would not hesitate to call upon Larry and Patty in the future.

Came out and did a free consultation. Told us what to expect and asked us what our plan was. Sent us an estimate the next week. Couple weeks later planned to come out then they came out two days earlier than expected. Did a great job with our sad little landscape situation. Fixed some of the plants that were worth saving. Several guys all very polite and professional. Larry and his crew were at our house from 10am-8pm even worked during a thunderstorm. We told them they could come back and finish on the day scheduled and Larry insisted it get done that day. Our yard looks beautiful we're so excited.

Larry and Patty came to give an estimate when they said they would. They gave us a reasonable price for the amount of work involved. Came back to do the job at the promised date. They did a great job and everything looked better than expected. Very detail oriented, very nice edging done. Very professional. Because we needed to take pictures, they did not seed the grass the first time, but came back couple of weeks later to do the seeding as promised. Would definitively use them again and recommend them.

Larry and his son showed up on time for the estimate. They were patient and extremely knowledgeable about what we were looking to have done,offering advice on the type of trees that would thrive and providing suggestions on our plantings. This was not an easy job, as it involved removing old brick mulch and replacing with dark mulch and digging/planting three large trees in a hard to reach border area of our yard. Promptly provided an estimate that was fair and reasonable. Provided the full range of services earlier than the estimated date of work. His staff were neat, professional and extremely competent. The results of the work is exceptional. Our yard and landscaping has never looked better. Larry and his staff clearly take a great deal of pride in their work. We highly recommend Larry's Landscaping and will certainly use them again in the future.

It went great, right from the start when Larry and Patty arrived right on time to review what I was looking for and gave a very reasonable estimate. When Larry and his team arrived they went right to work, the 4 men worked straight for 4 hours. Larry was certain to ask if I was pleased and his team was very professional and hard working. They worked very clean and organized, great attention to detail.

Went great the whole crew takes pride in their work. Very neat and organized . I have been using Larry and his team for almost 5 years . I own a million dollar home and only trust the best to work on it.. These guys are the best for landscaping period...

Larry's Landscaping Service was a pleasure to work with. They did a great job on the yard for the agreed upon price which was reasonable. They had great advice for some of my problem areas. I'm already looking for projects to hire them for in the future!

The crew of 5 guys came exactly when they said they would. Worked for 5 hours cleaning entire yard, cleaning out beds, shrubs, raked whole yard and cut back and trimmed shrubs and plants. They also edged all of my flower beds. The did an excellent job and were meticulous cleaning up everything. My yard looked beautiful when they left. I highly recommend Larry and his crew and will definitely use him again.

Larry's service was great. Not only did they match a lower quote from another provider, they managed to get us in within a week and a half of their initial visit to put together an estimate for us. They were easy to communicate with via email and Angie's list. I abhor talking on the phone, and their willingness and ability to communicate electronically made me very happy. They arrived on time for the estimate and were very friendly. I received an emailed estimate within 24 hours. They matched a lower quote for services and arrived on the scheduled day to clean up the yard. They hand raked the yard, blew the leaves out from under the bushes, cleaned up all the branches and dead fall on the edge of our property where we are trying to grow blackberries, and removed a huge amount of leaves and acorns we didn't get to before Winter. They also removed all of the dog waste (with no extra fees!) that we'd missed due to the snow. Larry and his team didn't shy away from anything in our yard and did a stellar job. All of the branches, twigs, even trash blown into yard was removed and hauled away before we got home from work. The yard looks so much better and I would definitely recommend them for this service. In fact, I hope to use them for other landscaping projects in the future.

It went really well - we were very pleased with the results. Larry and his team were professional, knowledgeable, responsive, prompt, showed up when they said they were going to (which is a small wonder in itself), did a great job. Our yard looks so much better! They are also friendly, polite, nice people. Revised our invoice down from the original quote to match the scope of work actually performed. We would definitely use them for any yard work in the future.

The process was very smooth and efficient. Larry came by a couple weeks in advance to perform a free estimate. After he visited, the estimate was sent through email a few days later and he scheduled an appointment to come do the work a week later. Larry and his team were in and out in about an hour and did an amazing job. The garden looks great and I will definitely be calling them back in the Spring!

Larry and his team were very responsive , accommodating and professional. The returned my inquiry the same day - schedule a vista to walk through our needs and proved a quote. They were able to do the work quickly and even took pictures so we could see the results. I would recommend them to anyone

They showed up on time and were very professional. The advice they gave was great and they explained to me in detail why they did what they did. There were some innovative ideas that they came up with that really softened the landscape. They also provided instruction on how to care for my new landscaping.

The man was kind and accommodating. He had 2 other people with him. They did everything that was asked of them & more. I would say he is a five star landscaper.

They were punctual and very congenial. I loved working with them as they were eager to please and offer suggestions when asked. I would definitely employ their services again. Very personable and thorough. Cleaned up when they were done; left everything pristine.
