Ken was reliably responsive via phone when I needed an estimate and then when I wanted to move forward. You just need to leave a message and he will call you back in the early evening. He was able to give me an estimate over the phone which was nice (and this is what I paid). On the day of work, Ken and Brad were on time and ready to go right away. They finished up in a few hours and everything was exactly how we wanted it. I couldn't have been happier with their quality and efficiency. We got a few other estimates and KT was the lowest of those that were able to actually call back or show up. Incredibly, one company estimated $2100 for the same job (3 times as much) so I'm glad I included KT in the folks I called. The only thing I would suggest to them was to vacuum up after work. There were some wire trimmings/insulation bits around that my 2 year old came across. Overall, I was really pleased with the work, would not hesitate to recommend them, and will use them again in the future.

Excellent service. They were in and out and on time. Wasn't complicated work, but they were very professional. Would highly recommend them.

Job well done as expected, no issues. The only feedback would be to be more careful in protecting floors and carpeting. Dirt and debris were tracked through house.

Went well and works properly. We feared this was gong to be a big job as it involved the pool pump at my son's home. He had just returned from tour of duty in Kuwait. It was Labor Day weekend. He called me to suggest an electrician. I went to Angie's List, as the last one i picked from the yellow pages did not do a good job. My son called KT, explained the situation. KT said pool problems can be a big job, but he agreed without hesitation, came first thing Tuesday after the holiday, and turned out, the first thing he checked was the source of the problem! My son was extremely happy and very satisfied with the work.

The company showed up on time, went to work and 1 hour later it was done. Very satisfied with the work. The price was the same as he quoted over the phone.

Arrived on time (actually early) for agreed upon appointment. After explaining the problems, Ken quickly diagnosed the problems and corrected them including the installation of the time switch. The work was done quickly and the worksite was left clean.

I had hired Ken before to repair an outdoor outlet for my pool pump, so I called him again for these small jobs. We set a date for the work, and he arrived promptly. Easily figured out where to split off the branch circuit for my microwave and stove, and ran a dedicated line from a new breaker. Now the breaker doesn't trip when I use my microwave and toaster oven at the same time, YAY! I had also pointed out a wire that was added by the previous homeowner that had a splice in it. Obviously not up to code. So he replaced the entire run from the breaker panel to the outlet. Entire job took less than two hours, including cleanup. No signs he was there, except for the new wire. Totally satisfied and will call him again for my future electrical needs.

Arrived right on time. Very professional. Basic electrical work. It took him and his partner a couple of hours. Great job and a nice guy.

The contractor arrived at 0915 am. he rang the door bell and introduced himself and his helper. Then I took them to the basement, I showed them the fuse box that I had, and I bought a New Box from Home Depot and he informed him that I wanted to install the 200 Amp Box in its place. He informed me that it would be know problem to install and that he could us the same breakers I have in my existing box because the two boxes are from the same manufacturer and maker. Then I took them out side and showed them where the line came into the home. His helper started taking the meter out and then the contractor went inside and started on removing and replacing the box. They replaced meter box and put up a Conduit pole for the heavy duty down line wire that would come into the home on the side of the house, it goes straight threw the roof and extends 3 feet above the roof, so the wires do not touch the roof when they are attached to the service. The New Box I purchase from Home Depot the electrician had in within 4 hours all the breakers and wires connected and the heavy duty wire for the 200 Amp service. After they where done they pick-up all the trash and sweep up and deposed all the trash and took any thing that was scrap away. They where finished around 1:15 pm and the invoice was in my hand for final payment. THe payment was for exactly what was quoted know more. They where very professional all the way.

They were awesome! Both of them were right on time just like they said. They got straight to work and were down within the hour. Ken noticed that the breaker for the pool was not correct and changed it for me right away so we could be safe. The chandelier was put up within the hour - which I could have never done! And Ken even showed me how to use the pool timer. I felt they went above and beyond for us and I when the time comes we will use KT Electric again.

I contacted KT thru Angie's List email and he responded within a half day. We scheduled an appointment time and he arrived within the agreed upon time frame. I explained what needed to be done and within 25 minutes, Ken and his helper were done. He quoted a preliminary estimate of $200 for the three small jobs. When he was done he said " since the job became smaller than I thought it be how about only $100?" I said "sure thanks" and that I would always contact him should I need an electrician in the future. The defective smoke alarm was a new item that we had installed ourselves and after describing the problem he said he would take the defective new one and swap it out. We have had no 11 pm or midnight smoke alarm wake ups the past 48 hours so I am confident he found the problem. It's nice to have a working outdoor light and a wall receptacle that doesn't need to be wiggled to get it to stay connected.

When we called these guys they came out right away and gave us a good job and did a great job putting the ceiling fans in the bedrooms. They were really secure and added so much more coolness to the house during the Summer time if the air conditioning went out. They did a really good job and I spent $500.

I've used Ken before, which is why I called him with this problem. I called him on a Friday. His schedule allowed him to come on Monday afternoon. He diagnoses and works conservatively, which I appreciate because it means I don't have to jump into a big project, perhaps costing $$$, at the start. After moving a couple of pieces of furniture to follow the line from the microwave (the line also services the stove top vent fan and a couple of outlets in the family room) to the breaker, he decided to change out the microwave outlet thinking that it might be the problem. If it's not, then I'll hire him to put in a line specific for the microwave. I truly appreciate his recommending we try a new outlet first. Having lived in this house less than a year, I'm still in the process of figuring out what needs to be repaired and updated, and as we all know, it all costs money.

Ken was very accommodating to our schedule. He scheduled his work the day after the delivery of a 20 x 12 shed. When the shed delivery was delayed, Ken altered his schedule to meet the new delivery date. Ken and his assistant were extremely professional and friendly. They worked quickly and efficiently, and provided excellent service at a very reasonable price. I would definitely use KT in the future, and recommend this company very highly.

Ken and his employee arrived as scheduled. They took a look at the kitchen, reviewed what I asked for and went to work. Ten minutes in to the job I asked him if he could reposition a kitchen light he was supposed to have just replaced. He obliged without hesitation. Ken removed one of the existing kitchen lights and drilled two holes to install pendant lghts over the island. His employee removed a second existing light and drilled a hole for a new light so the light would be centered in a row with the new pendant lights and centered over the kitchen table. They were very professional and worked quickly. They cleaned and swept up after the job too.

Ken arrived promptly at the appointed time on Saturday morning 4/5/14. He quickly replaced the light switch. He was very pleasant and offered practical advice about another wall light switch. I had previously called another contractor who after FOUR phone calls finally told me that he was too busy and MIGHT get to me in 4 weeks! Ken called me back in minutes after my FIRST phone call and took care of the problem within a few days. (On a Saturday due to my work schedule.) Thank you, Ken!!

After trying several closer electricians, who either did not return calls or who refused to drive up the hill to our home in Knox, we called KT, who set up a time within a couple of days of our call. He arrived promptly and was pleasant, efficient, and helpful. He checked and replaced two outlets, determined the cause of a flickering light and replaced that switch, and replaced another loose light switch. We will definitely call him again.
