Ken was great. We bought one of the $99 deals for 2 hours of service. We ended up hiring him to do more because he did such a good job. He was thorough, prompt, and professional. I called him the day after our coupon had expired - I had completely forgotten about it - he was very kind and honored the coupon. The first day, he realized we had much more work than the 2 hours. He stayed a little longer and then came back 2 weeks later to finish up our other projects. He followed up like he said he would and came back when he said he would. We have had some bad experiences with contractors and electricians, and we were very happy to find someone we will hire again. We strongly recommend Ken.

l couldn't be happier. I really was impressed with his professionalism. He said he'd be at my home at 8 a.m. and he was here at 7:45 but waited in his truck until 8:00, drinking his coffee. I let him in, showed him the basement, he installed the surge protector and I showed him the other items I wanted done and he went right to work and had it all done in 60 minutes. We talked some of the time while he worked and I found him to be very pleasant and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

All the work was done for the $99 Angie's list special plus another $250. I felt satisfied with the price and reassured that my home wiring is safe and done correctly. The electrician was polite, reasonable, and competent...I am very satisfied and I would use KT Electric again if I need electrical work done again.

Everything went extremely well. This guy is extremely personable and I was comfortable leaving him at the house as I had to go to work. He explained everything he would do and explained everything he did at the end of the day. Plan on using him in the future to install outlets in the basement when the time comes.

Ken came out right away to give a free estimate and we had something scheduled in a few weeks to update all the outlets and to ground a few with large appliances. He was quick, professional, clean, and we had such a great experience. We thought the price was fair and he delivered all that was promised. Thanks!

KT was prompt on the day of the appointment. They quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired my ceiling fan and switch plus replaced another defective switch. They were courteous and clean. i would definitely use them again. In fact i plan to have them replace a light in my mother's house.

Ken arrived on time and was his usual friendly self. He was a big help because I had just had surgery. He went right to work and did a quality job with no problems. Everything looks great. This was the 3rd time I have used his services and I have always been happy with the results.

Called KT, the electrician that came out was courteous and the price seemed reasonable. His solution was to replace two 20 AMP circuit breakers that were powering the dryer with one 50 AMP circuit breaker. He assured me this was the problem. The next time I used the dryer I saw that it was overheating and automatically shutting off even though the circuit breaker was not tripped. We called him again and asked him to come back and look at it. He told us it was our dryer that was faulty and it was not the electric service. He maintained this stance even after we explained that this was our third dryer and the previous two were damaged by this problem. We told him we are sure that the dryer is not the cause. He said then he had no idea what the problem could be! We then called in a second electrician who immediately noticed that even when shut off that there was power going through the used circuit breaker installed by KT. This caused a dangerous situation for anyone doing work thinking the power was shut off. The second electrician also saw that the wiring was insufficient for the dryer. ( the house was built in 1938) He said that putting in a 50 AMP circuit breaker with wiring that was designed to support 20 AMPs was a fire hazard and any electrician should have know better. The second electrician removed the 50 AMP breaker installed by KT and replaced it with an appropriate sized 30 AMP breaker. He upgraded the wiring from the box to the dryer outlet from 20 AMP wiring to 30 AMP wiring. This fixed the issue and I have had no problems with the dryer since.

Very well. KT Electric showed up on-time...the work went smoothly...I thought this would be a tough job, but it was done very competently,and with much care taken for working in the 3 bedrooms. Really liked the type of switches that were installed resulting in a VERY neat appearance The three fans look great and work,really move the air. I would HIGHLY recommend KT Electric... This guy was awesome. Neat work, and he really knew what he was doing. I would call him again in a heartbeat. He didn't even stay the whole two hours, he accomplished everything I needed done in an hour.

He arrived about 15 minutes earlier than scheduled; got right to work; made use of existing equipment that he could retrofit with new; and got it done in less time than I had anticipated. He was experienced and professional. I would certainly use him again for much larger jobs when the need arises.

I had an appointment with Ken, and I have someone who was going to meet him and he forgot to cancel the appointment I had. Ken arrived and called me and I told him I was 3 hours away and the person that was supposed to meet him was supposed to call and change the appointment, Ken was very nice about the mixup and he called my handyman to set a new appointment, I also told him that my handyman was going away in a few days and he met with him before he went away so yes I would use him again.

Overall, the experience could not have been better. I have already asked Ken to come back and install a couple more outlets. Living in an old house can be a pain but if you hire Ken to run some power, things aren't so dim.

Ken was very responsive, called when he said he would, arrived not just on time but early to provide an estimate. I showed him the switch area, described what happened and explained that the wire entered the house in a crawl space not accessible under an addition. He checked it all out and actually discovered that the feed from the pool had been taped to a shorter cord with a plug behind my furnace that had somehow become unplugged. Obviously this had not been wired properly by whoever did this before I owned the house and fortunately for me Irene killing the switch actually brought to light an unsafe setup.We discussed what needed to be done, Ken provided an estimate and said he could do the work in a couple of weeks. Only a few days later he called to see if he could come by that afternoon since he'd had a cancellation. Ken arrived on time, did all of the work we discussed and I now not only have a proper switch installation but also an extra outlet in the pool area, something I'd wanted for a while.This was one of the most pleasant experience I have ever had with a contractor. Ken was honest, friendly and on top of that probably saved me a ton of money by finding the problem and eliminating the need for a whole new power run.I have other electrical work to be done and will hire him again.

He was in a bit of a rush, so I had to ask him to take apart the old fan so that I could dispose of it. That was my only complaint. When I pointed it out, he was happy to do it, but he seemed to be in a rush.

We had an antiquated main panel in our home that had older style breakers in them. The panel used to get very hot in the Summer when the central A/C unit would be used, and the wires were loose. Ken replaced the inner workings of the panel and the breakers. We also needed to have an additional outlet put in our 3 season room, and he was able to install that as well. Ken was very punctual and reasonably priced. I would use KT Electric again.

They intstalled undercabinet lighting in my brand new kitchen. They drilled right through my cabinets.The screws are still sticking through the cabinets with thier sharp points. Wen i called KT electrics they left a message on my machine saying there were the screws nails that came with the lights so they took no responsibility.

It went very well. Ken was prompt, friendly, very knowledgable and efficient. He worked on a half dozen household projects and completed the work in about half the time I thought it would take. I was very satisfied with the results. Ken was offering a special rate for Angie's LIst members, so the cost was very reasonable.
