Description of Work: The lock on the front door was frozen; the key could be inserted but wouldn't budge. I tried WD40 to no avail. That's when I contacted John. John answered my call and we set up an appointment. He arrived on time. He tried the key and while it didn't turn easily, it did work. I asked him what I owed him (for the service call) he told me that he didn't do anything, so there was no charge.

 + -1 moreJohn returned my initial call within ten minutes. We discussed the issue and he suggested an inspection of the lock to determine my needs. We set an appointment, but a late start on my part forced a reschedule. Due to John's practice of a call before getting to the job, we reschedule the appointment for the next day. John again called before coming to my home; upon my confirmation he arrived five minutes later. After inspecting the lock, he determined a simple cylinder change was needed. As the lock was old, I was expecting a complete changeout. He changed the required parts, checked his work a number of times to ensure locks and keys worked correctly. He also explained the procedure to in the event lost keys needed to be replaced the future. John was a complete and professional locksmith, and an honest person. Look no further if your need any locksmith services.
Description of Work: Needed to replace a garage door lock. The lock was old and the keys were long gone. Time for a new lock.

 + -1 moreMr. Becker was very punctual and arrived at the agreed upon time. He effected the requested repairs quickly. His in depth knowledge and professional work ethic were immediately apparent. Mr. Becker`s fee for services rendered was reasonable. He was pleasant and cheerful. I will definitely contact Mr. Becker again, should the services of a locksmith be required.
Description of Work: Mr. Becker is outstanding in every respect; professional, very knowledgeable, punctual and personable. I will not hesitate to contact this gentleman again, should I require the services of a highly qualified locksmith. I recommend Mr. Becker without reservation.

Description of Work: I lost the key for my car which I learned is expensive to replace since it has a security chip in it. I called all over and most locksmiths said only the dealer could replace it. This is an older car and I really did not want to spend much on replacement. The dealer wanted $90 for the key and $50 to program it. I called John and he quoted me a fair price. The best part is that he came right to my location. I was at work and didn't even have to take time off. He was prompt and professional and the key works well. I highly recommend!
