Jason led his expert and professional crew in removing the large tree, which was located close to other trees, power lines, and the house, with no collateral damage. The stump and extensive root system were ground down to allow landscaping of the area. The area was thoroughly cleaned up. The whole job was done very efficiently. A bucket truck, large stump grinder, and chopper were utilized in the work. The price was better than our landscaper could have offered by subcontracting the work.

The owner and crew showed up early in the morning. They started working right away. They brought all kinds of heavy equiptment and worked straight through, even when it started raining. They actually cut and lift every limb in the air without touching the ground. We had power lines going through the tree and they were careful not to hit them. They ground down the stump and cleaned all of the debree away. The owner JJ and the crew were curtious and pleasant. We were all very pleased.

He was prompt, made a quick assessment and gave a great price, especially considering all the damage surrounding the storm. In fact, it was cheaper on a per tree basis than some bulk tree removal we had done earlier in the summer. I wouldn't hesitate to call JJ again, He's our tree guy from now on!

We were planning to install an above ground pool last June and realized we could get alot more sunshine if a couple of trees on our neighbors property were removed. After getting permission from our neighbor, we got a couple of quotes for the work. Jason's quote was the first and I didn't really feel the need to get another. Jason was professional, explained exactly how he would complete the work, and had a reasonable price. The only potential issue was the length of time until he anticipated being able to complete the work. We wanted to get the trees removed before the pool was installed. We did get a second quote but it was more expensive and we didn't get the same kind of explanation around how the work would be completed. Jason had explained that he would be able to use a crane from our front yard to remove our neighbor's trees. This meant that there wouldn't be any equipment into our neighbor's yard, which I thought was great. Jason also uses plywood under truck tires or equipment tracks where necessary to prevent the heavy equipment from wrecking the yard. Jason fit our work into his schedule before the pool was to be installed. In addition to the tree's removed in the backyard, we had dead branches pruned off large oak and maple trees in our front yard. (a big improvement). By the time I got home from work, everything was done and cleaned up. High marks to JJ's for a job well done.

Jason was very prompt and courteous at the intial meeting to give a quote. After walking over the property, pointing out exactly which trees were to be removed and/or were problematic, he made the suggestion that instead of taking down every tree that several were still in very good condition and could simply be trimmed. His suggestions were excellent. He provided the quote on the spot and we agreed on a date for him to come. It was longer than I wanted but he had other committments. He knew I wanted it done sooner so as soon as he had an opening in his schedule, he brought the whole team and several large vehicles. They were on time the day of the work: 7:30am. Jason himself stayed onsite and managed the team himself the entire day. His workers were very courteous and cleaned up EVERYTHING as they worked. After all the trees were taken down, stumps removed, they loaded all the large lumber up in their trucks, shredded the smaller stuff. There was still a lot of debris left at the back of the lot, adjacent to the forest behind the house. Using a small back hoe, they cleaned out any remaining debris, taking it back into the forest a few feet. They also evened the ground out a bit--it had rained several days and the ground was still soft so where they had run the back hoe, there were tracks as well as a lot of tree debris. Finally, I requested some mulch; the very next day, a load was dropped in a very convenient location even though I wasn't home. Everything about my experience with JJ's Tree Service was EXCELLENT. I recommend them VERY HIGHLY.
