The contractor gave me a start date of May 15th and a job duration of about 3 weeks. They showed up on May 15th as promised and began working immediately on removing and replacing the front porch. They were very professional at all times and kept a very neat and clean work zone around the complete house which was very much appreciated. The work progressed at a very good rate even when they encountered delivery problems from their supplier for the siding needed to complete the house. Also we ran into about a week and a half of pop-up thunderstorms that cut the amount of time down available to do some of the work so instead of 3 weeks to complete the job it took about 3 1/2 weeks. Which considering the weather, I felt was well within the time range I was given. The workmanship on the siding, front stoop, structural columns, gutter and windows was exceptional and I have received nothing but compliments from neighbors and people stopping by during the construction phase. The final cost of the project was consistent with the original estimate. This made me very happy because this was an area that I had been told could be a problem because of what can be encountered after removing old siding and the extra work that can be encountered. I would not hesitate in the least to recommend or use G & A Custom Homes again for any of my remodeling or maintenance projects . The only complaint I have is that during construction I allowed G & A to store their equipment in a backyard shed and gave them a key to the lock which I never got back and this is probably more my fault than theirs.

G & A completed the job in two days time as agreed upon.

It promised to be wonderful but at the end of the day it was fine, not great. I really liked the guy and I think timing was off for both of us. The siding that he fixed was really not fully taken care of. Another part of the job was well beyond the time allotted because we had siding that was vertical not horizontal. So, essentially a lot of the broken channels at the bottom that we expected to be replaced were not replaced. He's gotten good reviews and I can see that he would get good reviews, I think that the timing was just not good for him and because of that for both of us. I couldn't follow up with him in a timely manner and he couldn't follow up with me. I guess he got really busy. It was somewhat disappointing. That's alright, I would still recommend him with a tight lease. I had to buy extra supplies and I ordered too much. I think I still have some channels so if I want to try to do that crazy work to try and install them at least I have the materials. One of the things that I am displeased about is that we agreed he would do another job completely separate from the Big Deal and he never got around to doing that. That's really basically what really disturbed me. He was really friendly and I got to know his family. He seems to be a good being and a good family man and a good worker there were just a few things that went wrong.

It wasn’t worth the money. There were no additional charges as I had purchased the special.

They were nice and courteous. It had nothing to do with them.

I called and left a message for this provider and he never returned my call.

Very accommodating to our schedule. Performed and completed the work on a Sunday morning. Provided a close match to shingles on our house. I had underestimated the roof dimensions. Geno prorated the additional cost based on the advertised deal. Very pleased with results!

Roof needed moss removal. G & A Custom Homes was very nice, reasonably priced and did a fantastic job! Highly recommend this company and would definitely use again!

We're still planning on getting the work done. Geno has given us the best estimate by far and since his work is lifetime guaranteed including labor we definitely weren't going to let it pass up.

They were on time and they did a good job. It was quality work.

Gino and assistant arrived a little early and introduced himself with his card--very professional touch!! We discussed the repair work needed for the vinyl siding and windows and they performed ALL beautifully. We also made a 360 degree review of the entire outside of the house and improvements were suggested and discussed. A follow-up estimate for more work, as discussed, was promised.

The contractor showed up promptly at the day and time he had promised and began inspecting my home. He re-attached the lose siding to my home and then fixed so additional areas to the siding and fascia that I was not aware of. He did not do any re-sealing of my windows because they were replaced a couple of years ago and after inspection they did not require any work. I asked for an estimate for re-siding the entire house and told him I would be looking for other quotes from different contractors. After a very detailed inspection he gave me an estimate detailing all the work he would need to do to my home. They offered a number of different siding and installation options and a detailed list of what work was required. I was very pleased with the professional attitude and competence shown by Gino and will not hesitate to use the services of G & A Custom Homes again.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They were fine. It wasn't a big job and I wasn't here when they did it. They showed up when they were supposed to.

It went well. There were delays with getting materials that could have been communicated better. The price was just as quoted. No surprises. This was the fourth job Geno has done for me. I already asked him to do another job for me.

Geno and his crew showed up when they were supposed to, replaced the roof, charged what he said he was going to charge and everyone is happy!

purchased the Roofing Deal with this company. I had not heard from him after the purchase even after I sent emails and left voicemails. I asked Angie's List for a refund which they quickly took care of and apologized. Several months later I received a call from the owner asking to set up the roofing assessment. He was unaware that the refund had occurred or that I had contacted him several times to schedule. He too apologized but did not offer to schedule the work.

It didnt go well. the date entered for service is a guess. As I already stated no one responded to my request. I was refunded my money.

Gino and his father met me at a dunkin donuts near my house where they explained the job in terms I could understand; he broke down what I'd be getting for the money, and asked if I had any questions. Gino was great about keeping me posted on the start date and other than a small hiccup regarding a miscommunication about their ability to start on a certain date versus a later one, things went smoothly and without a hitch. Work was completedly quickly and now that the sun has baked the tiles down a bit, everything looks great. My one complaint would be that there were some nails and roof scraps left around the place and Gino said someone would stop over to clean up a bit, but I'm not sure it happened - regardless it's not as if they were everywhere on the property and I do understand it's hard to keep all the debris collected when removing an old roof, so I've just been picking them up as I find them. Between the savings I enjoyed and the speed with which everything was completed I'm very happy with the job and would recommend them to anyone.

Originally, it was the first time I had used him. They did a great job. They were on time and communicated well. They cleaned up after themselves and gave a good price.

My initial meeting with Gino went well as he and another worker repaired my siding, which was not an easy job as they had to fight off a hive of bees where the repairs were needed, enduring some stings in the process. They also inspected the roof and attic which was part of the initial offer. I was informed that the roof on my front porch overhang was in very bad condition and needed to be replaced. It was also recommended I replace the roof on the house. I asked him to come up with an estimate and get back to me. My initial experience was good. Gino returned to the house a week later with an estimate for the house and porch roof and detailed all the work that would be done. The estimate seemed reasonable but I told him I would think about it and get back to him. After about two weeks I got back to him and let him know I was interested in the porch roof repair but not the house. The roof on the house is 13 years old and I have not had any problems with it to date and felt I could get a few more years out of it before it needed to be replaced. The porch job was a $950 job while the house was $5,000. I could sense the disappointment from Gino that I only wanted the porch roof done but he said he was interested in doing it. He came to my house and gave me a written estimate for the job which I signed. He would get back to me with a scheduled work date. This is where the problem began. I did not hear from Gino for 2 weeks and messages went unanswered. I finally got him on the phone and he apologized for not getting back to me. He said he had some big jobs he was finishing but would get to me after Labor Day and schedule a date to do the job. After not hearing from Gino I sent him a text message the week after Labor Day asking him to call me and schedule the job. I received no reply. Three days later I left a message on his cell phone asking if he was still interested in doing the job and again did not receive a reply. So I can't really give a review of Gino's work since he never did the work or got back to me. If the job was too small for him he should have told me so and not strung me along. At least have the courtesy to tell me so I could find someone else to do the work. It's sad because I liked him from the initial meeting, felt he knew his stuff and would do a good job. And if he had done the porch roof to my satisfaction, I certainly would have called him when the house roof repair was needed. But given this experience, I can't recommend G&A.

He was on time, and pleasant enough but was only here about 40 minutes. I can see some caulking on most of the windows but I was missing a piece of vinyl which I was willing to pay for but he told me he had some and would come back and install the strip of vinyl against the pane. I called after two weeks and he said he'd come by but I've never seen him again. Sent an e-mail also. Hate to say it, but the caulking he used and work performed I could have done for about $10-$15.00. Not pleased with that deal for $149l. I think he was more interested in installing roofs than weather sealing but I'd had a new roof put on a year ago. I did offer him a chance to seal my deck and he said when he would give me an estimate. Never saw or heard from him again.

Very well. Crew was punctual, courteous and neat. Gino and crew worked tirelessly in spite of the grueling heat. Cleaned up well.

I called him after I purchased the big deal and he said he would call me back. He never did. I called again over a month later and left a message, but no one called me back. On the third phone call, he finally scheduled an appointment to come that next Tuesday, but he never showed up.
