Frost Excavating

Description of Work: I contacted Mr. Frost with a gutter and drainage problem. He is extremely busy, but made time to come out and assess the issue. The job was simple, and took only a few minutes, but he was diagnosed the problem and advised me how to proceed. I was so appreciative of his time and professionalism. Thank you, Mr. Frost.

Description of Work: Mr Frost installed some very large rocks in our back yard to create a terraced effect. He did such a great job of installing them that one of our neighbors commented that they loved the stone ledges and wondered why they had not noticed them before. I wanted a natural look and got exactly that. Looks like nature put those big rock there. These stones are up to 10 feet in length and two feet tall. Each weighs, who the heck knows, but a lot. He was not the least expensive but he was very good and knew exactly what he was doing. A third of the cost was the rocks. Who knew very large rocks were so very expensive? But they are. He was prompt, efficient, had great suggestions and I would with him if I had any other excavating, etc. to do. Will use him soon when we replace our driveway.

Description of Work: Courteous, accurate, and does a good job. We have used him frequently staring abou 2002. He recently did work for our granddaughter with re-grading her yard to correct a drainage problem. His price was good and his work also.

Description of Work: Excavated a sink hole in our property. Provider removed the topsoil, dug down to determine the cause of the sink hole, filled the cavity with soil and replaced the topsoil.

Description of Work: I contacted Frost Excavating for a quote. We bought land and we needed a long driveway to the house site. He suggested I check to make sure there was water at the house site because I didn't want to put in a driveway and then not be able to build a house.

Description of Work: I used them for an estimate about installing new paving for a drive way and installing two retaining walls.

Description of Work: We moved into a new home in September, and in the spring we noted that we had severe drainage problems on our property. Our lawn was caved in near the corner of the septic field, and we had a spring leaking around the septic field that was unsightly. Our well was also bubbling water out of the top constantly, making our backyard a skating rink in the winter and a pond in the spring and summer. We contacted Bob Frost excavating to help us with these problems. Bob installed a curtain drain for us that immediately took care of the well problem. He also dug a test hole to determine why we had an area that was caved in near the septic field. It was at that time we discovered that the original installation was done incorrectly. Bob advised us how to best repair the field so we wouldn't have future problems with it. He also was able to divert the water that was constantly oozing from the ground around the field. We now have a picture perfect front lawn. Because we were so happy with all the work that had been completed we also entrusted him to install hardscaping for us that we are thrilled with. We are demanding customers, who only want a "certain" look, and Bob understood that and accomodated our many demands with patience and professionalism. We now have a beautiful stone wall that enclosed a courtyard in the front of our home. Bob also helped us with placing landscaping beds and landscape material in our yard. We are truly thrilled with the results. Bob is always accomodating, and extremely knowlegable. We trust him implicitly with all aspects of excavating and home repair. I would highly recommend this business to the homeowner where quality is important. The job is always done the right way.
