+ -1 moreJob was complete quickly and with quick scheduling. Only reason for one star off is some of the lines are not as straight as would have liked but it looks great and they took care of a few things we asked for that were not how the original was done.
Description of Work: Removal of two old driveways/parking area and repaving. About 1600 sq feet.

+ -1 moreWe had Egan Paving resurface our driveway. It was really well done until you got to the end of the driveway where the driveway grades to the street. They failed to resurface the end of our driveway completely leaving jagged edges on both sides that can be possibly caught by snow plows, snow blowers shovels etc. We called for three straight weeks leaving messages asking them to return and finish the edges. They never responded. We have photographs which are attached. Very disappointed they do not stand behind their work.

+ -1 moreWhen an argument in my neighborhood erupted about the moving of a car so paving equipment could pass, an Egan Pavers employee called my adult male African American neighbor “Boy” and told the neighbor to get a job. The owner did not apologize for the behavior of his employee or reprimand the employee. On their final day of the job, the owner urinated outside of my kitchen window. My 13 year old daughter looked out of the window and saw him. He was not trying to be discrete and he was not covered up. When we talked to the owners son he said he couldn't do anything about it. When I asked for an apology he’s said, “I just need to get off this street.” When I asked if he had a daughter he said “yes” and stormed away from me. This business is unprofessional to a level that should not be tolerated.

+ -1 moreMore than satisfied!! New driveway looks great as well as the new sidewalk too. Great group of guys very friendly an very hard working. Even made for good conversation. Feel they went above an beyond in the work they did. What impressed me most was how Tim spent at least a half hour explaining in detail what he was gonna do what materials were gonna be used an why an that was just during the quote I asked for. May have been a little more money than some of the other quotes but explained a lot more an again feel more materials were used to make sure the job was done right an looked great. A huge thank you to Tim an his team for the work done an look forward to having them back next year for a seal coat on the driveway.

+ -1 moreI had a very good experience with Tim and his crew. From my initial call for an estimate, Tim responded immediately and came the next day to give the estimate. After getting a couple more estimates, I decided to go with Tim. He set up a date and was there exactly as promised. When the job was completed, they cleaned up and everything was back to the way it was. I would definitely recommend Tim and would not hesitate to use again.

+ -1 moreThey did work for my neighbor and messed up my lawn by driving their dump truck over my lawn and creating huge depressions. AFTER my neighbor contacted them to fix it (notice they didn't come on their own), Egan Sr came over and did a super shoddy repair and called it good. Still a 9" ledge in the lawn from a 40 Ton dump truck. What a piece of work! I had them estimate my driveway earlier in the year, and the son was the same. Wanted to do it his way, with no concern for my needs or wants. I wouldn't hire these guys unless I truly wanted to be unhappy. The Father told me he didn't care if I hired them, that they had enough work as is. Just check out the comments above that shows that other people noticed flaws in their work.

+ -1 moreTim and his crew arrived promptly and had the old driveway out in no time. A new base gravel layer was installed and compacted. His paving machine installed the new asphalt quickly and neatly. His crew worked hard and were very careful about finishing the edges neatly and removing any roller marks. The new driveway looks great. They also cleaned up the work area well before leaving. The whole job (25x38 ft area) was completed in less than a full day. I highly recommend Egan Paving.

Tim arrived with his team as promised and completed the work. His work was beautiful. The respect for my property relative to the final clean up and the placement of his trucks and other paving equipment was commendable. He took extra time to review the stewardship needs for the driveway for the next 6 months and into the future. From start to finish Tim and his team at Egan Paving made the entire process painless and turnkey, and the final results were great.

+ -1 moreI could not give a more positive review everyone was very professional and also very polite I feel as though if I had a flat tire anyone of the crew members would've offered to fix it before I could have even asked. Very very nice and also professional people working for this organization. It's a family business and I know why it's been around for more than 40 years.. I had lots of questions about how the job was being done and Tim Egan was very polite and dealt with my questions professionally without giving me the brush off.. I did not comment and grade the price because I don't know how they are priced compared to others. The other quotes I received seemed as though the companies did not understand exactly the quality of a job that we wanted and so we did not go with them. But my husband certainly felt that the price was fair for the job that was done we are extremely happy with it. They even made sure to check the drainage by spraying water all over before they left.
Description of Work: Total dick out and replace of driveway and base layer. Our current driveway was in very bad repair with a very deep pits and it was degrading to the point that weeds were growing out of it. Because we have a clay base here there were tracks that were deep where car tires drove over it and then a hill in between. My husband wanted to do the job the way it would be done in a commercial application. Just like would be done in a parking lot or a driveway for commercial size vehicles. I want to establish that it's not that Egan tried to sell us on this extra special job it was our plan before we even hired a contractor. They removed the old asphalt they dug down and removed many inches of stone base they leveled everything to have a proper pitch for drainage they laid a base of many inches of crushed stone and then a base of asphalt with a cloth barrier in between the clay that is our base and the crushed stone that came before the asphalt. One week later they arrived fixed anything that was not exactly the pitch that they wanted made adjustments and laid the topcoat.

They provide a timely response with a competitive price. The day of the job a crew of around 8 workers arrived who were all very polite and friendly. The finished driveway came out beautiful.

Since my house is downhill from the street, I was to concerned that if the driveway/pavement went right up to the edge of the garage floor, water would flow into my garage when it rained. However, they designed it so that doesn't happen. I was impressed. They know what they're doing. And they worked quickly and efficiently.
