Steve called me the night before and said that they would be on site at 8:00 a.m. They arrived promptly at 8:00 with all sorts of equipment. Existing driveway was removed, new driveway was installed and a beautiful job was done. They were very careful not to injure my new walkway and retaining wall. The men were very polite and very professional. I would recommend this company.

I was very pleased with quick response time not only showing up on the job but returning calls. The driveway is beautiful. Everything was cleaned up when the work was done.

The work was for a second property of mine, so all the work was discussed over the phone and email. Overall, my experience was positive. They were very professional, returned my calls and sent an email of the list of work to be done. They also pointed out 2 other things to help improve the driveway. My neighbor next to the property who was checking up on the work for me said it looked really good. They were very professional and responded in a timely manner. The price was a little higher than other bids but it was worth it to have the job done correctly. I will probably be using them again.

My driveway now looks brand new. I was impressed with the fact that Tim worked right along with his team. Most owners just supervise, but Tim worked just as hard as his workers. Tim's team was professional, neat, polite and got the job done in one day. They were a great team and I'm glad I hired them to do the job. I'll have them back next year to seal my new driveway.

They did an excellent, "old-school" job with careful attention to detail. It looks _so_ much better!! I've had compliments from several neighbors; more important, I feel sure the driveway will last. I got estimates from 4 companies, and Egan's was one of the more expensive ones. However, their estimate was also one of the most detailed about exactly what would be done. I talked with my brother, who worked on a paving crew during the summers when he was in school, and he thought Egan offered the best mix of quality workmanship and cost. I'm a big believer in "you get what you pay for", so while Egan did cost more, they also did very high quality work. They were worth every penny!

Overall, driveway looks great with one exception. Both side edges are wavy detracting from the otherwise nicelooking finished product. More care should have been taken to ensure that the edges were straight because the effect of not doing so severely detracts from the end result and looks pretty sloppy to passerby. Also, the compact equipment was parked in our garage so when the owner drove it out over the blacktop, one track was left at entrance of garage, as well as some compacting where driveway meets existing drain causing rain to divert instead of going into drain. Fortunately this only affects one portion of the drain. also, there is an indention in one area where we parked once....after not driving on it for 8 cool daysOverall, this is a very good company who do a good job, albeit minus attention to fine detail. Follow up: 3 wks after the job was done, we had our first significant rain. An hr. after the rain stopped - I had 3 puddles in my driveway (one of the reasons for our deciding to repave it in the first place). When I contacted Mr. Egan, he informed me that it was a "problem driveway with inadequate pitch" and that they could come drive some nail holes into those areas for drainage. Very disappointing response and very disappointing customer service, not to mention finished product.

I emailed them twice requesting an estimate and never heard back from them.

Called to get an estimate. They said they would be out and send a written estimate. Absolutely no contact was made. Its been more than a month.

I got the recommendation for this company from Angie's list and they had also done some work for my brother last year. They were the least expensive of all the estimates I received. They came on time and had the right amount of equipment for the four employees. They operated very smothly and did an excellent job. I have already gotten a lot of compliments from my neighbors on the work. They were very personable and friendly. It was a pleasure to have them at my home.

Estimate was in middle of four estimates obtained. Tim Egan was very responsive to concerns and questions, both in person and via email. They scheduled according to our wishes and came when promised. All five workmen were a well-oiled team and the work was done in a day. The driveway grading is a vast improvement over the former one and eliminated a couple of problems we had. They also improved the grading of the lawn in a small trouble spot next to the driveway. We were very pleased with their work and the results.

Egan was able to recommend a mason to pour new concrete walkways which was a separate job. Both jobs went very well and I would recommend Egan to friends and family. They were friendly and on time and worked hard to get the job done.

Mr. Egan came to the house and looked at what I was asking for. He gave some suggestions for a small area that had not been previously paved. Gave me a price, I agreed, he was back with his men the next day and I had the whole thing done in about 8 hours. It looks beautiful.

From the first contact this company was very professional and puncutal. I had seen their work around the neighborhood and decided to research them. They called ahead and arrived promptly at the agreed upon time. The work took half a day. Overall the driveway looks great. During the work they accidentally pulled up the edge of my paver walkway. They put the pavers back in place but one or two are a little loose. This is the only problem I had. Otherwise, a great company to work with. They gave a clear and concise estimate and were very responsive.

They've been in business for 30 years. I got a couple other bid bids and they came in very good and I checked out some of their work in the area and it was very good so I got them. They came when they said they would and they did what they said. It isn't a long driveway or anything but the job was well done. It was done the way I wanted with all new material and it was done in less than a day.
