We signed a contract a few weeks ago...wanted to wait for better weather. Tim, (the boss) called last week and we agreed on today. He and his crew showed up at the agreed upon time, and completed everything in a neat and professional manner. I am completely satisfied!

Fantastic experience. Tim and his crew are professional, knowledgable, prompt, courteous and did a terrific job. The team from Egan Paving worked like a fine tuned machine, getting a big job done in a short amount of time, then cleaned the area leaving no trace of work materials. Highly recommended!

The came over when promised. It took them all day to correctly pour a new 9 car (approx.) driveway. The care they took in leveling and pitching the driveway so no puddles would appear when it rained was admirable. Tim repeatedly kept checking to be certain the water would drain when it rained. They also paved the walkway from the front of the house around to the back. Again, the quality of the work was outstanding. Although we have not gone through the winter months yet with all the changes in temperature that happen, I am certain our driveway will withstand snow blowing and road salt for many years to come.

I so hoped that I would have been able to give Egan paving their next A review. That is how I picked them because of their many good reviews. Unfortunately I can't give an A. Tim Egan is a very nice personable young man who is easily accessible by phone and e mail. When the driveway was installed I admit it looked very good. The day after however it rained. I looked outside and saw a very noticeable puddle in the middle of the driveway. I emailed Tim and asked if he could correct this. He apologized and said there was very little he could do about it. He offered me free sealcoating. I said I would rather have the driveway fixed. He said he could cut out that section and repave it but it would look like a definite patch job. He then said he could put small holes in the driveway to let the water drain. I find both of those options to be unacceptable. I will put up with the inconvenience of brushing the water away after each rain until I can find someone or someway of fixing this. I know Tim and his crew were aware of this low spot in the driveway and tried to correct it but it didn't work. i have it all on my security cameras. I cannot recommend Egan paving because I wouldn't want this to happen to someone else .

Outstanding work, great service, very reasonable price, kept us informed, and returned phone calls. Accomplished the work on schedule and as promised. A very professional crew with outstanding leadership that provide a high quality product with exceptional customer support.

Received an estimate about 4 weeks ago & was promised work to be done in October. Tim called on Sunday night and informed me he would be there on Tuesday, the 8th. The crew arrived about 7:30am and laid out the parking area for my approval. The crew, including Tim proceded to excavate, clean the existing asphalt area, lay the crushed stone base, pack it down & proceed to do the asphalt work. They cleaned up all areas worked on & Tim explained about when the parking area could be used and the care to be taken. Tim was not only the supervisor but he did as much work as the rest of the crew. This company & employees presented a professional appearance, arrived when scheduled & provided excellent work.

Can't say enough good things about Egan Paving. The initial contact was with Tim. who came over and gave me an estimate. He went over every line in detail! Professional and knew his line of work thoroughly. Answered all my questions. Responds to phone calls and messages within a reasonable period of time! Very professional, came on time, crew was great (step back into the 70's) They kept me posted as to their arrival time and progress with the job, I met them at the house and they had already started work but were waiting for final "dig" borders. Very polite and professional. When all was said and done, would not have known they were there. Next morning I had a question, called and got him immediately - got my answer.

Tim Eagan arrived promptly on 9/3 to discuss driveway options and provide an estimate. I was given 2 quotes. I decided that a total driveway replacement was in order due to the clay soil underneath and numerous cracks in the driveway. In addition, rain accumulated at the bottom of the driveway during heavy rains. Option B would also last much longer than Option A. Tim and his crew and equipment arrived promptly at 7:15 a.m. on 9/13. The project involved digging down about 8", applying stabilization fabric on soil, 4" of crushed run as a base, and 3" dense binder. The driveway was paved with 2" on top and rolled with vibratory roller. After it was done, I remarked that it is a "work of art." Post completion cleanup was very good. I believe the project took approximately 5-1/2 hrs. Upon completion, Tim discussed the do's and don't s and also provided me with an informative booklet. An excellent job, and I highly recommend Egan Paving.

If they did not want to do sealing work, they should have at least called back.

Excellent experience. Tim responded to our initial call promptly, set up an appointment and arrived as promised, provided a fair and reasonable price for the job, scheduled the job as originally promised, arrived at scheduled start time. Egan uses all their own crew and equipment, the job was done by Tim, his father and their crew, there was no outside contracting. Everything was done professionally, neatly and the driveway looks great. The entire crew was polite and personable and the job site was completely cleaned up when finished. We would highly recommend Egan Paving and would definately use them again.

It went great. Nice to work with Tim who was very professional and kept me informed of the scheduling. Always called back when I had questions and showed up on time. The job was done carefully, professionally and timely. Cleanup was great. Workers on his team were courteous and professional. A great company to work with and I would recommend them highly. I plan on having them come back next year to seal the new driveway. If you are looking for driveway replacement or repair, give them a call - you will be satisfied.

Our driveway was not a simple fix. After the rains this spring, we developed a couple of sink holes where the water had undercut the driveway and washed the dirt away. Plus the rest of the drive was quite uneven with grass growing up through the old seams. So we knew that we couldn't just have it resurfaced, more's the pity. We went on Angie's list and saw that Egan was very highly reviewed there. They also had a coupon for $250 off for Angie's list members. We called a couple of places but Egan was the only one that actually returned our call and showed up to do the estimate. Tim Egan (the owner's son) confirmed that he would recommend a tear out and new drive. We have clay soil so even though we have a sloped drive, the drainage is poor and needs a base layer for drainage and stabilization. He gave us two options for the top of the drive: a one layer drive that would last 8-10 years or a two layer drive that would last 20-25 years. Since we are planning on staying here for the long term, we chose the two layer option. Over all, I've been very impressed with Egan Paving. They did the first part last week (tear out, base layer and first layer of asphalt) in less than one day. That had to cure for a few days. They came back this morning to add the second layer and finished the job in about 3 hours. Tim Egan has handled every detail professionally. He and the rest of the team have showed up on time for every appointment. All of the men on the crew were exceedingly polite and didn't even ask to use the rest room when they were here. The cost was true to the estimate we received. The driveway looks great and even with yesterday's hard rain, the drainage was excellent. The new driveway is seamless and perfect! This is high quality workmanship that will last a long time. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the Saratoga, Schenectady, Albany area!

Tim was punctual and professional during our initial meeting and estimate discussions, via email and phone, and when he came to dig out my sad sidewalk. The cement crew was also very professional, and everyone involved in the job worked hard. The pride in workmanship was evident throughout the duration of the project. Tim also did a great job of keeping me updating on the progress. The continuous updates kept me from getting nervous about how it was going. I am so pleased with the way the entire project went! I definitely recommend Egan Paving!

It went great! Tim arrived on time and completed the job on time. The crew was courteous and hard working. The base stone was placed well and compacted with a roller. Plenty of black top was used resulting in a much thicker driveway than before. The black top was finished perfectly with a roller and the sides were tamped by hand. The driveway dimensions were exactly what we ordered. Overall great job with lots of complements from our neighbors.

Kim was very friendly upfront honest and his team members were all very friendly and nice. Kim was the guy who gave me the options. He was great.

Arrived on time and reviewed the project prior to starting. They did a great job doing everything as quoted with no damage to any adjacent areas and cleaned up completely. Tim went over the proper care and maintenance of the new asphalt. Their whole crew was very efficient and polite.

We called for an estimate and received an appointment the following day. After comparing another estimate and choosing Egan Paving Inc., Tim informed us that we would be put on his schedule for approximately 2 weeks, but clearly advised us about weather related delays. Inevitably, the rains came and seemed to hang on earlier in June. Nevertheless, they took the opportunity, even on a rainy day to come and do some grading and prep work. Again, subject to weather delays, Tim kept us apprised of his schedule and when he felt they could come back to complete the job. With laying the amount of asphalt necessary to do a good job, a completely clear day was necessary which finally happened on June 19th.Tim's team was professional, polite, and efficient. They started work early and managed to complete the job in one day. They spent a fair amount of time at the end of the job making sure the driveway was even and there were no potential puddle spots. They did an excellent job of clean-up, and other than our beautiful new driveway, we had no idea any of them had even been there! (Having worked with other contractors previously, it's not unusual for tools or trash to be left around the work site-not so with this group!)We are so pleased with the result. The new driveway has improved the look of our home enormously, providing definition to the front area which was sorely lacking before. Snow removal will be so much easier as will spring clean-up...we won't miss picking all the stones out of the yard anymore! Tim Egan is pleasant, personable, and informative. He spent a fair amount of time with the original estimate, as well as more than adequately answering questions and addressing concerns. We highly recommend using this company!

Found Egan paving on Angies list and used them based upon all of their reviews. They didn't disappoint. Was able to schedule us when we wanted the job done, and showed up on time and was very professional. Driveway looks great. Thanks.

We found Egan Paving to be very professional and easy to work with. As said above, we replaced our drive way and 82 feet of sidewalk. Though Egan Paving does not do masonry work, they provided the equipment and manpower to remove the old concrete sidewalk and the name of a very reliable mason to install the new side walk. Tim Egan Jr. came to my home to give me an estimate, he arrived as scheduled. We went over the projects that I wanted done, discussed any possible problems and their solution. Mr. Egan then went to his truck and provided me with a written estimate. All work was completed as discussed and done in a very timely manner. Mr. Egan returned all phone calls and e-mail, I had no problem getting in touch with him, which was necessary as the mason provided by him was not part of his regular crew. I have to say I was "very" impressed with the finished product, both the driveway and sidewalk and would highly recommend Egan Paving. I had three estimates for this work and Egan Paving was the least expensive, plus I used a $250 dollar coupon that was on Angie's list, so the final cost was less. Just a note the price indicated on this job does not reflect the cost of the installation of the new sidewalk, however it does include the removal of the old sidewalk.

Mr. Egan kept us informed when they would start the project and once here, responded well to questions and acted in a professional manner. Before leaving, they cleaned up everything very well. The cost of the project was within what we hoped to pay and assured us that if there were any problems they would respond quickly to correct any possible faults.

It went perfect. We had no problems.

Estimate given promptly. Very Curteous. Job done in timely fashion as promised. Very happy with results.

There was a large crew, maybe 6 men, including Tim Egan and his father. We dealt with Tim throughout. He was responsive, scheduled the job around our needs, was prompt, got back to me quickly when I left a message with questions. They laid an excellent driveway, improving the flaws in the old one, such as dips and no foundation. We were impressed with the team approach to the job. Price quote was in the middle of three estimates. This past summer, a year later, we had them back to seal the driveway, as it has to cure for a year.

They appropriately postponed twice because of weather and then did a good job.
