Rick was very prompt in calling back. He made an appointment and was on time and very nice. He gave us a quote quickly but it was not in our budget. Was impressed with his business practice.

They met my needs, they eventually gave me an estimate that separated labor and materials instead of a lump sum which he is accustom to giving. We reached an agreement, he was agreeable to what ever I asked. He was very cooperative, I would work with him again.

Rik gave us a competitive quote last year, but we were unable to have the work done. When we called him back this year he came to assess the work the next day and agreed to complete the work the following week. His crew was at the house on the agreed upon day at 7:00 AM and completed the work over the next several days, with Rik there every day to oversee the work being done. Everyone was friendly and courteous. The old walk was taken out and the new walk, with a handicapped ramp to replace steps at the driveway, was completed beautifully. The original steps were rolled back and new concrete poured to even them out and raise them back up to their original level. I would recommend Rik and his crew to anyone needing concrete or custom masonry work. He gets a well deserved A+.

Quick call back. He was at the house the next day to take a look and left a written estimate that night.

I received the initial estimate which was very high, when i questioned the sqaure footage, Rick did not answer my questions, and said that I was measuring incorrectly. I set up another appt. for him to come out, and he did not show up or call,. So i do not know what happened. If he wasnt interested in doing the work, then he should have said so. I hired another contractor from Angie's list and will be posting my review upon completion of the work.

Requested quote from company, and followed up a week later requesting an update. No response back from company.

He seemed very professional and knowledgeable.

Rik Morelli and his crew from Stonewall Masonry showed up at the agreed upon time time, did the job did it properly and cleaned up afterwards. I was amazed at how efficiently the crew worked together. It was like watching a well practiced dance routine. The old cement porch was broken down (by hand) and removed, the forms were set in place and a cement truck arrived and poured the cement for the new porch. In the meantime they pointed up my chimney and a brick wall that had cracked from the house settling.The entire job was completed in a few days. The results are beautiful. I would recommend them to anyone and I would certainly hire them again.

I hired this company after a previous contractor did not show up when they were supposed to, etc. Rick came to the house and gave me an estimate and stayed true to that. The job was started on time and the crew worked hard getting it done in a couple days. We had a couple of cracks the following week, most likely because it was so hot and humid when they did the work. Within a couple days Rick came back and filled the cracks. I wish I didn't have cracks in my brand new concrete, but they were responsive when the problem arose.

The person who went here was good. He was quick and he did a nice job. He was also prompt, thoughtful and he worked around my budget.

We had tried to get other masons, but they were either unavailable or didn't show up for an estimate. My wife kind of gave up and decided to give our business to Rik Morelli, the owner of the business, because at least he seemed reliable. He showed up when he said he would and completed the work professionally. He requested full payment upon completion and we did that.\

I called, and left a message, asking for a quote. It took several days, and a second message, which he promptly returned. He came out the next day, measured, and gave me the estimate and a suggestion for bordering. I was impressed with his professionalism and agreed to his price. We scheduled the work for a few days later. He and his crew arrived as scheduled. completed the work in about half a day. He came back to remove the forms the following day. I WAS, AND AM, VERY PLEASED WITH THE PROFESSIONALISM OF THE ENTIRE CREW.

Ric the owner/foreman promptly responded to my call and provided an estimate. I originally wanted the work done in the Fall, but when the early October snow came I called Ric and postponed the work until the Spring. Ric was very accommodating and when I called in March to reschedule the job work started within one week and was completed in the projected 2.5 days. Ric and his crew began promptly at 7:30 AM and worked continuously and efficiently with absolutely no down time. The entire crew was helpful and courteous. They provided the "custom" design that we requested and the finished work was professionally done and of excellent craftsmanship. The crew cleaned up the work area each night and left the worksite clean when the work was complete.

Rick called me back shortly after I called him. We set up an appointment at my house a few days out. Rick did not show up for our agreed upon meeting. He was nice on the phone so I thought maybe he had an emergency or something. I called him on his cell phone a half hour after he agreed to meet me and my call went to voice mail. I left a very nice message asking him to call me back to reschedule. That was several days ago and I have not heard anything. Completely unprofessional. If he didn't want the job or was too busy he should have told me upfront. I rearranged my schedule to meet him and he couldn't even give me the courtesy of a return call.

Contractor came over the day after I called and gave me an estimate to repair my front steps which were rocking back and forth when walked on. I also wanted some cracks in the walkways filled. He explained what was needed and gave what I felt was a fair price. We agreed on the following Saturday at 8AM to start the work. They showed up early and without bothering us started the work. I asked if they could fill in the mortar between some blocks around the foundation and what would it cost. I was told it was no problem and there was no additional charge. I had to leave so I left for the day. My wife said the work was done in a couple hours. When I came home there was one little annoyance. The sidewalk and driveway was left dirty and one of my termite traps was dug up and just left laying on the ground. Since they are buried I have no idea where it goes so I will have to wait until spring to have the monitoring company bury it again.

Came out the same day I called inquiring about chimney repair (he had a job cancel that day), gave me a couple of options. I picked one and the next week the men came out worked for 2 days and were gone, done deal. Like hitting the Easy button.

AThey were very professional from the start. They started very early in the morning and had to work in a 4 foot basement with entry-way from outside the home. They did everything they said was needed to be done and went beyond that to find other areas in my basement where water was coming in from and no other company nor an engineer from my insurance company found in their inspections. They did this with no increase in the price. I CANT EXPRESS ENOUGH HOW THIS COMPANY PERFORMS THEIR WORK AND BEYOND LIKE NO ONE THAT HAS EVER WORKED IN MY HOME. THEY ARE TRUE PROFESSIONALS - THEY DO WHAT THEY SAY THEY ARE GOING TO DO AND IF THEY FIND OTHER PROBLEMS THEY DO THAT TO. IT SAYS ALOT WHEN THEY TREAT YOU WITH RESPECT AND PERFORM THEIR JOB LIKE IT WAS FAMILY LOOKING OUT FOR YOU. I JOINED ANGIES' LIST TO FIND A MASON AND FINDING THEM WAS WORTH MORE THEN THE FEE OF MEMBERSHIP. I WILL ALWAYS HAVE THEM DO WORK FOR ME THAT IS IS THE REALM OF THEIR SCOPE OF WORK AND REFER ANYONE TO THEM. DON'T HESITATE TO CALL THEM YOU WON'T BE SORRY. THERE THE BEST!!!!!!!!

Same story as above Ric was very helpful, professional and his estimate was affordable. We had basement flooding but opted to go with a family friend to do the work. That stated, I was so impressed with Ric that I would certianly use him in the future. He was nice enough to get a ceiling tile tested for asbestos just so that I would have peace of mind. He didn't charge and called me back within hours with the results. It's quality of service likke this that I appreciate and would recommend him for someone in need of services.

Old concrete patio and front walk were crumbling and eroding away, as well as front steps needing repair. Rick and his team removed old concrete on the first day, then on the next day, poured and formed new concrete and patched the front steps. They completed the job quickly and were courteous. Upon first request for proposal, Rick responded right away and pricing was very fair. When the job was done, all messes were cleaned up. The new patio and sidewalk look great.

.He was excellent. He did a very good work. For a mason some of them are a bit gruff, but he was very easy to talk to. He has an art background and he was very nice. He brought two other workers and they were also very pleasant. I will use him in the future.

Rik was very responsive in coming over to do the estimate and told me exactly what it would cost. He also told me when he could do the work and was good about calling and telling me exactly when they would arrive. A very peasant and painless experience. I would definitely recommend them!!

Called for an estimate on 8/15/11. Returned call on 8/16/11. Described problem (foundation repair), he asked if he could come that day to do estimate, I said yes. Never showed up, never called back.

It went well. Rick came quickly for an estimate. They came to work on the project when they said they would and they got the job done quickly.
