Description of Work: Replaced most of my roof, added zinc strips to new roof to prevent moss, replaced two skylights, removed old gutters. Their estimator showed up as scheduled but I had a hard time getting them to answer a couple of questions about the proposed contract. Finally got that straight, including getting the $200 credit promised in the Angie's coupon. Their work was great but strangely they just descended on me on a Monday with no warning, somehow failing to let me know they were coming! Fortunately I could adjust to get them started and reassure myself that the crew would follow the contract, before I had to leave for much of the day. They were extremely conscientious about clean up. Not sure how their price compared because the other contractor I asked for a price never gave me one. I trusted their price because of good ratings on Angie's list and by looking up what a roofing job about 15 years ago had cost me.

Description of Work: COUSINS CONSTRUCTION replace the roof and a lot of the decking on the main part of my house. They had the best price and I was so very happy with the quality of work I had the come back the following year to do the garage and another small roof on anther part of the house. I have had no problems since they did the roof.

Description of Work: they ( all 13 workers ) arrived on time 7:30 am and started right away , even the job supervisor was up there , there were 2 ground people whose entire job was to keep my property , walkways , deck, flowergardens , shurbs clean , they did not take any coffee breaks stopped for about 40 minutes for lunch at 12:30 then back up on the roof , they acted like a well oiled machine every one knew what the had to do & did it . Their degree of professionalism and attention to detail was Spot on |they were friendly but never took their mind or attention off the task at hand , they finished as they said by 7 pm , as the job wined down a number of them came down an aided the 2 ground people but still at least 7 up there doing the roofing , the cleanup was excellent , the roof looks great and they gave me a 5% discount for telling them I used Angies list to find them , U should also know there was no money given to them till they showed up to work and then half once the job was done & I WAS HAPPY with the job they took the other half minus my $ discount ( $ 592 ) . Their bid was competive , and the fact they could get the job done in 1 day was amazing , other smaller groups were any where 3 to 7 days . Again watching the way they worked , taking rotaing 5 minute water breaks and not stopping till lunch was trully amazing , I only wish i had more work for them

Description of Work: Flat roof and gutters. There was an issue with reinstalling our awnings. However Jason was very responsive and did more than I expected to resolve the problem.

Description of Work: Repaired flashing and shingles that were allowing water to leek into the all season room (back porch). The work crew was professional and performed excellent work. They seemed very knowledgeable and were very thorough in their approach. They removed all materials and the clean up was as though they were never there. I can't say enough about the crew.

Description of Work: Cousins replaced the roof of my house. The job took a day and one half. They were very professional. I was impressed with their extensive experience and the fact that it is a family business. One of the cousins supervised the job while another took care of the estimates. Very pleased with the experience.

Description of Work: New roof due to hail damage... They did a great job! The roof looks great...did everything they said they were going to do... The cleanup was great and they were very professional and careful of our property and belonging around the house.

Description of Work: Went very well. Completed everything as promised.striped original roof shingles and replaced new shingles in one day early December . Removed debris and cleaned up.also replaced flashing and installed air circulation at peak. Then in may applied two coats of special paint on metal roof at other end of house. Came back to finish touch ups. Also painted trim on house that was very high and difficult to get to. They also double checked the shingle roof done in December from inside Attic.professional and easy to talk to. Excellent performance.

Description of Work: Replaced a flat rubber roof, removed a chimney that was no longer needed, repaired and replaced some aluminum siding. They did a great job, the only issue was that it took a while to get them there to do it, presumably because they're so busy due to their good work.

Description of Work: Pre-winter roof inspection, remedied small issues. No pushy sales attempt, in fact said roof good for couple of years. I called them back for estimate. Couldn't be more impressed.

Description of Work: I had a Big Deal purchase from Cousins Construction and they did come. He went up on the roof and looked at it. There wasn't a lot that was missing aside from a couple of shingles and he said that we were okay for another 3-4 years probably then we have to replace the roof.

Description of Work: The company called me that they were in the area and could come right away to do the roof winterizing. They came and were just about to start with a pelting rain began. After the rain they told me they would not do the job, that the whole roof needed to be replaced. They refused to do the one part of the roof that was causing a problem, so I will need to get out on the roof again to do the necessary sealing (I am 73 and had pneumonia last winter, so was hoping to avoid doing this). They gave me a bid, ignoring the fact that the garage roof was fairly new and did not need replacing. The bid was high, and when I asked for a bid on just the troublesome area, that was way too high. I also asked for a rebid not including the garage and did not get that. So far, the only good thing they did was notify you that I should get a refund. I will probably not use the Angie's List special deal option again, because if it goes wrong, getting a refund is just too much trouble. It took over a week to get this far, I had to fill out this form and look up the coupon code and you still take another 7-10 days.

Description of Work: I did not hear from them so I sent you an Email asking for a coupon refund. That same day they called and offered to come by. A 'Cousins" man came and looked at my roof. He said he did lay down some sealing product but a roof replacement was needed. At best, a minimum effort as far as the prepare for winter service I paid for. They Emailed an estimate and said I would get my $149.00 back if I ordered the roofing job. Are you sure that 'Cousins' authorized a complete refund? Yesterday, I received a visit and an estimate from another Angie's List roofer [Performance Roofing]. I soon will make a decisions as to what company to go with. I need to do some product analysis and perhaps have 'Cousins' answer some questions about the back porch roof. Regards, James E. Crowell...
