Description of Work: Provider called to schedule an appointment but failed to show up for the appointment, failed to even advise us that was not comind, and never returned phone calls regarding missed appointment. Very unsatisfactory.

Description of Work: Replaced 10 three tab shingles on roof that had blown off in bad storm also replaced Pipe Boot Flange on roof. Work was done efficiently and there have not been any problems since. I did have to call the company a second time to get a date when the work would be done.

Description of Work: Cousins was professional at every level. I only wish I had found them to replace my roof, when I did so several years ago! They repaired a leak that had been "fixed" twice before by others. They knew exactly what to do as soon as they examined the area. The repair is not only done correctly, it even looks nice. I highly recommend them!

Description of Work: Cousins Construction replaced a water damaged soft porch roof for us on a house we recently purchased. When we noticed there was a lot of water damage we contacted Cousins. The showed up with a couple days to look at the project and give us a quote. Because it was a small project we had to wait till they were not so busy, but when they got here to do the project they were excellent. The workers were knowledgeable, did quality work and cleaned up well when they were finished. We would definitely use Cousins again for any future roofing needs.

Description of Work: Cousins roofing replaced a roof on my home and another roof on a rental property that I own. Jason is very knowledgeable and responsive but he was not the on-site supervisor for the work performed. There were NUMEROUS issues that needed to be addressed on both roofs, the worst being a missing shingle in one corner with plywood showing through. I have to say that Jason did admit that it was a bad day and Cousins was very responsive in addressing the issues although I had to have them return a few times. My advice is, that even though they get good reviews, check their work carefully! Had I not climbed up on the roof, the missing shingle would not have been discovered and there would have been damage inside of the house. It seems as if they should have performed a final inspection before they "called it a day".

Description of Work: I had some leaks at the end of the winter. I called, they came. The unusual snow had caused an ice dam, which produced the leak. They sent out a team the following day. They cleared the dam. No charge.

Description of Work: New roof on sun porch. The roof is flat and it has been a source of headache since we moved in. It was replaced twice before in less than 15 years. They explained why the previous jobs didn't work out and I am confident that this roof will last. They were here on the exact date quoted and worked until completed. Very happy with job.

Description of Work: An answering machine message was left, describing needed gutter work and requesting a call back. This company had put a new roof on my house about two years ago. An office person called back slightly longer than a week and a half later; I had already had another local company respond, come out to spec the job and give a quoted price and contract.

Description of Work: They removed and replaced a roof section. The section was metal and I had it replaced with composite to match the rest of the home. Problems were found and pictures were sent to me (I was travelling that day) and options presented. The only issues I had were they were not quite as good as I would like in their communications between the office and me around scheduling, but that did not distract from their work. Overall they were great to work with and I recommend them to anyone. Their quote for the entire section was about the same as another quote for only a portion (about half) of the replacement area. I have no as yet been given the final bill but I am not expecting any surprises.

Description of Work: They put new room on flat roof on dormer, and 2 spots where soffit was damaged, and added gutter to front of house. The workers were good but had trouble contacting the company to get remainder of work scheduled. They were prompt after scheduling and completed work in a timely fashion.

Description of Work: Hired to replace roof, reflash, replace soil pipe boots, install gutters, replace damaged wood and siding. |CC Did NOT complete the job and did substandard work on siding. Gutters not installed, siding was extremely sloppy workmanship, soil boot replacement was not done. |I called the owner to come back and take a look at the work and tell me what he thought. He acknowledged the siding was not good, "he didn't love it" and that he would have the crew take care of the work when they came back to complete the job within a week or so... Gave him an opportunity to quote additional siding work as long as the crew was coming back to fix up the other siding they had done. They never came back to finish the job OR to correct the poor workmanship done on siding. |The biggest issue I have is that the job was never completed and I never received any contact back from the owner after I tried to reach him. The gutters and soil pipe boots were not done... |The second issue is the first course of siding was removed to flash and when it was reinstalled it was not spaced correctly, it was damaged (split), exposed nails and holes, not caulked in places and other places excessively... |The shingle itself looked OK and the work was done quickly but this doesn't outweigh the poor experience I had with the other points noted above. |I believe the underlying problem was due to the company being very busy in Amsterdam area and wanting to move onto other projects. The owner and crew were polite but at the end of the day I didn't receive what I contracted for and I did not get a response back after I reached out. |
