The experience was overall exceptional. Andy Angus was very professional and courteous as well as the movers who moved our furniture. The price and time frame quoted were right on target and the movers did not stall. They kept moving and were very careful with all the furniture and fixtures.

Overall, great. Only complaint is that they left a gouge in wood floors from the metal part of ties they used to roll up the mattress. Mattress also got dirty in the move--we're pretty low key so I didn't care, the wood though... I didn't notice until they left and I already signed the papers that there was no damage. I'm pretty sure they must have heard the scraping as they moved it, but they were super nice and helpful, so it may not have been noticed. We hired them specifically to move the bed- we couldn't have done it alone. And, since they have a 3 hr minimum, we figure they could take what ever else we had time for. They let us help load and unload so we could maximize the amount of stuff we moved. They were quick and nice. They also flagged down another crew to help unload the bed (at no extra cost). Our street is very narrow and it was more so because of the snow and they managed the huge truck with ease. A rep came over to give a free estimate before we moved and since our bed is just huge, heavy and awkward, he wasn't sure how much other than the bed they could do--it could have taken 10 minutes or 60. The guys tackled it easy whenhey arrived the next day, so we got a lot moved. Also, we hired them really last minute-like 2 days before. We'd use them again, but I'd check for damage before I signed anything.

They were late (about 40 minutes) and I'm not sure they would have found us if we hadn't seen them pull into a parking lot at a different city housing complex. The two men did not present a professional appearance - If I were given the opportunity to refuse service, I would have. But, we had to be out of the apartment by the first and there was nobody available to help us move the furniture. The move went slowly because they insisted on parking in a regular parking spot about twice the distance from the apartment as the place we pointed out - granted it was on the street, but other movers park there and there is plenty of room for traffic to get by. They did chip a piece of furniture and argued about it when it was pointed out - fortunately, my sister had taken a series of "before" pictures that clearly showed no damage. They also broke the brace for one of the legs on the kitchen table. And, again, claimed it was our fault. Also not true - I was on the ground floor, letting them in and out of the vestibule for the elevator. When they brought the table out the brace was firmly attached - the leg had fallen off because the clamp loosened up. When they arrived at the destination, the brace had been pulled off completely. They tried to prove it was a weak table by trying to rip another brace loose (and failing to do so). My 85-year-old mother was at the delivery location and she was very upset and dissatisified with the crew's rudeness, clumsiness, and unprofessional behavior. Let me just convey one additional thought - we are not rich people, but are frugal. We shop at Sears, not Ethan Allen. The physical items that were damaged, were moderately priced, but have been in our family for more than 50 years. We don't replace things that don't absolutely need replacement. Based on this experience with Clark's Moving and Storage, I would have sooner abandoned everything they moved than put up with their unprofessional performance. I would not use their service if it were offered for free. My sister is still negotiating with them for a settlement. They have been unresponsive until today (1/10/11) because they were contacted by the Better Business Bureau based on a complaint my sister filed.

We were pleased with every aspect of our move thanks to the professionalism of all involved starting with the estimator, office staff, and most importantly, the movers.

I spent around $500 on their service. They were the best in every way. They arrived with two men and a truck. They arrived exactly on time. I filled out the necessary paperwork. They wrapped everything in blankets and plastic wraps. They basically moved everything within an hour. I initially gave them the floor plan of the facility. They took everything in and arranged the room beautifully. By the time I got there, everything was done. I gave them the check. I thanked them both and tipped them. They did a wonderful job. I would highly recommend them to anybody. I will definitely use them in the future.

They're fabulous. Their responsiveness is excellent and their punctuality is very very good. The fellow who has recently taken over the management from the original owners, who took it over two years ago, has been wonderful to work with.

The estimator arrived on the day and time agreed and went through the entire house, attic to basement, before giving us an estimate. The packers empressed us with their professionalism and their willingness to pack whatever we asked. All the glass, crystal and china they packed arrived without damage or breakage. The movers arrived at the scheduled time, moved all the furniture and cartons from our house to our new apartment without damage or breakage. They wee all courteous and professional in their work. We would not hesitate to use this company again and would recommend them to anyone looking for a mover.
