+ 0 moreNick and Bill installed our whole house stand-by generator 10 years ago. Nick has performed the annual maintenance every year. The generator has performed very well during various power outages. We also had a second stand-by generator installed at a vacation home four years ago. Again, Nick has completed the annual maintenance and even found an oil leak issue covered by warranty. Nick and Bill have also performed several electrical fixes at our home. They are honest, reliable, conscientious and detail-oriented. We highly recommend them.

+ -1 moreB&N installed the generator with a high degree of professionalism. I felt confident the geriatric was being installed correctly. Service continues after with my generator being monitored both with B&N and on my iPhone. I know that Nick is a phone call away and that if I have any problems (so far problem free) he would be right there. It’s great to get the best product with the best service

Description of Work: I have someone who originally put in a generator for us, that was years ago, but he comes once a year to do a tune up. It was an annual tune up.

+ -1 moreThey always do excellent work, are very honest and conscientious, and on one occasion Nick stayed very late the evening before Thanksgiving just to make sure everything was working properly. And he always insists on making sure I have his cell number just in case anything ever happens after hours. That says it all. My background is in engineering, I've worked on large steam turbine generators, and I have a small engine background. I would highly recommend B & N to anyone.
Description of Work: I have used B & N Electric (Nick) and his partner for over six years now servicing my whole house generator, including the initial installation, and annual services. Nick is not only a good electrician but he's also very good at fine-tuning adjustments on these type generators; both the generator and the engine. And he knows the specifics to look for when diagnosing issues between generators that run on propane vs. natural gas; specifics like engine timing, carburetion, valve settings, etc. A lot of generator work is done by ear. What I mean is, you need to know what a properly adjusted and tuned generator should sound like when it's under various load conditions; he understands that.
