Rich Perillo is the service advisor that promptly came to my home to address my issues with my aging furnace. He is a top notch professional who assessed and gave me options to replace the furnace. His e-mail follow-up left nothing to chance and every question was addressed. Jake followed up with schedule options that allowed me to choose, within days, when the install would take place. The technicians arrived exactly at 7:30 and did an amazing job. They wore bootees and put down tarps. They treated my home as their own. The installation was flawless and when they left at 4, as promised, there was not a scrap of the old furnace, dirt or debris. And … the furnace works great! I would certainly recommend Adams to anyone.

My baseboard hot water system was not working in my downstairs zone, so I called and scheduled an appointing for a Tuesday afternoon and took the day off from work. I tried to call them around 4:45 PM because I hadn't heard from anyone yet, but they were closed for the day. The next day I received a call from them because apparently even though we had discussed Tuesday they had scheduled it for Wednesday. We then rescheduled the appointment for the next Monday. Monday comes around and the plumber arrives. He takes a look at the system and decides that there is an airlock in the system. After about two hours of trying to get rid of it, he notices that some of the elbows in the piping have sharkbite fittings on them and tells me that this is why he can't get the air out of the system. These fittings have been in there since the system was installed 5 years ago and show no indication that they are faulty. There is no unusual wear on them and there is no condensation of any sort on them indicating that they are leaking. He tells me that he is going to have someone from the shop call to schedule an appointment to come and replace all of these fittings and that he can't get the heat working in that zone until that is done. He writes up the bill, charges me $484 for the visit, and then leaves. It is now four days later and I have still not had anyone call me to schedule the replacement and I still do not have heat in over half of the house. I could not in good faith recommend this company to anyone.

Adams Heating replaced our hot water heater and installed 2 ductless air conditioner and we were totally satisfied with their work. We decided to have our 25 year old furnace replaced and selecting Adams seemed logical. Ron and Bernie arrived 7:15and immediately put on plastic booties and spread drop cloths through entire work area. Their work and professionalism was outstanding. They answered all our questions and did a thorough operational check of system after installation. Their cleanup of the work area was totally complete. My compliments to Adams and all their employees, truly a top notch company with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction. I would highly recommend Adams Heating.

I called and spoke to Adams and attempted to schedule an appointment to get an estimate for a furnace and central air conditioner installed. They told me that they would have to have a salesperson call me back as they were "very busy". Great for them, not so great for me as no one ever called back. Luckily there were several other companies recommended by Angie's List that were not too busy to respond.

Beyond frustrated with these guys. Fire department had to evacuate our house due to a gas leak that National Grid determined was due to poor quality work. Adams states that since its been 3-4 years since install they don't believe National Grid, but National Grid states that it takes time for a cross thread or low quality gas pipework to showup. Once again this company has put my family and lives at risk. You can see my other review (and I haven't reviewed anything else, so don't think that am just a complainer - its just that this companies customer service and safety record is terrible), my other review relates to them not doing my electrical work to code on the same install that resulted in being electrically shocked in the shower.....and they first had their own electricians determine the work wasn't done to code and i have pictures showing the bad connections, but then they denied it. Electrical not done to code, National Grid gas line expert saying that the install was poor quality, these guys almost killed me twice. I have asked them to hire a third party company to fix it and after being connected with one of the co-owners they refused because they don't give a **** about safety and that their own crews don't follow code or quality procedures. I got 3 quotes for this install, theirs was the highest, but I bought into the "quality and customer service" sales pitch. If you have done business with these guys your safety is at risk, feel free to call them and ask, they will give you the run around but won't actually do anything. I'm stuck once again hiring somebody to fix their crappy work.

Our 20yo water heater gave up the ghost. Using AL to request quotes, I found Adams heating and cooling to be less expensive and could fit me in right away. Within 45 minutes, Ron was in my driveway. Ron was patient, courteous and very professional. During the installation, he didn't seem annoyed by the fact that I was constantly looking over his shoulder and even took time to explain the process as he went along. At the end of the install, he went over my new water heater including preventative maintenance. I did opt to have the expansion tank installed (code requirement & extends the life of the water heater); the out-the-door price (American water heater) including labor & the expansion tank is included in the approx cost of service. I'd definitely consider Adams H & C for future heating/cooling needs.

1.0 star rating 7/25/2018 Improper workmanship almost resulted in death. If you own a furnace installed by them I strongly urge a third party inspector be hired to check for safety issues. Electrical work shorted due to not following normal electrical practice, which was verified by the company after they finally did a site visit (not believing me); at which point they found more than one workmanship error. This caused the copper plumbing in my house to be electrified; I found out during a shower, and luckily I fell out of the shower instead of straight down. If one of my kids were getting into a bath they would be dead. I have switched who is providing regular maintenance service as I can not trust their work. I got three quotes, Adams was the highest, but I bought into the "better customer service" salespitch. Even after explaining the situation they still waited to respond, I had to call back numerous times to get somebody to come and even check it out. Bad workmanship, slow to respond to a deadly situation, I would not recommend this group to anyone. My story my sound unique, but if they installed a furnace in your house and followed the same procedures you are likely at risk - get a third party inspector ASAP! Look for wiring connections in the shutoff safety switch, and if the copper pipe is grounded to the furnace chassis - mine took over a year to become an issue, so even if yours was installed awhile ago you still may be at risk.

Adams was one of five installers who we asked for A/C solution designs and quotes. Their quote was lowest and their design was the best; they offered a distribution box for the A/C lines in the attic so that the lines wouldn't show snaking around the exterior of the house. Another installer hadn't heard of this option and wasn't willing to pursue it. Another installer we turned down agreed with our choice to use Adams due to his perspective of the company and their work. Everyone who came to our house came on time. They listened to our input, answered our questions and worked in all conditions (even in our hot attic) to get the job done. The installers (Eli and Chris) were knowledgeable, polite, and professional. They went above and beyond by taking our exterior paint and painting the tips of the drain lines and were able to creatively snake an electrical line across our garage above the sheet rock (how did they do it?!) to hide it. A few changes needed to be made along the way and they always would ask for our buy-in before proceeding. Once the job was completed, they went through and reviewed the entire setup to make sure we understood its operation. We literally couldn't have asked for a better job. They exceeded our expectations and we'll recommend them to others.

Representative Chris Church provided our estimate which was very reasonable. He set a date that the work would begin. Work began early the first day and was fully completed on the next date. Installation crew was meticulous in detail with the complete installation. My wife and I couldn't be happier that we chose this dealer for the work. They had serviced our previous furnace & a/c units for the prior 22 years. Always top notch service & repairs at reasonable prices.

Twice a year. We have a contract so there was no cost. Their work and service are good. We haven't had any problems with them since install. They do a follow up and let us know when it's time to have maintenance on the furnace.

The whole process went well. They were very punctual and the installers were very receptive to my concerns. The workers were here for a couple days and the system works great.

They sold me the air conditioner and it keeps freezing up, he told me I need to shut it off to let it unfreeze. I'm not sure if I have too big of a unit or if it's not any good. They weren't helpful. He was punctual. He was professional even though he didn't know anything to help me with my unit freezing.

They installed the boiler in the time they told me they would. Were fast to get me on the schedule and were very professional.

Everything is an “A”, because everything from when they came to give us the estimate and all the work, they actually left our basement cleaner than what they found it. We do use them, every year.

They did fine. It's a good unit, gas doesn't need much maintenance. The price was okay. They were average. When we got problems, they resolved it. To anyone that wanted to use Adams, I would say they're okay and to just make sure they're watching closely that they do the job the way they want it.

Very well. Everything checked out in good running condition. Since house is now 20 years old we are thinking of replacing furnace and a/c in the spring. Adams would be the first one we would call for that. They have been great ever since we had the house built.

I would use them again in the future.

They tried to cheat me, the Adams repairman tried to charge me $225.00 for a part that when i looked it up online was only $87.00. I confronted the Adams repairman about it and he claimed that they only have one supplier ( as a small business owner myself I know this is bull even I have several suppliers for the printing inks and paper i purchase for my business ) he also SAID that they are not in the business of making thing cheeper for the end consumer (***). I no longer trust this business and I would recommend every one to be very cautious if you still chose to use them. Because of this from know on I will be doing all the repairs on my unit it will take me longer to figure out what is wrong but at least I won't get cheated.
