From start to finish, this company was outstanding. Our furnace died and we were in need of a new one, so we had a couple of estimates. Jake squeezed us in and came out to give us an estimate. He was very personable and extremely knowledgeable, did not try to upsell us at all. He answered our questions thoroughly! His estimate came in at over $350 less than a competitor, so we went with him. The install went smoothly and the guys worked quickly and efficiently! They cleaned up meticulously when the job was done! Can't say enough good things about the process!

John and his team came out and did a fantastic job of helping solve a a/c problem in our home. The quote ended up being slightly less than the others we received and the work was fantastic. The team was efficient, very clean, and thorough. I would recommend them highly and will use for all my HVAC needs going forward.

Gas furnace would not fire. Problem was quickly found by Andrew. It was a quick response overall. Found malfunctioning pressure switch. Price very reasonable. Andrew answered my questions. Very friendly. Plan for spring visit on A/C replacement.

Ryan showed up right when he said he would. I have been sick for a week and still not feeling myself yet. He worked quietly and was extremely polite and compassionate about my being sick. He could not resolve the problem as the house needs a new furnace. He made sure I had heat for the weekend and into the next week until the new furnace could be installed. It was a pleasure to work with him.

Called and got an appointment for the next day, even though the AC was purchased through another provider. Repairman Bob arrived within expected time frame, quickly identified the problem and replaced a part in the condensor. He was prompt, pleasant, and informative

Woke up with no heat on a Sunday morning. After finding Adams Heating highly rated on Angie's List with a $10 coupon, I used Adams' online scheduling form to request a service appointment for Monday. By 10 am on Sunday, I got an e-mail response saying that they would be coming out on Monday afternoon. The technician came out on Monday and traced the problem to a defective control board. After ordering the replacement part, it was installed and the problem was resolved. I was very impressed with the company's responsiveness (confirming an appointment on a Sunday!). The service manager called the morning of the appointment to confirm the time, and the technician called a half hour before arriving to let us know he was on his way. Once he arrived, the technician was very professional and friendly. The diagnosis was thorough and the proposed repair completely solved the problem.

Had to wait one day for service as they had not open appointments. They arrived punctually. Diagnosed the problem before fixing which gave me the opportunity to repair or replace. Would definitely use again.

Adams came early in the morning right on time to install a new air conditioner in my townhouse. Two workers came over to perform the job. They both were courteous to me and worked quickly and efficiently. When they were finished, they showed me the work they had done. They tested the unit and all seemed to go well. I am glad I went with this company for the job.

Adams heating and cooling are excellent. I am a first time homeowner and the technician gave me an overview of my furnace works and what I should do for maintenance.

The men who removed and replaced the hot water heater and furnace were very professional, clean, picked up after themselves and kept us informed as to how things were going. After the job was completed they gave us complete instructions about everything and went over all that they had done. We were very satisfied. We will definitely call Adams again.

Very professional, easy to deal with. Cost was exactly as quoted and they offered more than one solution. Had a small leak on the top of the water tank 6 weeks after install, one call, they came out the next day, no charge (tightened a loose valve). Like me, you'll probably find cheaper but I'm glad I opted to pay a little more and get first rate service. I'd use them again.

He put too much refrigerant in because he didn't check the inside unit first and the cover was off. So we got to pay for the time he spent taking refrigerant back out. He wasn't able to find the leak. He tried to charge for 15 minutes he spent sitting in our driveway after he arrived; the price was $315 until I called him on that.

This was the second time we had used Adams. We needed them because we were clueless about how oil furnaces work and we got it wrong. The first person who came out was fine. The second person who came out was amazing. He cleaned the thing that starts the ignition thing (see, I'm still pretty clueless) and showed me how to prime and restart my furnace. I still don't know what the bits are called, but I am empowered to know how to do it AND know at which point I need to call Adams. Those things are incredibly valuable to me. Administratively, I found the staff very professional and friendly. It was easy to schedule and everyone was on time. My husband had some kind of scheduling SNAFU with them as they dialed the wrong area code (thus the B grade) when they said they would call. To be fair, our area code is 512 and the area code here is 518. Really, the onus is on us to either go out of our way to point out the difference or change our phone number so people can get it right the first time. I will definitely use them again!!!

We returned from out of town to an AC unit that was not working. Since we were new to the area approximately 1 year ago, I contacted a company I had used to clean and inspect the HVAC system after we moved in. They were very busy and could not offer me an appointment, so back to Angie's List I went. Found Adams Heating and Cooling and boy, am I happy I did!!! Not only could a technician come out today, he called and came out early!!!! Diagnosed the problem, indicated it might take a bit for him to get the correct part, but he expected to return later this afternoon. He was back within an hour and had the system working, checked out and cleaned for the season!!!! I cannot tell you how IMPRESSED I am!!! Fast, friendly, professional and very competent!!!! Would I recommend them? ABSOLUTELY! Would I call them again? ABSOLUTELY!!!! I could not be happier!! Honest!

Installers were on time both days, they were courteous and polite. They cleaned up after themselves, explained everything and showed me how to use the new thermostat.
