ABSOLUTE CONSTRUCTION

Description of Work: We called Absolute after receiving a quote from Adirondack. They were quite less, and the bottom line was a factor. We talked about price, services and expectations. The job; cut around perimeter of basement for drainage, install sump-pump. Total estimated price (with myself removing all debris) $6000. First day I came home to find to crack head looking guys smoking cigarets and cutting up my floor. Later on the boss comes out, assures me they are on track and all good. I wanted to pull the cord at that point, but how do you do that??? I asked a bunch of questions about the quality of what I had seen so far. Cigaret butts, coffee cups, Lunch garbage all over my floor and in my house. Forget the sloppy work. We don't smoke, and the house smelled like cigarettes, not cool. Whatever, I let it slide. The next day, I come home, they're gone. So are half my tools. Cigarette butts in the toilets upstairs, upstairs! trash all over the basement floor, not just the stuff I agreed to remove. After talking to them, said at the very least bring back my tools, they sent some poor kid and his girlfriend to return them. 18 year old kid and his girl... I wanted a little satisfaction talking to the owner, but he dodged me at all cost, his wife on the other hand was always nice on the phone. Anyway, would not ever consider using these guys at any cost, total disrespect for our house. His wife, very pleasant, the rest of the crew... Totally disrespectful. Oh, to top it off, they put the sump in the wrong corner of the house! And left me with a ton of after work fixing the leaked in the out pipe and sealing up the hole they punched in the wall for the pipe. You could literally see daylight when they left... Do yourself a favor, spend the extra dollars and hire a professional. If you don't have the extra dollars, wait and save it up. This was a bad job. Description of Work: Wire brush and clean concrete basement walls. remove old basement windows. Patch concrete walls where needed. install sump pump. Install new vinyl windows. paint concrete walls with drywall.

Description of Work: Absolute Construction LLC installed five basement windows at my home. Job was challenging, since heating ducts interfered with access to old windows.

Description of Work: They were hooking up a sumpump discharge, and install a small leak field.
