Detail Remodeling

I couldn't be happier with the services provided by Detail Remodeling! The name really says it all! Joe is thorough, has a good rapport with other contractors (electrician, plumber) communicates really well, has an eye for the details, is conscious of the mess caused by remodeling, and takes every precaution to prevent as much of it as possible. There were actually times I came home after he was done for the day and I would have sworn he mopped! I couldn't recommend him more highly and would not hesitate to work with him in the future.

Joe turned a nightmare into a dream. Like a superhero Joe was able to swoop into the middle of a disaster and complete a job ruined by another contractor. He is the ultimate professional. His work is clean, neat and he is easy to work with. I am so grateful to Joe. He is extremely proud of his work and it shows. The peace of mind Joe gave me is priceless. I wish I could give Detail Remodeling and Joe higher than an A. A+++++++++

It went very well. Joe is professional and efficient and cleans up as he goes along. I was surprised at how little mess they made during the demolition. They somehow control the dust! We had good communication and he involved my husband and I in the decision making. We are very happy with the results and would use Detail Remodeling in the future!

We were told it would take 5 days and that is exactly what it took. He actually finished early in the last day and came back to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. IT was a pleasure working with Mr. Goulet.

The process went well. They were able to take down my old doors and replace them with more contemporary 6 panel doors, without a problem. The guys were neat, professional, and provided quality work. I sure would hire them again.

Joe was the consummate professional throughout. He was responsive during the run-up, showed up when he said he would, put in a full day's work and was thorough, expert, and immaculate in doing the work and cleaning up at the end. He's a polite and friendly guy who's been doing this work - very well - for a long time.

Perfectly. Joe is more than skilled in many ways. He's creative, adaptable, reliable, has great judgment, is personable and pleasant to have around. Bath came out nicer than I had imagined. He's the only renovator I would ever use for another job.

Joe Goulet, the principal was recommended by the co-op management office. My telephone call to his office was promptly returned. Within two (2) days he visited my apartment, completed the measurements and gave me an estimate which was beyond reasonable. I told him I needed the work completed with 2 weeks. He promise he would and not only completed the work on time but the completed project was way beyond my expectation. I will be renovating Amy bathroom shortly and need look no further than Detail Remodeling.

Joe Goulet is a professional. You can tell he has been in the business for years and knows how to do things the right way. He showed up on time and the finished product was just like I imagined. He cleans up after himself and has great attention to detail which is something so many people lack now a days.

Joe Goulet is the owner of the company and shows up to work every day. He has 1 spanish laborer (Santos) who also shows up every day with him. Santos has been with Joe for about 8 years. I live in a Co-op so working hours are from 9:00am-5:00pm. Joe arrived every day at 9:00-9:15 with Santos. From the get go Joe told me 10 days from start to finish, even though my wife and I wanted it done earlier we had to be realistic and as long as he stayed on track from his initial finish date it was fine. After 5 days the tile was laid around the bath tub (just needed to grout the tile) and the sheetrock was up throughout the bathroom. Still needed to lay floor tile, install fixtures and paint. My building has a strict superintendent and Joe worked with him well given the circumstances. Joe requires initial payment on day 1 of about 25%, then 50% more when your half way through and then the final 25% upon completion which I was ok with and is pretty standard. Overall it went very well. Joe did not nickel and dime me considering there were issues that occurred once the walls were opened, and replacing the toilet and getting a new wax ring and bolts so we have a toilet to use while the job was going on.

Contractor pays particular attention to detail, extremely reliable and respectful of home and keeping the surrounding area clean and protected. Joe is very easy to work with, assists with client decisions and offers ideas/solutions, knowledgeable and always shows up on time as scheduled. I am very happy with the remodel of both my bathrooms.
